Fans of the hit HBO series Euphoria can breathe a sigh of relief because season three of the show is still slated to arrive on the streaming service.

Back in July, HBO announced that season three would go into production at the top of 2025. However, rumors recently circulated that the actors had decided not to return to the series. The news quickly spread that the series would end with the last thing viewers saw of the characters more than two years ago.

One of the driving forces of the rumors was the announcement that lead actress, Zendaya, had joined the cast of a new Christopher Nolan film slated for release in 2026. Fans assumed that the Golden Globe winner would not have the time to shoot both projects simultaneously. HBO executives rushed to assure fans that any rumors about the show not returning were absolutely false.”

In July 2023, one of the show’s stars, Angus Cloud, died from an accidental drug overdose. Fans wondered how the series would handle his character’s passing as season two seemed to point to a growing storyline for him. Zendaya‘s other co-stars, Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi, have also enjoyed booming careers and skyrocketing popularity since their portrayals of Cassie Howard and Nate Jacobs, respectively.

The show’s creators have not yet revealed much about season three, although HBO‘s CEO of content, Casey Bloys, did confirm that there will be a time jump for the characters, which will put them out of high school, according to Variety.

“There’s a lot of back and forth about where to set it and how far in the future to set it and all that stuff,” Bloys said. “But I think he’s [Sam Levinson] got a take that he’s excited about, and he’s busy writing.”

Euphoria became an instant hit for HBO when it debuted in 2019 but one has to wonder how much time can go by before fans completely move on from having an investment in any of the characters.

YSL -Young Thug - US-MUSIC-FESTIVAL-ASTROWORLD

Judge Paige Reese Whitaker accidentally used the ” n-word ” while reading in court and apologized after the clip went viral.

Young Thug is free from the YSL Rico proceedings, but the trial is far from done. The trial has become the longest in Fulton County history and adds to the lead every day. After the final defendants refused plea deals, the prosecution will continue presenting evidence. With Young Thug out of the courtroom, it seemed the viral drama would be over, but a week later, the case is viral yet again.

According to Complex, a new viral clip of Judge Paige Whitaker saying the “n-word” in court is making its way around the internet.

“I gotta do it for boo, these n***as lacking.” Whitaker read in the courtroom without paraphrasing the slur.

Whitaker was reading a social media post in the courtroom and said the slur which was captured by various livestreams. Many have alleged the Judge and others do not pay attention to the social media chatter related to the trial but now it seems that may be a life. Shortly after the break, Judge Whitaker took the stand and immediately apologized for using the word.

“Before we broke for lunch, we were hashing through a bunch of Instagram conversations,” Judge Whitaker said. “And I was reading one out loud and basically saying it as my eyes were going over it for the first time ever and just reading whatever was on the paper. And I read out the word n-i-g-g-a-s, which I hope that that was not offense to anyone. It was certainly not meant to be offensive to anyone. I do not use that word. And it was merely—I should have been looking first before I said it, whatever I said out loud, to edit if there were any offensive words. So, I wanna apologize on the record for that.”

Whitaker also said she “does not use that word” while expressing her remorse for the mistake. Defendant Shannon Stillwell replied to Whitaker promising “Your Honor, there was no offense” to break the ice in the courtroom. The YSL trial contains more ups and downs than a made-for-TV movie. While the biggest defendant is off the case it seems the trial could still go out with a bang. At this point, we expected nothing less from this trial.

Beyoncé has spent the latter half of her career studying little-known Black history, and now she has her own Ivy League curriculum. Her latest albums, Renaissance and Cowboy Carter, are prime examples of her passion. Yale University students will have the chance to study her place in Black history in a college course. Yale professor Daphne Brooks offers students an opportunity to dive deep into Beyoncé’s cultural impact this Spring.

The singer’s impact has been felt across the music industry. From inventing surprise album releases to pioneering visual albums, Beyoncé has continually progressed in the music industry. However, her impact is felt in other places as well. In her attempts to shed light on Black history, she has changed the way we study Black history. Professor Brooks plans to use the singer’s work as a musical history book of sorts.

According to Yale News, the college course will use Beyoncé’s work from 2013-2024 as a “lens” to observe Black history. Brooks thought up the class while she was still on the faculty at Princeton University. While there, she taught “Black Women in Popular Music Culture,” in which students heavily focused on Queen Bey.

“Those classes were always overenrolled,” Brooks told Yale News. “And there was so much energy around the focus on Beyoncé, even though it was a class that starts in the late 19th century and moves through the present day. I always thought I should come back to focusing on her and centering her work pedagogically at some point.”

The news of this college course offering comes just after Vice President Kamala Harris lost the presidential election to Donald Trump. Brooks says now, this class is more important than ever as she told the publication, she believes Beyoncé’s contributions to culture and Black history need to be studied.

As for what students will actually be studying in class, Yale News stated the college course will focus on Beyoncé’s “sonic, fashion and visual media.” Students will be charged with reading and discussing those who have written scholarly articles about the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer, like Cedric Robinson and Karl Hagstrom Miller. Those lucky enough to enroll in the class will attend screenings of Bey’s work. They will also have the opportunity to dig through archives to study her impact.

Brooks clarified that it was vital for her to hone in on Beyoncé’s later works, i.e., Beyoncé, Lemonade, and Cowboy Carter, because they mark her distinction from “typical pop repertoire.”

“2013 was really such a watershed moment in which she articulated her beliefs in Black feminism,” Brooks stated. “[In Flawless], it was the first time a pop artist had used sound bites from a Black feminist like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. It became more about ‘We are going to produce club bangers that are also galvanizing our ability to think radically about the state of liberation.”

The college course will also examine other Black women who impacted the music industry, such as Diana Ross, Grace Jones, and Josephine Baker. Additionally, Brooks designed the course to help students connect the dots between American history and the plight of minorities.

“I would hope that no matter what discipline you are pursuing in liberal arts at Yale,” Brooks said, “by looking at culture through Beyoncé, it can invite us to think about the extent to which art can articulate the world we live in and nourish our spirits and give us the space to imagine better worlds and the ethics of freedom.”

In an electrifying match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Coco Gauff once again proved her superstar status by capturing the prestigious WTA Finals title.

Facing off against China’s Zheng Qinwen in a nail-biting match, Gauff clinched victory with a score of 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2). CNN reports she came back from a set down to deliver a breathtaking win. In doing so, she silenced doubters and made history, becoming the youngest player since Maria Sharapova in 2004 to win this tournament, which gathers only the world’s best players.

With this win, Gauff has firmly cemented her place as a powerhouse in women’s tennis, all at the age of 19. But her victory is more than a personal achievement. It resonates on a larger scale, especially at a time when women around the world are searching for symbols of resilience and hope. With a record-breaking prize of over $4.8 million, her WTA Finals title is the richest prize in the history of women’s tennis.

Coco Gauff’s 2023 season had its ups and downs, which invited criticism from some who doubted her ability to stay consistent at the highest level. Gauff responded to those critics taking to social media to celebrate her victory.

“Lol safe to say I beat the bad season allegations,” she posted, with a bit of humor for her haters. She later expressed heartfelt gratitude to her supporters, writing, “Ya’ll held it down for me win or lose! I thank you for that. I see you and I appreciate you. And I know some of you are a little bit petty like me so it does feel nice to silence them for a bit.”

In a time when many women feel disheartened by political and social challenges, Gauff’s triumph offers a fresh source of inspiration. She reminds us all that persistence pays off and that dreams are achievable even in the face of adversity. For young women, especially Black women, Gauff’s success is a powerful reminder of the strength and impact of Black Girl Magic.

Gauff’s win brings a glimpse of hope. She’s proven that even under scrutiny, young women can rise to meet their goals, redefine limits, and uplift others along the way. Her success becomes a form of resistance, a reminder of the potential women have to achieve their dreams in any arena they choose.

Gauff’s WTA Finals victory isn’t just a feather in her cap—it’s a historic achievement that makes her the highest-paid champion in WTA history. Taking home a record-breaking $4.8 million prize, earning this title at just 19, she’s redefined what’s possible for the next generation of tennis players.

For Coco, though, it’s not all about the money or fame. She attributes her success to her deep faith and tireless work ethic. “All glory to God truthfully,” she shared, “I’m eternally grateful for the life I get to live and to have moments like this makes all of the hours/sacrifice I put into this worth it.”

As Gauff rests and prepares for the next season, her legacy already speaks volumes. In her words: “Time to rest for a little bit but then it’s back to grind for the year’s szn.”

Despite the online backlash, Halle Bailey is moving on from the DDG drama with Chloe Bailey at Femme It Forward’s Give Her FlowHERS Gala. The singer appeared at an event in LA celebrating Black women amidst her first solo Grammy nomination. Her appearance comes after she called out her child’s father, DDG, for taking their son, Halo, to Kai Cenat’s house.

Hand in hand with her sister, Halle attended Femme It Forward’s third annual ‘Give Her FlowHERS’ Awards Gala. Dressed to the nines, the sisters stunned on the red carpet. While Chloe sported a grey blazer-mermaid style dress, Halle opted for a white halter-neck gown.

Many other stars attended the women-centered event, including Andra Day, GloRilla, and Saweetie. Halle’s attendance marks her first public appearance since her online debacle with DDG.

As BOSSIP reported, the “Because I Love You” singer took to X, formerly known as Twitter, with concerns over her son’s safety. Halle and DDG’s son, Halo, appeared on Kai Cenat‘s Mafiathon stream along with his dad. Though their visit was innocent, Halle claims she wasn’t informed that Halo would appear on the stream. In a now-deleted tweet, Halle’s mama-bear instincts were on high alert.

“Hi everyone. Just so you know I am out of town and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight,” she wrote. “I wasn’t told or notified and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified especially when I am out of town.”

In a separate tweet, she addressed her struggle with postpartum depression.

“As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected. no one knows what someone is going through until they snap,” she stated in the now-deleted tweet.

However, after deleting her socials for a while, the new mother returned to X the next day with a different mindset.

“Yesterday maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. I know that Halo is always safe with his dad. I just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing,” she admitted.

Social Media and DDG React To Halle’s Concerns

After debuting their relationship in 2022, Halle and DDG announced their son’s birth in January 2024, a month after his birth. Unfortunately, Halo’s parents called it quits just shy of his first birthday. DDG posted a statement to his platforms announcing their split, while Halle has remained quiet about the breakup.

After the “Angel” singer expressed her concerns on X, many social media users inserted their opinions. Some users understood Halle’s worry. Though Cenat’s stream is not inherently inappropriate, some do not consider it the place for an 11-month-old.

“yall really making a postpartum mother feel bad for being upset her baby’s father didn’t tell her he was putting her baby on a stream that just got swatted less than a week ago…… okay brah,” an X user wrote.

Another X user pointed out that Halle was just worried about Halo, which is natural.

“Y’all really forced a mother to apologize for worrying about her child,” they wrote.

However, some X users were not moved by Halle’s motherly instincts, as they felt she decided to have a baby with DDG.

“mind u when we all said he was a cornball & not to procreate with a youtuber….. you told us to shut up and pray………,” one user stated.

Nevertheless, DDG came to Halle’s defense, stating that though they are no longer together, he understands she is suffering from postpartum depression.

“She could be going through something mentally after having a kid that I can’t understand as a man,” he stated in a video responding to the backlash. “So when situations like this happen, I try to handle it with as much grace as possible because Halo needs her. I need her. We need each other to create a childhood that’s safe and fun and memorable for him.”

Tony Todd - One Step Closer Foundation Celebrity Charity Poker Event

Tony Todd, the original Candyman and legendary voice actor dies at  69.

Tony Todd has an entertainment career that many could only dream of. His skills have touched generations across multiple decades across TV, film, and even video games. On November 9, the actor sadly passed away at the age of 69. One thing that will live on forever is the lore he created with his Candyman performance.

Thanks to Todd’s horrifying performance kids will never look in the mirror and say the name five times. After making his film debut over 38 years ago Todd achieved over 200 TV and film credits. He humbly bragged about this on social media, reminding the kids it’s possible.

After Todd’s passing Candyman co-star Virginia Madsen paid tribute to their “gothic romance” on social media.

“A truly poetic man. A voice that made it easy to swoon. Thanks to Bernard Rose, we really created a gothic romance. It’s why the film lives on. A gentle soul with a deep knowledge of the arts. He enjoyed the fans and was never shy when it came to fans approaching, wanting photos. A rare actor who allowed himself to be open to the public attention. Wish I had seen him on the stage. I will miss him so much and hope he haunts me once in a while. But I will not summon him in the mirror! What a gift that Jordon Peele let us live again as lovers.”

Outside of on-camera work Todd recently voiced Venom for Sony and Playstation’s latest “Spider-man 2” video game. Todd also voiced “the fallen” in Michael Bay’s 2009 hit Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. If you follow him on social media you know in his spare time he smoked his weed, ate well, and spent time with fans.

He will truly be missed but his legacy and work ethic will live forever.

Doechii attends 3rd Annual Give Her FlowHERS Awards Gala

Source: Michael Buckner / Getty

It’s been a big year for TDE artist and Florida native Doechii, from critical acclaim to leading the ladies in rap nominations for the Grammys!

After storming the pop charts in March with her track Alter Ego ft. JT and Kaytranada, Doechii delivered one of the year’s most refreshing rap projects, Alligator Bites Never Heal.

The exciting lyrical juggernaut combines effortless wordplay with raw emotion and vulnerability like few in her generation. And it seems that the Grammy committee felt what she was putting down. Doechii is nominated in four categories: Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance, and Best Remixed Recording.

Doechii’s Dominance Is A Long Time Coming, Popping Out Like Labelmates Kendrick Lamar & SZA

Genre-bending and multifaceted, the southern rapper is poised to be as dominant as her label mate, Kendrick Lamar, in the world of hip-hop. TDE seems to have cracked the code on signing otherworldly talented and creative artists while allowing them to maintain their individuality and bloom on their own terms.

Last year, her label mate SZA, led all artists —men and women—with nine nominations for her long-awaited album S.O.S. She took the stage that night and went home with three gramophones, including Best R&B song for “Snooze.” Her loss to Taylor Swift for Album of the Year was heavily debated amongst music fans as well as industry insiders. However, the album has continued to break records including surpassing nine billion streams on Spotify.

Doechii will face off against Kendrick for Best Rap Performance as his victory song, “Not Like Us”, is also nominated in the stacked category. She’ll also contend against country music standout, Shaboozey, for Best New Artist. Whether she prevails in her four categories on music’s biggest night or not, it’s clear that the industry is sold on her being one of the most promising new acts around.

She’s also one of fashion’s newest darlings as brands like Thom Browne, Off-White, and Tommy Hilfiger all clamored to dress her in their threads during NYFW.

Rihanna brought her empire home with the launch of her Fenty brand in Barbados, and here’s why fans think she hinted at retirement from music: “God had other plans,” she said.

The Bajan baddie traded in back-to-back hits on the charts for Rih-lentless Fenty flourishing the past few years. On Nov. 7, it was a full-circle moment as Rihanna launched her brand in Barbados. Now, the Caribbean will have access to Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and the Fenty Eau de Parfum fragrance.

During a speech to mark the momentous occasion, fans thought she hinted at moving on to bigger and better things after her epic music career.

I always say music was the thing that got the attention, but God had other plans for me,”  she said.

That’s beautiful, but the way fans are starving for R9, they might send one of Latto’s shirts up to Big Sandals. Some are just happy she’s happy, while others are begging, “Don’t Stop The Music!”

“I was able to create in other ways that were very sincere, genuine, organic and authentic to the things that I love so it doesn’t even feel like a job. But when you bring it home,” she said to a cheering crowd, “I can express to you guys what this day means for me to be able to celebrate with the people that deserve it the most.”

Rihanna credited her Caribbean home with propelling her to the next level with strength and grace. She also said her home inspired all of the creativity behind her brand. The beauty mogul got emotional about how special it is to bring her hard work and success to her people.

On the red carpet, it was a family affair with Rihanna in the middle.

While the event marked a major milestone for the Anti singer, she didn’t completely close the door on music just yet. After recently naming her dream collaborator, Rihanna doubled down on why they’d make beautiful music together.

Rihanna Rih-flects On Bringing Fenty Home To The Caribbean, Why She Wants To Collab With Billie Eilish & What’s Next For Her

The night was about pretty much everything except her long-awaited return to music. Still, the note about God’s “other plans” seemed to confirm suspicions that the Bad Gal isn’t returning to the booth anytime soon. Between securing the billion-dollar bag and beautiful babies with A$AP Rocky, she sounds too booked, busy, and blissful for much else these days. However, Rihanna did explain why she named Billie Eilish as her dream collaboration.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Rihanna opened up about what the Fenty Caribbean launch means to her.

[embedded content]

“It’s very sentimental. It’s deeper. It means so much more, because this is the land that I was birthed on. This is the region, the entire Caribbean, we wear every Caribbean island on our back,” she told Scott Evans.

“We are rooting for the Caribbean always. And for me to come back home and launch a line that was inspired by my hometown from the jump, my first sight and idea of beauty was right here. So to be able to have the Barbadian people and the Caribbean people to have access to my line as freely as the rest of the world does, there’s so much pride that comes with that and it just feels right and it feels … about time,” she continued.

The new mom of two boys, RZA and Riot, would love to add a little girl to their family, but she’s not in a hurry anytime soon. She’s still busy with the holidays and creating new family traditions. With Halloween out of the way, it’s almost time for Thanksgiving in the U.S. with Rocky’s family. After that, Rih is ready for an all-Black Christmas!

“All of the characters are Black. Black Santas, Black nutcrackers, Black elves and we’re just gonna continue to make sure that they see themselves in whatever tradition that we create,” she said.

Despite the disappointment and debates sparked by Rihanna’s speech, she hasn’t announced retirement just yet. In fact, she doubled down on her desire to collaborate with Billie Eilish. The creative invitation went viral last month and put the “Munch” star in shock!

“Billie Eilish is the most anti, coolest girl ever. In my mind, she doesn’t listen to commercial music, you know? I feel like she’s just creating her diary vocally,” she gushed about her fellow Grammy winner. “You can just feel that she’s zoned in to who she is and what she’s experiencing and what she’s feeling, even if she doesn’t know what it is.”

Maybe the Navy’s chances of new Rihanna music haven’t sunk just yet. And Billie would make an exciting partner in crime and collaboration. Until that happens, her next releases will be the Fenty holiday bundles and, hopefully, more adorable family photos.

Congratulations to Rihanna on bringing Fenty home to Barbados and putting on for the Caribbean!

Wendy Osefo x Gizelle Bryant

Source: Phylicia J. L. Munn/Bravo / Bravo

Real Housewives of Potomac is well into a new season and it seems some old battles have been put to rest. For now, at least.

After four seasons of seemingly irreparable damage, cast members Dr. Wendy Osefo and Gizelle Bryant have buried the hatchet. The pair had a sit-down in episode two of season nine in which they hashed out the beef between them. And it seems like the love fest continues in the latest trailer for episode six.

In a game of “F—, Marry, Kill”, Wendy said she would do the deed with Gizelle.

“We’ve been at odds for so long, and there’s nothing better than makeup sex,” she said in her confessional.

With the removal of her bestie-in-bs, Robyn Dixon, Gizelle has been on an apology tour, making amends with several members of the cast she paid dust to in seasons past. She and Wendy took turns airing their grievances at a lunch that saw them finally able to be amicable.

“When I think about us, I have felt like, when you’re fine, you’re fine. When you’re angry, you’re coming at me very condescending,” Gizelle told Wendy. “There’s no room for friendship when you’re talking to someone in a demeaning way.”

Though Wendy was open to Gizelle’s opinion, she also noted that “it’s unfair to police how we respond to things, especially when someone came knocking at your door.” The doctor is not wrong when she’s right.

Though Wendy and Gizelle have been safe in the kumbaya circle of season nine, not all the ladies are just getting along. During celebrations for her 40th birthday, Wendy was subjected to a big clash between Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Mia Thornton, Keiarna Stewart and friend of the show, Jacqueline Blake.

Tempers flared and mud was slung but in the world of RHOP, it’s what they call fun.
