Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss Aren’t Playing — They Want Their Money From Rudy Giuliani NOW

Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, the Georgia election workers who had to deal with all kinds of mess after Rudy Giuliani spread lies about them, are coming for what’s theirs. After winning a $140 million defamation lawsuit against Giuliani, they’re done waiting. The disrespected duo filed a court order to snatch up his assets, including his luxury condos, fancy watches, and even his Mercedes-Benz.

As BOSSIP previously reports, Giuliani admitted to spreading lies about them! So now, the journey for justice ramps up.

They’re Taking Everything — Even the Yankees Rings

Freeman and Moss demand that Giuliani hand over his New York condo, worth around $6 million, and his Palm Beach spot, valued at $3.5 million.

But that’s not all — they’re also coming for his collection of luxury watches, his Mercedes, and even his New York Yankees World Series rings. One of those rings alone potentially has a value of $30,000. According to Politico, these are two separately filed cases! Whew!

Guess how foul this sore loser is trying to play? Giuliani tried to play the bankruptcy card, but the judge wasn’t having it, and tossed his case out in July.

With that protection gone, Freeman and Moss are ready to collect. They refused to play Giuliani’s games and accused him of ducking and dodging throughout this ordeal.

BBC states that their lawyers made it clear in this court order: if Giuliani doesn’t cough up the goods in seven days, they’ll take more drastic measures.

Rudy’s Crying “Harassment” — But It’s Too Late for That

Of course, Giuliani’s not happy. He’s appealing the defamation verdict and is now whining that Freeman and Moss are just trying to “harass and intimidate” him. According to BBC News, his spokesperson, Ted Goodman, fired off an email to Reuters.

It states, “The appeal of the $148 million verdict hasn’t even been heard yet, and they’re already coming for him.”

Coming for who? Let’s not forget that Giuliani’s lies put Freeman and Moss through hell.

Some background info: this all started because Giuliani falsely accused Freeman and Moss of messing with the 2020 election results.

His lies led to THEM being harassed AND threatened by people who bought into the nonsense.

BBC News states in December, a jury saw through his BS and hit him with the massive defamation judgment — $140 million, including over $16 million each for the emotional damage they suffered.

Giuliani’s Legal Woes Aren’t Over — He’s Still Got Charges Waiting

And don’t think this is the end for Giuliani. He’s still facing heavy legal drama, including nine felony charges related to a “fake elector” scheme in Arizona. Politico states that Giuliani and 17 others tried to declare Trump the winner of the 2020 election there, and now he’s paying the price. Cheaters never win!

Freeman and Moss aren’t backing down. This latest move shows they’re determined to get what’s owed to them — no more delays, no more excuses. Black women deserve justice, especially while they’re alive.

Whether Giuliani will hand over the goods or face even more trouble remains to be seen, but one thing’s certain: these ladies aren’t going anywhere.

Donald Trump Kamala Harris

The Democratic National Convention was a spectacle of epic proportions, and it appears that it is having quite an effect on 34-time convicted felon Donald John Trump.

For weeks now, there have been questions in the media about whether or not Trump would follow through on his previously agreed-upon presidential debate with then-candidate President Joe Biden. Biden and Trump were scheduled to face off on Sept. 10 on ABC. However, it appears now that Trump is getting cold feet about fulfilling this obligation in the wake of him now debating Kamala Harris.

According to a report on the Hill, Trump went on a childish rant on his Truth Social platform to whine and complain about the fast-approaching event that millions of Americans are looking forward to watching.

“I watched ABC FAKE NEWS this morning, both lightweight reporter Jonathan Carl’s(K?) ridiculous and biased interview of Tom Cotton (who was fantastic!), and their so-called Panel of Trump Haters, and I ask, why would I do the Debate against Kamala Harris on that network?” Trump wrote.

“They’ve got a lot of questions to answer!!!” Trump wrote in his rambling rant. “Why did Harris turn down Fox, NBC, CBS, and even CNN? Stay tuned!!!”

Aw, poor thing. Whatever happened to all the tough guy s#!t he was poppin’ about how the vice president was not an intelligent person?

If you’re trying to win an election, why wouldn’t you jump at the chance to debate a person who you believe to be unintelligent? Surely, a runaway victory on live TV would serve the campaign well, no? What is big back Donnie so afraid of?

For her part, VP Harris has always expressed her enthusiasm about seeing Trump face-to-face during the September event. Specifically, during her campaign rally in Atlanta when she invoked the street ethos, “If you got something to say, say it to my face.”

The unjust killing of U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Roger Fortson in his own home led to manslaughter charges against ex-deputy Eddie Duran. He recently lost his employment with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, and Fortson’s family hopes he loses his freedom for taking the 23-year-old’s life.

This unforgettable incident, which took place on May 3, 2024, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, is coming just weeks after Fortson’s little brother was killed in an Atlanta shooting.

As this new charge brings some kind of promise of justice, the larger issues of gun violence and police brutality in the United States continue.

Just look at how long this process took for an innocent young Black man’s life cut short in cold blood. And how many supporters could have pushed the case this far if a witness and bodycam footage weren’t available to vindicate the victim?

The Incident That Ended A Life

On the evening of May 3, Fortson was at home alone with his dog, engaged in a video call with his girlfriend. It was supposed to be an ordinary night for the young airman, who was dedicated to serving his country. Instead, it turned into a nightmare.

While responding to a domestic disturbance call at Fortson’s apartment complex, Duran knocked on Fortson’s door. After hearing the same reported commotion, Fortson answered the door while holding a gun pointed at the ground.

Duran justified his behavior choice due to a “stare” he received from Fortson. Is that in police training?

Bodycam footage revealed that despite the non-threatening position of the weapon, Duran fired multiple shots, executing Fortson on the spot.

The fatal encounter has left many questioning Duran’s actions and quickly resorting to lethal force.

Is this protocol? Can’t be.

Fortson’s family, heartbroken and devastated, has been relentless in their pursuit of justice for their son.

A Family’s Fight For Justice

From the moment the news broke, Fortson’s family, led by his mother, Chantemekki Fortson, has been vocal about their desire for accountability. With the support of renowned civil rights attorney Ben Crump, they have pushed for transparency and justice, refusing to let Roger’s death become just another statistic.

According to WFLA News 8, Chantemekki Fortson expressed the family’s hopes and frustrations at a press conference held last week.

“I hope this brings about change and it teaches others that you can’t just kill people,” said Chantemekki.

“Because he should have waited for backup. And investigated a little more.”

Her words reflect the deep pain and sense of injustice that many families of police violence victims feel—a pain that is all too familiar in communities of color across the nation.

The family’s demands for justice did not go unheard. On August 23, State Attorney Ginger Bowden announced the manslaughter charge for Eddie Duran.

This criminal case is a significant step in the continuing battle for justice. For Fortson’s family, it is just the beginning of a long road ahead.

The Broader Impact

Roger Fortson’s death is a poignant reminder of the perils faced by Black individuals when encountering law enforcement, even within the supposed safety of their own homes.

The fact that Duran, who identified as Hispanic, reacted with deadly force in a situation where Fortson’s weapon was not even aimed at him, underscores the deep-seated issues of fear, bias, and training deficiencies that continue to plague police departments across the country.

As the legal process unfolds, the Fortson family and their supporters must remain vigilant— charges are only the first step. WFLA News 8 states that they seek not only justice for Roger but also systemic change to prevent other families from suffering similar tragedies.

BOSSIP will continue following the Roger Fortson case as a platform of conversation about race, policing, and justice in America.

DNC - Democratic National Convention

Source: The Washington Post / Getty

The Democratic National Convention has come to a close and from the moment that doors opened on Monday, the event embodied the popular dot-com colloquialism “keep that same energy”. For four consecutive nights, euphoric and uproarious Democrats filled the seats of the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, and had the biggest political soiree that we’ve ever seen. The moving speeches, the performances, the special surprise guests, and the outpouring of love from the audience were all building up to the final night when Vice President Kamala Harris would become the first Black-South Asian woman to accept the Democratic nomination for President of the United States of America.

That moment lived up to the lofty expectation set in the previous 72 hours…but no, Beyoncé was not there.

However, before VP Harris cracked the mic and spit her bars, several opening acts still commanded attention, inspired jubilant applause, and had folks standing up screaming, “I KNOW THAT’S RIGHT!” One of those moments was when VP Harris’ younger sister Maya Harris got on stage and gave a deeply personal speech about how their mother raised them.

In a more light-hearted moment, Kerry Washington and her often-shipped on-screen Scandal lover Tony Goldwyn (Olivia Pope and Fitz) appeared together on stage to thunderous reaction from a crowd who had been waiting for their reunion for a very long time.

In a move to reinforce the Democrats’ dedication to social justice and civil rights, in addition to drawing a stark contrast to Donald Trump who wanted them killed, Rev. Al Sharpton welcomed “The Exonerated Five” of Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, and Korey Wise to the stage to proudly proclaim “We’re not going back!”

When it was all said and done, it was time for the “MVP”, Madam Vice President, to take the stage and present herself as the next President of the United States. The speech she gave proved that she was prepared to accept the role of a joyful warrior POTUS who will fight to ensure that all Americans can live freely and affordably.

There are only 74 more days until we vote in one of the most consequential elections ever on November 5. Are you ready? Are your friends and family ready? If they aren’t, you need to make them ready.

Bossip Video

Look, it’s no secret that ever since President Joe Biden decided to step aside and yield the Democratic nomination for president to Vice President Kamala Harris, a certain terracotta-colored cretin has been having a rough go of it.

Trump thought he was going to win the White House back in a landslide victory against Biden, and now he’s watching Harris rise in the polls, he’s kicking and screaming about where his debates against her will be held, and he’s so transparently jealous of the large crowds she has been able to draw that he’s out here lying about those crowds being generated by AI.

So, now that the Democratic National Convention has given consecutive nights of Harris praise and Trump dumping, somebody in Trumpty-Dumpty’s campaign should probably check the candidate’s blood pressure, because if his social media feed is any indication, that man is about to pop a forehead vein causing his sentient toupee to run for all of the hills except Capitol Hill.

Anyway, let’s take a look at some of the best digs against Trump at the DNC so far.

1. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.

We’re starting with New York Gov. Kathy Hochul mostly because she clearly got under Trump’s rust-orange skin when she noted that the commander-in-34-convictions was “born a New Yorker, but ended up a fraud, a philanderer and a felon.”

“He wasn’t raised with the New York values that I know. He never had to worry about child care costs, or groceries, or rent,” Hochul said on the first night of the DNC. “He never had to worry about anything — or anyone — but himself.”

Trump responded on his comically titled “Truth” Social platform by calling Hochul “nasty,” which is essentially the first word he comes up with whenever a female journalist or official challenges him in a tone he doesn’t like. (See his racist-a** appearance at NABJ.)

“Kathy Hochul, the very unpopular Governor of New York, was the nastiest speaker on Monday evening (at the Democrat National Convention) as it pertains to your favorite President, me,” Trump wrote. “Her total hatred, and statements made about me, had no bounds.”

“Number one, I did a GREAT job in New York, employed thousands of people, built some of the most beautiful and successful buildings, and paid billions of dollars in taxes,” Trump continued. “Number two is that, on the very distinct possibility I will win the Presidency, wouldn’t it be better for the people of New York State to have a Governor who got along with the President? Adversarial relationships are not good in politics!”

You might be asking yourself a few obvious questions:

When the hell has Trump ever spewed anything but “total hatred” at his opposition? When has he ever extended the grace to his opponents that he is now demanding from them? By Trump’s non-logic, it’s also true that there’s a “very distinct possibility” that Kamala Harris will be elected president, in which case he would also regret all of the “total hatred” he has leveled against her, no?

Ok, let’s move on.

2.  Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also spent the first night of the DNC coming straight at Trump’s jugular as she noted the ridiculous of the very idea that a supposed billionaire who came from wealth and largely worked for the wealthy during his presidency is somehow the ultimate man of the people.

“We know Trump would sell this country for a dollar if it meant lining his own pockets and greasing palms of his Wall Street friends,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And I, for one, am tired of hearing about how a two-bit union buster thinks of himself as more of a patriot than the woman who fights every single day to lift working people out from under the boots of greed trampling on our way of life.”

“The truth is, Don, you cannot love this country if you only fight for the wealthy and big business,” she continued.

Daaaaayum! AOC didn’t have to do the silver spoon buffoon painted orangey-maroon like that. She had bars though.

3.  Stephanie Grisham.

Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham used to be a Trump supporter. In fact, it was her job to be a Trump supporter and clean up every mess he made after spewing pure bile out of his butthole-shaped mouth, which had to be a full-time job with more overtime than anyone ever wanted. On the second night of the DNC, Grisham became the living embodiment of “It be your own people” when she was one of three Republicans to take the DNC stage and spill the real tea on the Pumpkin spice MAGA Menace.

“I saw him when the cameras were off. Behind closed doors, Trump mocks his supporters. He calls them ‘basement dwellers,’” Grisham said of Trump. “He has no empathy, no morals and no fidelity to the truth. He used to tell me, ‘It doesn’t matter what you say, Stephanie. Say it enough, and people will believe you.’”

“When I was press secretary, I got skewered for never holding a White House briefing. It’s because, unlike my boss, I never wanted to stand at that podium and lie,” she went on to say.

Well.

4. Barack and Michelle Obama.

OK, so we already covered former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama laying the tag-team smackdown on Trump during the second night of the convention, but we just can’t gloss over the way Barack was killing Trump, who he said “hasn’t stopped whining since he rode down that golden elevator.

If you look closer during the part where the former commander-in-chief was taking a dig at Trump’s aforementioned “weird obsession with crowd sizes,” Obama appeared to be mocking the weird thing Trump is always doing with his hands where it looks like he’s trying to explain the before and after effects of penile enhancement.

But it was Michelle who really brought the hammer down on Trump.

“For years, Donald Trump did everything in his power to try to make people fear us,” said Michelle according to NewsOne. “See, his limited, narrow view of the world made him feel threatened by the existence of two hard-working, highly educated, successful people who happen to be Black. I want to know — I want to know — who’s going to tell him, who’s going to tell him, that the job he is currently seeking might just be one of those ‘Black jobs’?”

5. Hillary Clinton.

Former presidential candidate and First Lady, Hillary Clinton, was basically like: “Nah, y’all ain’t finna throw this Trump-jumping party and not invite me to come shake a leg.”

After Trump led his MAGA minions in chanting “Lock her up” when they were running against each other in 2015’s general election, you just know Clinton was waiting to take revenge on the guy who stored multiple truckloads of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida after he and his low-information constituents had so much to say about her emails.

From Politico:

The former secretary of state used her primetime speech at the Democratic National Convention to rip into her former presidential rival as a selfish criminal who Democrats now have “on the run” against Vice President Kamala Harris.

As a prosecutor, Harris “locked up murderers and drug traffickers. She will never rest in defense of our freedom and safety,” Clinton said.

“Donald Trump fell asleep at his own trial. And when he woke up, he made his own kind of history — the first person to run for president with 34 felony convictions,” Clinton said.

Then she grinned as the crowd erupted into chants of “lock him up.”

Yeah, that must have been fun for her.

Anyway, the final night of the DNC will air live on Thursday evening. Let’s see if we can add a few more great Trump digs to the list.

TOPSHOT-US-VOTE-POLITICS-DEMOCRATIC-CONVENTION

Source: MANDEL NGAN / Getty

We knew that the 2024 Democratic National Convention was going to be a joyous affair but after just two days, the enthusiasm and excitement have far exceeded our expectations. Last night, the crowd inside of the United Center in Chicago reached new levels as each state participated in a roll call to the sounds of DJ Cassidy and one legendary appearance by the King of Crunk himself, Lil Jon.

It should also be mentioned that Kendrick Lamar’s ubiquitous diss track “Not Like Us” and several other classic West Coast tracks were booming through the arena speakers as representatives from the state of California pledged their votes for VP Harris to be the Democratic nominee.

Never in a million years did we think we’d see this type of partying happening at the DNC. It made the RNC look like a MAGA funeral, perhaps it was. The vibey roll call set the stage for Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff to deliver a heartfelt and emotional speech about his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris.

That man loves him some Kamala Harris and it shows. We can’t help but notice that the party that believes they have a monopoly on “family values” is never seen publicly being enamored with their partners. Interesting.

Following Emhoff’s remarks, the main event was set to begin and you could feel how ready the people were to hear what Forever First Lady Michelle Obama had to say. She said a LOT. However, there was one part in particular that really got the people going. For a little over 60 seconds, Mrs. Obama took a bubbling pan of fish grease and fried up a filet of Trump that was so pointed that the internet laid it over Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Meet The Grahams.”

“For years, Donald Trump did everything in his power to try to make people fear us,” said Michelle according to NewsOne. “See, his limited, narrow view of the world made him feel threatened by the existence of two hard-working, highly educated, successful people who happen to be Black. I want to know — I want to know — who’s going to tell him, who’s going to tell him, that the job he is currently seeking might just be one of those Black jobs?”

Finally, batting clean-up, President Obama took the stage and reminded us all of his extraordinary ability to effectively communicate multiple messages while seamlessly weaving in and out of tones and cadences.

The Democrats are two for two so far but as the Obamas reminded America, this election isn’t about energy, excitement, concerts, nor conventions, it’s about votes. Are you ready to cast your ballot? Are your friends and family ready? If not, it’s your job to prepare them. Go do the work.

Detroit Judge Kenneth King is suspended and out of a teaching job for Scared Straight shenanigans of handcuffing a homeless teen because she fell asleep on a field trip.

According to ABC News, the incident involves a 15-year-old girl named Eva Goodman, who was subjected to a humiliating abuse of power when King demanded to restrain and dress her like a prisoner. The unjust judge doubled down on berating Goodman about sleeping at home in her bed even after her mother revealed that the girl didn’t have those.

This wasn’t just an isolated incident. It’s part of a disturbing pattern of behavior that started long before his temporary removal from the bench. However, critics argue that the consequences are not nearly enough, especially given his track record.

A Judge On A Power Trip

The latest incident occurred during a field trip organized by the nonprofit Greening of Detroit. ABC News states that Eva Goodman, a teenager without a permanent home, was understandably exhausted and fell asleep in the courtroom.

Instead of handling the situation with the empathy one might expect from a public servant, Judge King decided to make an example out of her. He forced her into a jail uniform and handcuffs in front of her peers. He claimed that he wanted to “get through to her” about the seriousness of courtroom behavior.

“I wanted this to look and feel very real to her, even though there’s probably no real chance of me putting her in jail,” King said.

Seems as if he suggests the courtroom is a stage for life lessons rather than a place of justice. But this isn’t the first time Judge King has been accused of letting his position go to his head.

A History Of Judge King’s Sunken Shadiness

This latest incident is just one more example of King’s history of questionable decisions on the bench. According to some ‘X’ users, his career track record is full of harsh and often inappropriate treatment of individuals in his courtroom. These past incidents made many question whether he’s more interested in exerting his power than upholding the law.

Previously reported by BOSSIP, he has also let killer cops walk without a trial. Somehow the need for heavy-handed lessons, or at least a day in court, didn’t apply to a Detroit cop punching a 70-year-old Black man to death. This pattern of behavior challenges King’s impartiality and track record. Critics question how he rules fairly while turning his courtroom into a personal fiefdom where he dispenses humiliation and intimidation.

See Eva Goodman’s mother speaking out, Judge King doubling down, and Wayne State University dropping his employment after the flip.

Goodman’s Mother Calls King A “Big Bully” As He’s Suspended From Court For “Training”

Following the public outcry over his treatment of Eva Goodman, King was temporarily removed from the bench and required to undergo “necessary training.”

However, he will continue to be paid during this period. That fact has not gone unnoticed by those who feel his actions warrant a more severe penalty. In ABC News, Judge William McConico, the court’s chief judge, stated that King’s actions “do not reflect this commitment [to providing access to justice in an environment free from intimidation or disrespect].”

Yet, for many, the fact that King is still drawing a paycheck while being “trained” raises serious questions about the accountability of those in positions of power.

[embedded content]

Latoreya Till, Eva Goodman’s mother, did not mince words in her reaction to King’s actions.

“My daughter is hurt. She is feeling scared,” Till said, calling King a “big bully” who abused his authority in a way that left lasting emotional scars on her daughter. The distraught mother launched a GoFundMe campaign to secure permanent housing for herself and her children.

Marissa Ebersole Wood, chairperson of Greening of Detroit, also weighed in, criticizing King’s methods.

“Although the judge was trying to teach a lesson of respect, his methods were unacceptable. The group of students should have been simply asked to leave the courtroom if he thought they were disrespectful,” Wood said.

In an interview with WXYZ-Detroit, Till tearfully broke down about King criminalizing and traumatizing her daughter for struggling without a permanent home.

“Would you want someone to treat your child like that? Would you even treat your child like that if he fell asleep in a courtroom?” the single mother asked.

“The fact that he was talking about ‘you go home and get your bed.’ How do you know my baby got a home? How do you know my baby got a bed, her own bed that she can sleep in? She don’t have that right now so she was tired,” Till continued.

King doubled down on his Scared Straight tactics to the news outlet.

“Do I have any reservations? Do I think I was heavy-handed in what I did? No, I don’t because I’ll do whatever needs to be done to reach these kids to ensure they don’t end up in front of me. So that was my own version of Scared Straight,” he smugly said.

The recent SCOTUS ruling to make homelessness illegal will force innocent people like Goodman into the prison pipeline. This incident makes King look more aligned with judges like Clarence Thomas, criminalizing the most vulnerable than keeping them out of the system.

Wayne State University Terminates Judge Kenneth King’s Teaching Job

In Detroit, where communities already feel the strain of systemic injustice, King’s actions serve as a painful reminder that those who are supposed to uphold the law are sometimes the very ones who undermine it. And another institution is already distancing itself from the judge.

The Detroit Free Press reports Wayne State University ended King’s employment as an adjunct professor. The school snatched two of King’s classes set to start this fall, “The Judicial Process” and “Criminal Procedure: Investigation.”

“In light of the 36th District Court’s temporary suspension of Judge Kenneth King, Wayne State University has reassigned two Fall 2024 courses to other instructors,” spokesman Bill Roose announced.

“In light of the 36th District Court’s temporary suspension of Judge Kenneth King, Wayne State University has reassigned two Fall 2024 courses to other instructors,” he continued.

Judge Kenneth King’s behavior represents a larger problem within the judicial system, where judges often operate with impunity, even when their actions violate ethical standards

King’s removal from the bench and the classroom is a start but is far from a real solution.

Caucasity audacity is going to reach peak levels the closer we get to Election Day on November 5. The last and only three weeks of Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign has been firing on all cylinders and the right-wing of the American political power structure is panicking. They see the vibes. They know the type of energy that VP Harris has injected into this race and they know that their guy Donald Trump is spiraling.

The basket of deplorables is desperate and scared and as Kendrick Lamar so eloquently stated, “every antic is feeling distasteful”.

During a recent appearance on CNN, South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace personified those lyrics with aloof aplomb…

This cantankerous Karen thinks that purposefully mispronouncing Kamala Harris’ name is cute and tries to justify her bulls**t with nonsensical rantings about trans people. This is what Donald Trump has ushered into the mainstream. Immaturity and insults from party representatives who purport themselves to be serious people.

Shoutout to Dr. Michael Eric Dyson and Keith Boykin for G-checking this embarrassing bag of mayonnaise for her blantant disrespect. These folks are going to FAFO when the numbers start to roll in on election night. The unmitigated arrogance to forego any semblance of actual policy debate for childishness and still believe that American voters will deem them worthy of public office.

The political slaughter is going to be sweet. We can’t wait to see their pain.

On Monday, Donald Trump sat down with Elon Musk on Spaces, X’s platform for live audio discussions, so that the ex-president could lie, insult his opponents, and ramble on barely coherently in front of someone who is more than willing to babysit him through an interview while not pushing back on any misinformation Trump is bound to spew.

The interview between Orange Foolius and Darth Apartheid got off to a rocky start with a 45-minute delay due to technical issues, which Musk blamed on a “massive DDOS attack.”

Elon Musk

Source: Arturo Holmes / Getty

Musk, of course, provided zero evidence that his elaborate dog and pony show with his partner in thinly veiled white nationalism was the target of an intentional cyber attack, but, as the New York Times noted, he did agree with a follower’s baseless remark  that the outage was caused by “Dems fighting to ‘save’ Democracy from two massive disrupters.”

Once the interview finally got going, listeners were able to bore themselves to death by subjecting themselves to two full hours of Trump repeating the same old lies and leveling the same old attacks on the Biden administration and his new opponent in the general election, VP Kamala Harris. Occasionally, Musk would sort of guide Trump into speaking about actual issues like immigration and the economy while being very careful not to ask any tough questions that might fluster the Republican nominee, but, for the most part, Musk just sat there and agreed with everything Trump said like he was the world’s most disposable bobblehead. (To be fair, that might be one of the most accurate descriptions of Musk I’ve ever written.)

There was this one weird part of the interview when Trump complimented Harris’ appearance, calling her “beautiful,” which would have been wildly uncharacteristic of Trumpif it hadn’t come after a slew of personal insults regarding Harris’ intelligence and competence, and if it hadn’t turned out to be a backhanded compliment meant to point the finger at the media for depicting Harris as more attractive than he believes she truly is. (You can tell Trump has never taken an honest look in the mirror in the last few decades even after applying a fresh coat of spray tan.)

From the Independent:

In the interview, Trump launched into a scathing critique of Harris calling her a “terrible” leader, before he swiftly drifted to fawning over her “beautiful” appearance.

“We need smart people, and people that have the ability to lead. She doesn’t have that ability. Can you imagine her with chairman Xi [Jinpin, President of the People’s Republic of China],” he said, speaking with a distinct lisp.

Musk, who remained agreeable throughout the two-hour interview, admitted that it “would be silly.”

“She is terrible, she is terrible,” Trump doubled down. “She’s getting a free ride.”

The former president then abruptly segued into talking about Harris’ looks, drawing comparison between her and the former first lady.

“I saw a picture of her on Time magazine today. She looks like the most beautiful actress ever to live,” Trump said of Harris, referring to the latest edition of Time magazine, which brands Harris’ campaign as “the swiftest vibe shift in modern political history.”

“She looked very much like our great first lady, Melania,” Trump gushed as Musk met his comment with an awkward chuckle and a reserved, “yeah…”

“She didn’t look like Camilla,” Trump said, purposely butchering Harris’ name. “Of course, she’s a beautiful woman and we’ll leave it at that.”

“Right… well yeah, well, you know,” Musk said, before scrambling to change the subject and entering into a monologue about the American dream.

On the other hand, it’s entirely possible Trump was actually trying to compliment Harris in order to get out from under criticism of his personal attacks on Harris, including the number of times he publicly questioned her racial identity. There’s also a story the Times published over the weekend, which included accounts from at least two people who claim they witnessed Trump call Harris a “b****” repeatedly during different conversations.

Either way, Harris’ campaign didn’t bother acknowledging Trump’s remarks about the 59-year-old’s appearance, but the campaign did describe Trump and Musk as “self-obsessed rich guys” who basically engaged in a circle-jerk of mediocre white men who are just extremely lucky they were born into wealth. (OK, the campaign didn’t say all that about the discussion between Mango Mussolini and Phony Stark, but only because they would never hire me as a spokesman.)

“Trump’s entire campaign is in service of people like Elon Musk and himself — self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in the year 2024,” the campaign wrote in an official statement after the interview.

I mean, they’re not wrong.

Ajike “AJ” Owens was a mother of 4 children who should still be alive to raise them, nurture them, and watch them bloom into successful and productive members of society. Sadly, Owens won’t get that opportunity because a trigger-happy racist named Susan Lorincz stole her life from her on the afternoon of June 2, 2023. BOSSIP has reported extensively about the case and we highly suggest you read those articles to understand better what happened between the two ladies in their Ocala, Florida neighborhood.

According to Fox35 Orlando, Lorincz appeared in court on Friday while her defense and the prosecutors argued about the nuances of the trial including whether or not the racist slurs that Lorincz hurled at Owens’ children will be admissible. Lorincz readily admitted to detectives that she had previously called Owens’ children “n****ers” and such was noted in her arrest affidavit.

“Detective Pinder and I discussed with Lorincz the allegations of making racial slurs towards children in the neighborhood and Lorincz admitted to having used the n-word toward children out of anger in the past and also to calling children other derogatory terms.”

However, WESH noted that prosecutors have agreed not to use the evidence of racist slurs in the trial stating,

“The State concedes, pursuant to long standing case law, that racial slurs are generally inadmissible unless the use of the racial slur was relevant to show the defendant’s state of mind as an element of the crime charged.”

This decision comes as a disappointment to both Owens’ grieving family and their legal counsel Anthony Thomas.

“That’s how AJ gets across the street, knocking on the door because Susan was calling them racial slurs,” Thomas said. “The family had always thought that there had been a racial component to the interactions between Susan and AJ, specifically related to the children.”

“Long-standing case law” be damned. The judge in the case previously stated that while past incidents may not be relevant to the actual shooting, the events that led to AJ Owens approaching Lorincz’s door may be very pertinent.

“The buildup to this day is relevant,” he said, adding later on that “her mindset at the time of the shooting is gonna be relevant.

BOSSIP will be covering this trial and all its legal machinations.

Donald Trump is a liar. BOSSIP previously reported on one of his most recent lies in which Trump claimed that he almost died in a helicopter crash with former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown. He also claimed that Brown had “terrible” things to say about Vice President Kamala Harris. Brown spoke out saying that not only is he fond of Kamala Harris but that he’s also never been on a helicopter with Donald Trump.

Another day, another batch of lies.

During his weird 65-minute press conference at his home in Mar-a-Lago yesterday, Trump also told the immature lie that the crowds at his MAGA rallies rival that of the crowd that Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. drew at his iconic “I Have A Dream” speech.

Via Business Insider:

“If you look at Martin Luther King, when he did his speech, his great speech, and you look at ours, same real estate, same everything, same number of people,” Trump said. “They said he had a million people, but I had 25,000 people. But when you look at the exact same picture, and everything’s the same because it was the fountains, the whole thing all the way back to… from Lincoln to Washington. And you look at it, and you look at the picture of his crowd, my friend, we actually had more people.”

The caucasity audacity of this orange almost-octogenarian. Dr. King’s daughter, Bernice King, caught wind of this egregious lie and took to Twitter to make it plain.

November 5 is fast approaching. Are you ready?

A titian tyrant tantrum happened Tuesday after Vice President Kamala Harris selected Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate in the 2024 presidential race.

Trump vs. Walz

Walz, so far, is being praised by Democrats and anti-Trump Republicans alike who view him as a solid VP pick who is progressive enough to energize a younger, more progressive base, and moderate enough that more centrist voters aren’t going to go running for the hills. And with his extensive resume as a military veteran, educator, and state leader, Republicans are going to have a difficult time finding mud to sling at him.

There simply doesn’t appear to be much criticism for Walz, 60, that would be immediately obvious—unless, of course, you happen to be Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt who really doesn’t seem to like Walz… or liberals… or California… or caron-free emissions.

“It’s no surprise that San Francisco Liberal Kamala Harris wants West Coast wannabe Tim Walz as her running-mate — Walz has spent his governorship trying to reshape Minnesota in the image of the Golden State,” Leavitt said in a statement, according to The Hill.

“From proposing his own carbon-free agenda, to suggesting stricter emission standards for gas-powered cars, and embracing policies to allow convicted felons to vote, Walz is obsessed with spreading California’s dangerously liberal agenda,”she continued.

You can tell Republicans only really know how to shout and shake their collective fists inside their own echo chambers because Leavitt is out here hitting Walz with attacks over issues that aren’t even really all that controversial to anyone outside of the world of angry, white and perpetually aggrieved MAGA minions.

Leavitt thinks she’s describing the horrors of felons who have served their time being allowed to vote on the legislators whose policies affect them and evil regulations aimed at*checks notes*—making the Earth less polluted, when, really, she’s just threatening sensible Americans with a good time.

Even if one disagrees with these policies, they would have to admit they’re not exactly issues that will galvanize the people en mass. These issues, while important, are pretty mundane politically, unless you ask the Trump campaign, in which case: “TIM WALZ WILL UNLEASH HELL ON EARTH!”

From the Hill:

In an email last week, Trump vowed to “unleash hell” at his rally in Atlanta, shortly after Harris made a stop there.

On a fundraising site, Trump reiterated the line and criticism of Walz.

“He’ll unleash HELL ON EARTH and open our borders to the worst criminals imaginable,” the site said. “He’ll rubber stamp Kamala’s GREEN NEW SCAM and light TRILLIONS of dollars on fire.”

Who knew environmentally friendly policies and initiatives were products of the devil?!

Speaking of the devil (no pun, kinda), maybe he possessed Trump Tuesday because he had a meltdown on Truth Social claiming that “Crooked” Joe Biden wants the Democratic nomination back while erratically calling Dems names.

“He feels that he made a historically tragic mistake by handing over the U.S. Presidency, A COUP, to the people the World he most hates, and he wants it back, NOW!!!” wrote Mango Mussolini.

Anyway, I suppose Republicans will actually find plenty to attack Walz on that will get people fired up who never had any intention of voting for anyone besides Trump. After all, Walz was governor of Minnesota during the summer of protest following the murder of George Floyd, and he did ban cops from using chokeholds, introduce de-escalation training for police officers, and establish an independent board to investigate police officers who have killed citizens.

He also doesn’t appear to hate women and LGBTQ+ folks, so, you know.

More from the Hill:

Republicans are likely to criticize Walz on his policy positions on abortion and LGBTQ issues, painting him as a radical liberal, as they have sought to do with Harris.

“If Walz won’t tell voters the truth, we will: just like Kamala Harris, Tim Walz is a dangerously liberal extremist, and the Harris-Walz California dream is every American’s nightmare,” Leavitt said.

Nah, Walz isn’t “every American’s nightmare.” He’s just the new boogie man hiding under the beds of bigots, felon haters, toxic Earth lovers, and people who don’t believe women should have the agency to choose what to do with their own bodies.

It’s just not the attack they think it is.
