We’re back with another week of astrological forecasts, courtesy of our favorite — Psychic Zya.

Astro Overview:

This week we are still under the influence of Venus retrograding in Capricorn, Mercury retrograding in Aquarius, Mars going direct in Capricorn and Jupiter retrograding in Pisces. What this denotes for us collectively and individually includes themes of digging deep into our romantic lives- both the choices of partners and our behavior past, present and future. With Venus and Mars both stained in Capricorn – we will be forced at the same time to examine our material wealth as well as our relationship to the monetary. Many will find that they are ready for major career changes and with Jupiter in Pisces this a great time to do so!

Try to be cautious with your words as the fire of Mars and bluntness of Capricorn makes for some spicy tongues…lol.

Alrighty let’s get into these horoscopes!

CAPRICORN

With Venus (the planet of love)still retrograding your sign until month’s end and Mars (the planet of action) going direct in your sign as well as of Monday 1/24, you Cappy, most of all will feel the impact of these planetary stations. Expect delays that turn out to be blessings and unusually petty arguments both professionally and personally. Take this time to take objective stock of your love life and financial affairs. If you also have the opportunity, try to hold off any home projects until February.

Sweet Spot: Delays today will turn out to be future blessings. Stay calm and focused.

Red Flag: Petty arguments are all over the place! Take the high road and only respond from a centered and calm space.

Nicki Minaj is reportedly in the clear in regards to the harassment lawsuit brought forth against her by Jennifer Hough. New documents from the lawsuit have surfaced online from TheJasmineBRAND reportedly showing that Hough voluntarily dropped it, although Nicki’s husband’s case is still pending. So far, a reason has not been given as to why she was removed from the case.

Court documents received by TheJasmineBRAND confirm that the lawsuit was dismissed as Hough’s attorney revealed the status of Petty’s case in a statement.

In an exclusive statement from Jennifer’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, revealed “The case was voluntarily dismissed as to Nicki in NY.” He adds,“The case against Kenneth is ongoing. As for anything further concerning Nicki, stay tuned!”

In case you missed it, Minaj’s husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty is being sued by Jennifer Hough after she claimed that he and Minaj tried to intimidate her into silencing rape allegations against him from 1994. Hough claimed that Nicki hired associates to reach out and offer her $500,000 to rescind her story. In addition to that, Hough alleged that Nicki is affiliated with a blood gang subset allegedly running rampant in Queens, NY. Before dropping her Nicki lawsuit, Hough was seeking $20 Million on claims that she endured a “relentless campaign of bribery, intimidation, harassment, and stalking.”

Petty was convicted of attempted rape in 1995 and served four years in New York state prison. Petty previously alleged that Hough was a “willing participant.”

What are YOUR thought on Nicki being dropped from Hough’s harassment lawsuit?

Stylist to the stars Law Roach extended his enviable winning streak as the host of Grand Marnier’s exclusive Galerie event in Chelsea, NYC.

Known for his dazzling collaborations with Zendaya (and several other celebs), the renown image architect invited guests into the world of the iconic French cognac House with an immersive journey and intimate gallery experience.

The highlight was the introduction of Cocktail Couture – a “made to measure” approach to cocktail design driven by creatives who inspire.

Law worked with Grand Marnier to design his own drink called The Provocateur–a Grand Twist on the margarita that reflects his personal style, from the unique ginger turmeric syrup to the stylized presentation.

The cocktail was served exclusive in a private lounge entirely tailored to Law’s décor taste and his favorite Grand Twist: potato chips with caviar.

As part of the exquisite event, Grand Marnier made a donation to the Black Artists + Designers Guild to support creatives and artists in this space, a cause close to both Law and Grand Marnier’s hearts.

To make Law’s The Provocateur cocktail for your fancy holiday gathering, follow the recipe below:

Soulja Boy returns to The Breakfast Club to talk about all of the things in his life that have transpired since his last appearance.

The Millennium Tour 2021 - Atlanta, GA

Source: Prince Williams / Getty

Soulja Boy is one of the most hilarious people in our culture and any time he’s in front of a camera, it’s pure magic.

Before the coronavirus ruined our lives, the last viral interview we had was Soulja Boy on The Breakfast Club. He gave us so many gems and memes and even the “DRAKE?!?!?!” moment that will live on forever. Unfortunately, Soulja’s resurgence was cut short as he was locked up shortly after.

Now, Soulja is back and he’s on the Millennium Tour as his single “Rick and Morty” is performing well in the music streets. There isn’t a better time for him to drop back by The Breakfast Club and catch up on life.

Soulja was in his usual form and talked about any and everything. Of course, he spoke on his issues with Kanye West and hilariously asked how can Kanye take him off the album that he’s making, which is funny because “Donda” is literally Kanye’s album and he has creative control. Soulja admits that they are good and the text message Kanye posted was “real”, saying all he wanted was an apology.

Still despite that, he called out Ye and said that his “Yeezy” album was “trash.”

“Kanye, you drop the most trash shit, n****,” he said. “You ain’t never dropped a trash song in your life? So that motherf**** Yeezus album wasn’t trash?”

“So who am I to come to you and say, ‘Kanye, Yeezus was trash?’. … I’m not fixing to say that. I’m gonna give it a couple more listens [as opposed to] just publicly disrespecting somebody’s work of art,” he said.

He also broke down his recent beef with Young Dolph and Key Glock and admits it’s nothing major, but insists they are lying about being independent. He also goes on to talk about his business ventures and his upcoming movies.

You can catch all of that and more below.

For nearly a month, 14-year-old Jashyah Moore, of New Jersey has been missing and her family and community have been searching for her.

Jashyah Moore

Source: Facebook / Handout

Some of those searching for her are rightfully upset that when Black girls like Jashyah disappear, they don’t get the same national media attention that is granted to missing white women like Gabby Petito, the New York woman whose name and photo made national headlines just days after she was reported missing. While Petito was sadly found dead, Jashyah’s family is still holding on to hope that she will be returned home safely.

According to NBC 4 New York, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office has taken over the investigation into Jashya’s disappearance, and on Tuesday, authorities confirmed they are continuing the search for her and following up on multiple leads.

“Jashyah is a smart girl, she would not stay out, she would not go out or go off with anyone,” Jashyah’s mother, Jamie Moore, said during a press conference on Friday. “If anybody knows anything, please come forward. My baby is going to high school, she is a good girl. Please.”

“I feel like somebody has her against her will,” Moore continued. “That’s why she hasn’t called me. You don’t gotta tell us who you are, just don’t hurt my baby. Drop her off, drop her off at the police station.”

Moore said that on October 14, she sent her daughter to Poppie’s Deli on Central Avenue. Jashyah returned home fine but realized she didn’t have her credit card with her, so she left again to retrace her steps in order to find it. That was the last time her mother saw her, according to CBS News.

At one point, the search led to an apartment building where a woman claimed she might have seen Jashyah two weeks ago, but Moore told NBC she doesn’t believe that lead will pan out.

Last week, police said surveillance video from the day of her disappearance showed the teen entering the deli with an “older male” who paid for her items at the register, but according to East Orange Police Chief Phyllis Bindi, the video does not show them leaving together.

“The male on the video seen with Jashyah that day has been fully cooperative, giving full cooperation in this investigation,” Bindi said.

In addition to the older male, police also interviewed the teen’s stepfather, a former East Orange police officer who is involved in a domestic violence case against Jashyah.

According to NBC News, the girl’s aunt said that Yolanda Moore said that the stepdad had allegedly struck Jashyah and the teen’s mom allegedly received a letter in the mail that Jashyah was to testify before a grand jury. NBC News has not been able to verify this information.

Despite that, police said they do not think there’s a connection to the teen’s disappearance.

“The domestic violence case is proceeding against the defendant,” a spokesperson for the office said, reports NBC. “We are aware of the fact that the mother reported the daughter missing. The missing person’s case is being handled by municipal authorities in East Orange. At this point, the domestic violence assault and the status of the missing person do not appear to be related; however, it is being monitored by law enforcement.”

There’s currently a $15,000 reward being offered to anyone who provided information that leads to Jashyah being returned home. The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office has also sent word out through the media that authorities are looking for any information including descriptions by anyone who has seen her as to what he was wearing and other details that would help in the search.

In fact, it doesn’t appear to be lost on the prosecutor’s office that if Jashyah was a white woman named Gabby, the search may have yielded better results by now.

“We know that Gabby Petito, which was a very notorious case that was constantly in the news, did yield results and information,” said Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II.

Members of the community who have joined Moore in her relentless search for her daughter also noticed a double standard in media attention.

“We want that exposure for our babies that are going missing in our communities as well,”  volunteer Yolanda Johnson told NBC. “We don’t get that.”

According to CBS, Jashyah “is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing khakis, black boots and a black jacket. Anyone with information about her is asked to call police at 877-847-7432 or 973-266-504.”

We hope with all our hearts that Jashyah is found safe and is returned home. As her aunt, Yolanda Aguilera, told NBC, “We have to protect the black community, we have to protect black girls—especially the most vulnerable among us.”

We’re back with another week of astrological forecasts, courtesy of our favorite — Psychic Zya.

Astro Overview: ISH JUST GOT REAL!

Heaviest influences this week will be Venus in Capricorn and Mars in Scorpio.

This combo will be making us goal-oriented and cleaning house both in our professional and love lives.

While Mars pushes us over the goal lines to finish strong professionally in 2022 but also really highlights the dead spots in our romantic and emotional lives.

Venus in Capricorn pushes us to get serious about our finances and boosting our relations with business partners and/or co-workers will be easier than usual under this influence.

We start to revaluate our connections, reliability, and faithfulness and start expressing our emotions authentically but carefully as Capricorn never jumps into anything without a strategy.

The bottom line astrological themes will be powering through the things that matter while discarding the things that don’t. Lots of speaking up for one’s self and just being honest about the roles we play and how that affects our self-esteem as well as how those roles intersect with other folks and situations in our life.

Alrighty let’s get into it…

CAPRICORN

Oooh Capricorn love is in the air for you this week. It’s quietly known among the Capricorn community that they are low-key highly sexual and sensual beings much like Scorpio. With that in mind, choose wisely who you engage with under the sheets and with your hearts as the planetary influence may have you discarding your normal strategic nature. This week Venus really heats up in your sign triggering singles to clean up lovers and no label relationships that are running stagnant and label-less while getting real with themselves about what you truly want. As for those who are partnered many of you or your partners will be pushed gently towards taking things to the next level – so expect New Year’s engagements and baby announcements at the top of 2022.

Red Flag: Venus has you feeling frisky. Don’t let your hormones get you caught up — as it will be hard to get out of the situation. Watch out for unexpected pregnancies.

Sweet Spot: This is a great time for those of you with unhealthy attachment styles and childhood wounds to get therapy.

Any crime an adult commits against a child should be viewed as especially heinous, but there are certain abuses that are so sad, shockingly horrific and unthinkable that there isn’t any reaction that feels dramatic enough to appropriately express the rage and heartbreak one should feel after learning of them.

In Harris County, Texas, two Black boys reportedly watched their brother be beaten to death by their mother’s white boyfriend. Not only was a child killed gruesomely while his siblings suffered the trauma of witnessing it, but the surviving children were reportedly abandoned to live in the Houston-area apartment alone with their brother’s decomposing body for nearly a year, according to authorities.

Click 2 Houston reported that 32-year-old Brian Coulter is charged with murder for the death of 35-year-old Gloria Williams’ eight-year-old son Kendrick Lee, who he is accused of beating in the face, feet, buttocks, back, legs and groin until the life left the innocent child’s body.

Gloria Williams And Brian Coulter

Source: Harris County Sheriff’s Office / Handout

Williams, who by all accounts deserves no one’s sympathy and much of the blame for what happened to her son, was charged with injury to a child by omission, injury to a child causing serious bodily harm, and tampering with evidence.

The couple was taken into custody last Tuesday after the two witnesses, the 10-year-old and seven-year-old sons of Williams, described to law enforcement what happened to their brother and that they too were often physically beaten and abused by Coulter. The children said that after Coulter killed Kendrick, which investigators believe happened in November of last year, he laid the boy’s body out and covered it.

According to court documents, Williams previously saw her boyfriend punching Kendrickwho, again, was eightin the face and she stopped him from continuing to beat him. The next morning, she reportedly found him dead under a blue blanket and confronted Coulter who told her he was sorry and that “he lost it” and had continued punching the child until he “went to sleep.”

Not only did Williams fail to protect her children from her horrifically abusive boyfriend, but, according to investigators, five of six months after Kendrick was killed, she and Coulter moved out of the apartment leaving the surviving children behind to live in squalor with the dead child’s remains still there. Those children who were left behind included Williams’ 15-year-old son who, after nearly a year, was able to overcome his fear and trauma at least enough to call the Harris County Sheriff’s Office on November 23, the day authorities found Kendrick’s remains.

“For many agency veterans, it was the most disturbing case they had worked in their entire law enforcement career,” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said. “It seemed too horrific to be real.”

Deputies said the boys appeared malnourished and had physical injuries. The 10-year-old was reportedly punched in the jaw by Coulter during Kendrick’s killing and had sustained a serious injury that will need surgery, according to Gonzalez. All three boys were taken to the Texas Children’s Hospital to be treated.

Gonzalez said the children were left to fend for themselves in an unfurnished apartment with no beds or blankets, but plenty of flies and cockroaches. He also said there was evidence the children had been locked in different parts of the home at some point. None of the children had attended school since May 2020.

If the crimes committed against these three children weren’t egregious enough, Coulter and Williams were both granted bail as if either of them should ever see the light of day from outside of a prison cell ever again. They’re both still currently in lockup, but Coulter’s bail was set at $1,000,000 while Williams’ was set at $900,000.

In fact, according to Click 2, deputies questioned the couple on Monday, the day after the discovery of Kendrick’s body, and for unfathomable reasons, they were released later that day before being taken into custody the next day.

Does literally anyone care about the lives and wellbeing of these Black children?

In a recent interview with KHOU 11, Williams admitted to moving with Coulter to another apartment 25 miles away from where she left her grieving and severely traumatized children, but she claimed, as if it matters, that she “checked on them every two weeks.”

When asked if she realized her son was dead, the mother who had a total of six children said “no,” but according to court documents, “investigators said Williams altered, destroyed and concealed Kendrick’s body to get rid of evidence,” KHOU reported.

“My prayer is that the remaining children find the love, the support and the protection that they so desperately needed and deserved and that they have been missing for so long and I hope that their future is better than their past,” Gonzalez said.

There are no words for crimes like these.

If you let Soulja Boy tell it, he’s the first rapper ever to shoot his shot at Saweetie on Twitter. Will he a get a response or will the “ICY GIRL” curve him?

The Millennium Tour - Detroit, MI

Source: Scott Legato / Getty

Soulja Boy took to Twitter Friday afternoon posting a simple question. “What a Ni**a gotta do to have @Saweetie.”

Of course fans weighed in on his antics and responded to the tweet by saying “Have 8 figures” and “Buy her a Bentley and never repossessing it.”

While Saweetie has yet to respond to Soulja’s advances, she does appear to be single. Since confirming her split from Quavo back in March, the West Coast rapper shot down rumors that her and the Migos rapper were back together in August.

This isn’t the first time Soulja has made headlines this week. He started by dropping his new single “Squid Game,” which features him rapping over the Netflix show’s opening theme then went on to unleash a string of tweets directed at other rappers. “Tyga fell off,” he tweeted on Thursday, followed by a similar tweet directed at Famous Dex.

Next up was YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s fanbase. “YB fans gay af,” he wrote to set off the beef.

Soulja continued to toss insults at YoungBoy, writing, “YB fell off. YB need to make better music, all that crying and whining on the track. Nobody wanna hear that shit.”

What in the world set Soulja Boy off to do this, we may never know. However, we’ll keep you posted on Saweetie’s response!

Would you be here for this new couple? Is Soulja Boy even Saweetie’s type? Let us know your thoughts below!

In honor of National Plus Size Appreciation Day, we compiled the baddest body posi baddies who consistently slay the gram and everything else they do.

The special day was founded by Women Rock Inc. to break the social stigma surrounding plus-size people while making them feel good about their bodies.

Refusing to allow bullies and trolls to dim her light is Grammy-winning Pop star Lizzo who continues to inspire millions of young people to love themselves and their body despite endless negativity on the internet.

In most cases, it’s easy to ignore the nastiness on social media that eventually got to Lizzo after the release of her long-awaited collab with Cardi B.

The songstress got emotional on Instagram Live, admitting that all the negativity she receives was taking a toll on her.

“For the most part, it doesn’t hurt my feelings. I don’t care,” she said during the IG Live. “I just think when I’m working this hard, my tolerance gets lower, my patience is lower, I’m more sensitive and it gets to me.”

When a fan tweeted a clip from the IG Live, her friend and collaborator Cardi B quickly came to her defense.

“When you stand up for yourself they claim your problematic & sensitive. When you don’t they tear you apart until you crying like this,” the rapper wrote. “Whether you skinny, big, plastic, they going to always try to put their insecurities on you.Remember these are nerds looking at the popular table.”

At this point, we need more friends and advocates like Cardi who embody the very essence of National Plus Size Appreciation Day.

More tiddays, more treats

Back at it again with more tidday meats and treats amid an eventful week dominated by loud chitter-chatter over Rick Ross’ “measley” child support order, Gabby Union’s ongoing TMI tirade, Wendy Williams pushing her return back (AGAIN), Porsha leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta, Lashana Lynch slaying the “No Time To Die” world premiere, Idris reigniting Black Bond buzz and the series premiere of “BMF” featuring Kash Doll’s thang-thangs and Lil Zane.

As expected, we’ve compiled swoon-worthy stunners (and our thirst-trappin’ celebrity faves) with Jayda Cheaves making her return to the series on her 24th birthday!

In celebration of her special day, she launched her inaugural apparel line Waydamin Merch featuring bodysuits, shapewear, sweatsuits, two-piece sets, and swimwear.

It didn’t take long for her loyal fans to snatch up signature pieces in the first of many birthday blesses that will certainly include lavish gifts from her baby daddy Lil Baby.
