YFN Lucci - Joy To The Polls Georgia Pop Up Concerts

Despite social media conspiracy theories, YFN Lucci’s lawyer says he is alive and counting down the days until he’s home.

As previously reported the Atlanta rapper Lucci was arrested in 2021 and faced a minimum of life in prison for charges stemming from a fatal shooting. The rapper’s fate seemed all but sealed but he pleaded guilty to pleaded guilty to one count of violation of Georgia’s Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. and thanks to a support letter from DA Fani Willis he was only required to serve three years. Now his expected release date is in January 2025.

According to TMZ while the rapper’s counting down the days to his release, social media is writing fiction and alleging that he died behind bars.

“YFN Lucci allegedly has passed at age 33. Prayers to his family,” read a widespread Facebook post.

Another unfounded post alleged that the rapper was somehow shot in the torse while in jail.

Luckily YFN Lucci hired high-powered lawyer Drew Findling who quickly confirmed the rapper is alive and well. TMZ reports that the fabrication was part of someone trying to use engagement farming in the wake of Rich Homie Quan’s death. These days nothing is surprising on the Internet but wishing death on someone should be off the table.

Republicans are a shameless bunch when it comes to blatantly disrespecting people on the basis of political affiliation, gender, sexual identity and race. In their world, the more disrespectful that you are, the more favorably you will be perceived by their base of deplorables. One might even call that base a “basket”.

Senator John Neely Kennedy proved himself to be a very unlikeable conservative earlier this week when he hatefully addressed the executive director of the Arab American Institute Maya Berry. According to NewRepublic reporting, Berry testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee during a hearing about terrorism and hate crimes that both Arab and Jewish Americans have experienced since the October 7 attack that ignited the war between Israel and Palestine.

Senator John Neely Kennedy had no intention of listening and learning from Ms. Berry, he was solely focused on disparaging her and labeling her a terrorist member of Hamas by asking, “You support Hamas, do you not?” To which Berry replied, “Hamas is a foreign terrorist organization that I do not support, but you asking the executive director of the Arab American Institute that question very much puts the focus on the issue of hate in our country.”

Kennedy is literally the reason that the hearing is taking place because people like him continue to stoke the fires of hatred and division.

Kennedy continued, “You support Hezbollah too, don’t you?” Over interjections from the senator, Berry said, “Again, I find this line of questioning extraordinarily disappointing, Senator. You have Arab American constituents that you represent.… The answer is I don’t support violence, whether it’s Hezbollah, Hamas, or any other entity that invokes it.”

“You can’t bring yourself to say no, can you?” Kennedy persisted. “Do you support or oppose Iran, and their hatred of Jews?”

Diddy was denied bail once again on Wednesday, Sept. 18, just a day after a federal judge in Manhattan ordered him to remain in custody while awaiting trial.

PEOPLE reports that after his bail was denied during his arraignment in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday, a separate judge rejected his renewed bail request the following day despite his team offering new additions and a $50 million bond.

During Wednesday’s hearing, Diddy’s attorneys told Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr. that the disgraced mogul who’s facing racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges would live alone in his Florida home under constant surveillance by a 24/7 security team, with a restricted guest list that would include no female visitors outside of his family. The package also included the surrender of his passport and a visitor log to be submitted nightly to pretrial services.

PEOPLE adds that Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said Diddy would surrender all access to his phone and the internet and “would do nothing but prepare for his trial.” Agnifilo also called the conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center “horrific” and said they’re unfit for someone facing trial.

Fortunately, that did not work.

Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr. ordered Diddy remanded to jail because “there were no conditions that reduced the risk of witness tampering or obstruction.” He also called the bail package “insufficient” and ruled that the government had met its burden of proof.

On Wednesday, attorney Agnifilo told CNN that he was disappointed in the outcome and vowed to fight by appealing the ruling again on Oct. 9.

“I’m not going to let him sit in that jail a day longer than he has to,” Agnifilo said.

He also spoke to Diddy’s alleged lack of emotion in court.

“He’s a stoic guy in his manner. He’s been through a lot in his life,” said the attorney.

Attorney Teny Geragos Alleges That Diddy’s Alleged “Freak-Offs” Were A Lifestyle And Not A Crime, Calls The Mogul “Completely Innocent”

Teny Geragos, another member of Diddy’s defense team, told NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo Wednesday that despite allegations of the Bad Boy founder creating and running a “criminal enterprise” through his business empire, he’s completely innocent.

Instead, Geragos said that Diddy’s alleged “freak-offs” were with consenting adults and she argued that “a lifestyle and being present in activities doesn’t mean he committed a crime.”

“What was notable today, what my partner Mark said in court, is they never once said that these women didn’t consent to what happened, not once,” said Geragos on Cuomo.

“Can they all have consented, or were they minors and therefore the consent doesn’t apply?” asked Cuomo.

“No charges relating to minors, none. None,” said Geragos. “The difference here between R. Kelly, between Epstein, no charges relating to minors.

So this is all adult, consensual activity,” said Cuomo. “People can judge it morally, but legally, you believe he committed no crime.

“Maybe it’s not what someone here would do in the bedroom, but that doesn’t mean that what he did was a crime,” replied Geragos.

As previously reported, prosecutors allege that Diddy alleged coerced women to participate in “freak-offs,” described in the indictment as “highly orchestrated performances,” which prosecutors claim he “arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded.” He then would allegedly use the footage as “collateral to ensure the continued obedience and silence of the victims,” threatening their “careers and livelihoods.”

What do YOU think about Diddy being denied bail again?

Diddy’s attorney is egregiously grasping at straws to defend his client even alleging that the mogul was hit with a cellphone by Cassie during their “mutually toxic” relationship before Diddy violently attacked her as seen in an unearthed 2016 video.

On Tuesday, the disgraced indictee’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, defended him in court amid Diddy facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. While arguing for Diddy’s bail, which was denied, his attorney alleged that the mogul is in “treatment and therapy” for undisclosed issues.

Journalist Matthew Russell Lee of Inner City Press who was in the courtroom shared via X, formerly known as Twitter, that Agnifilo told the judge:

“This case, we think, is eminently manageable. Pre-Trial Services says he has a criminal record. But he was acquitted. He is ready to do that again. What is Mr. Combs doing in NY? He’s here for treatment and therapy.”

According to Russell, Agnifilo went on to speak about the shocking hotel video that was released showing Diddy kicking, hitting, and dragging Cassie down a hotel hallway in 2016.

According to the attorney, that was not the full story and Diddy was struck by a cellphone by Cassie, who was cheating with her now-husband, personal trainer Alex Fine, (honestly, good for her). He added that Diddy was seen in the towel in the video because Casise allegedly “took his clothes,” as though that’s an excuse for what transpired.

“Somehow this hotel footage found its way out. I wonder how that happened,” Journalist Matthew Russell says Agnifilo said.” We didn’t have it. The government had it. It got out, on a day Donald Trump didn’t have any court proceedings. Mr. Combs saw it and issued an apology. He wanted to do it.”

He continued,

“Two people were in a hotel room. An issue that Mr. Combs had more than one girlfriend, okay? Victim-1 was looking through his phone and saw that – then hit him in the head with a cellphone, and took his clothing. So he comes out in a towel.”

“These two people were in love. Victim-1 ended up marrying the trainer that Mr. Combs got for her. They had been cheating on each other for years. But now she had two kids with the trainer. Years later, she realized she had a good thing with Mr. Combs.”

A good thing?! We must have watched a different video than what attorney Agnifilo saw.

Diddy is maintaining his innocence and has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Things aren’t looking good for disgraced mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs who was indicted on federal charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation for purposes of prostitution.

As previously reported, Combs was taken into federal custody months after the Feds raided his homes in Los Angeles and Miami.

Fast-forward to the latest disturbing development via federal prosecutors who allege that Combs “threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires” for years, per NBC News.

He’s also being accused of “creating a criminal enterprise” whose members and associates engaged in “various crimes including “sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice,” according to court docs.

“When employees, witnesses to his abuse, or others threatened Combs’ authority or reputation, Combs and members and associates of the Enterprise engaged in acts of violence, threats of violence, threats of financial and reputational harm, and verbal abuse,” reads the indictment. “These acts of violence included kidnapping and arson. In addition, on multiple occasions, Combs threw both objects and people as well as hit, dragged, choked, and shoved others.”

TMZ reports that a major part of the allegations centers on Diddy’s alleged “freak offs,” first described by Cassie Ventura in her 2023 lawsuit that was settled just one day later.

Prosecutors described freak offs as “elaborate, produced sex performances” orchestrated by the music mogul” who allegedly directed and recorded the events while masturbating.

“Combs subjected victims to physical, emotional and verbal abuse to cause the victims to engage in freaks offs,” reads the indictment. “Combs maintained control overs his victims through among other things, physical violence, promises of career opportunities, granting and threatening to withhold financial support and by other coercive means including tracking their whereabouts dictating the victims’ appearance, monitoring their medical records, controlling their housing and supplying them with controlled substances.”

“During and separate from freak offs, Combs among other things, hit, kicked, threw objects at, and dragged victims at times by their hair. These assaults often resulted in injuries that took days or weeks to heal.”

In one of the more disturbing details of the case, Combs allegedly had a stockpile of “freak off supplies” that included 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant seized by the Feds. That, alone, is worthy of prison if true. 1 year for every bottle.

The indictment reads:

“Members and associates of the Combs Enterprises including high-ranking supervisors, security staff, household staff, personal assistants and other Combs Business employees, facilitated the Freak Offs by, among other things, booking hotel rooms for the Freak Offs; stocking the hotel rooms in advance with the required Freak Off Supplies including controlled substances, baby oil, lubricant, extra linens and lighting; cleaning the hotel rooms after the Freak Offs to try to mitigate room damage; arranging for travel for victims, commercial sex workers, and Combs to and from Freak Offs; resupplying Combs with requested supplies; delivering large sums of cash to Combs to pay the commercial sex workers; and scheduling the delivery of IV fluids.”

Speaking to reporters, Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo declared that he would “fight like hell” to get Diddy released.

Agnifilo said Diddy’s spirits are “good” and called his client confident while pleading his innocence.

“He’s not guilty, he’s innocent of these charges.”

Naturally, social media spiraled into chaos over the federal charges that paint the picture of a wealthy and powerful man behaving like a real-life supervillain.

Which detail from the indictment shocked you the most? Do you think it’s a wrap for Diddy? Tell us down below and peep the viral reactions to Diddy’s federal indictment on the flip.

An infamous 2013 fight between J. Cole and Diddy included the Bad Boy founder allegedly threatening to “slit” the emcee’s throat, according to an interview conducted before news of Diddy’s indictment.

J. Cole

If you can recall, anarchy ensued after the 2013 VMA’s when J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar ran into Diddy at an after-party. An incensed Diddy reportedly took issue with Kendrick dubbing himself the “King of New York” on his viral “Control” verse and a situation popped off causing J. Cole to intervene.

At the time of the incident, reports surfaced that Diddy attempted to pour a drink on Kendrick, and Cole stopped him causing a scuffle between their respective entourages.

Terrance “Punch” Henderson Doesn’t Name Names But Seemingly Says Diddy Threatened To Cut J. Cole’s Throat

In recent days Top Dawg Entertainment president Terrance “Punch” Henderson‘s story about the incident has picked up steam, even before the alarming news of Diddy’s indictment on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Punch isn’t the first to tell the story of this scuffle, however, HipHopDx reports that on the R&B Money podcast, Punch said that Diddy allegedly threatened to more than just his hands at the time.

During the podcast’s “I Ain’t Saying No Names” segment, Punch set the scene for hosts Tank and J. Valentine with juuuust enough detail for us to fill in the blanks.

“The homie just did this song, right?” he said referencing Kendrick Lamar. “Piss the gang of people off. Everybody was mad at it. When the song came out, he was overseas, then he came back to the States. First place we stopped in was New York City and the first thing we do is say, ‘Let’s go to the club’ because we want to check the temperature, see what everybody was on — L.A. stuff,” Punch added about Kendrick’s industry-shaking “Control” verse.

“We get to the club. One of the homies approached us and [was] talking about this particular record. So we’re going back and forth: ‘Oh, it’s not personal. It’s just this, this and that. It’s cool, whatever, whatever,’” he continued.

“Another one of the homies walk up, he look drunk [and] said, ‘Yeah, y’all n***as need to go back and forth and keep it on wax or whatever, whatever, whatever.’ So the two dudes who approached, they get into a little back and forth, little argument with each other now. What we didn’t know is they got into an argument before we got there. They were continuing it,” Punch said, seemingly referring to Diddy and J. Cole.

See what Punch seemingly said about Diddy and J. Cole going from exchanging words to alleged cutthroat threats after the flip.

Punch Seemingly Says Diddy Threatened To Cut J. Cole’s Throat Before A Fight Broke Out

Multiple reports from that night claimed that Diddy was lost in the Ciroc sauce, which might have escalated the situation. Punch said they were surrounded by “the front row of the Grammys” in VIP. “The ratio from celebrity to regular person was like 70-30, maybe. Every section was full of celebrities. Music people, movie people, whatever,” said Punch.

“The homie that got into it with the other one, he’s sitting two steps down from me on the couch,” he descrbed. “Then they came back to him, the ones who got an altercation earlier. He was like, ‘Yeah, and if you ever say what you said to me earlier, n***a, I’ll—’ and he grabbed a bottle from the table cause he got all of the alcohol. And he said, ‘What you gon’ do? Hit me on my head with a bottle?’ ‘Like nah, I’m gonna break [it] on the table, I’m gonna cut your throat,’” Punch recalled.

The movie-like moment only got more heated from there.

“It was getting tense. So the n-gga standing on the ground reached up and tried to grab dude by the neck. So dude reached around and fired on him and they both fell on the table, knocking all the drinks over. All these celebrities are here in one spot. It’s a scuffle now, a huge scuffle,” Punch said.

When Punch spilled the tea about this moment back in 2022, he named names on My Expert Opinion

The former foes reconciled and even joked about the fight in 2021 with a playful reenactment. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Diddy jokingly squared up with J.Cole while posing for photos together.

Cole also addressed the altercation with Diddy and their mended relationship on The Off Season.

“My last scrap was with Puff Daddy, who would’ve thought it?” he raps on the song. “I bought that n-gga album in seventh grade and played it so much/You would’ve thought my favorite rapper was Puff/Back then I ain’t know shit, now I know too much,” he rapped on “Let Go My Hand.

Diddy also graced the album on the outro, officially ending the beef with a prayer. The reunion is even more impressive after Punch added another detail about how serious that fight was.
