Good Samaritan Killed Inside Florida Waffle House

You KNOW when both Florida AND Waffle House are in a headline that some f**ks**t is afoot.

According to the Gainesville Sun, 25-year-old Ezekiel Luke Hicks is the primary suspect in the murder of a generous man named Craig Arttez Brewer. The 41-year-old Brewer was shot to death inside a Waffle House early Sunday morning where he was paying for customers’ food and giving out $20 bills.

How could this have possibly gone left you ask? Welp…

Brewer’s generosity didn’t extend to one woman in particular who became angry that she wasn’t the beneficiary of a random act of kindness. An argument ensued and Hicks stepped in to confront Brewer. After yet another argument, Hicks left the restaurant to get a gun, the two men caught yet ANOTHER fade prior to Hicks shooting Brewer multiple times including once in the head.

Says sheriff’s Lt. Brett Rhodenizer:

“The evidence in the case is fairly straightforward. We’re working with the state attorney. It’s pretty obvious. We have on video what happened,” Rhodenizer said. “There was at least one gunshot to the head but the medical examiner will offer authoritative information on that.

“What we’re trying to find out in the days ahead is if this was truly a verbal argument that turned into a murder case or if there is something missing there.”

Hicks has been charged with first degree murder.

Only in bum a$$ Florida. SMH.

Magic Johnson Quits On Live TV

Magic Johnson has been the President Of Basketball Operations for the Los Angeles Lakers for the last few years, but that time is over. The legendary Laker called an impromptu press conference on Tuesday night that no one saw coming: he quit. Live on TV. Then he proceeded to speak for 40 whole minutes off the cuff. He didn’t even tell his boss that he was quitting before having the press conference!

That’s some RNS right there. That’s how you quit a Subway, not the Lakers. His comments have sparked some of the most hilarious jokes and memes on the ‘net. Poor Magic. Peep the comedy.

R& B Singer Launches New Clothing Line, “Jeff Redd Apparel”

He’s known for looking dapper on stage, and now New Jack Swing singer Jeff Redd is bringing his sharp suits to the masses.

The singer, known for his hit “You Called and Told Me,” from the “Strictly Business” soundtrack, has launched his own line of custom made suits, called “Jeff Redd Apparel.”

Redd said his look was inspired by the performers he watched growing up, like The Temptations, James Brown and Jackie Wilson.

“Those guys were always dressed on stage, and I wanted to bring that concept to my apparel,” Redd told BOSSIP. “I’m just taking a page out of the 60s and 70s when guys would get dressed up…It’s really about bring the man back to being a gentleman.”

But Redd said the line will also be affordable, with suit jackets costing around $125 and entire suits retailing for about $200.

“With custom made, you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg for it,” Redd said. “Everything for me doesn’t always have to be overpriced.”

The Mount Vernon-raised crooner said he’s getting the clothing line for previews later on this summer and plans to launch it through his website in the fall.

He also said he’d like to eventually branch out into accessories and skin care.

Tiara Clowned For Thirst

One of the biggest storylines from this season of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta is the return of Scrapp. He’s been in jail for the last few years and is spending his time in a halfway house. The whole time he’s been out, Tiara has been thirsting to get him back, even going so far as to present him with a key to her house and her no-no place. Scrapp has been reluctant to get back with her, though, because he’s got his eye (and other body parts) on Moniece.

When Tiara found out she started fighting! What the hell is going on? Twitter is not here for her thirst, drama and jealousy.

Burger King Ad With Chopsticks Sparks Anger In Asian Community

At this point, in 2019, we have to assume that any company who produces a racist ad or product is doing it on purpose specifically to cause outrage.

After ALL the companies who have gotten in serious trouble over racial insensitivity over the past few years, there’s absolutely NO excuse.

Enter Burger King, according to TheDrum, a New Zealand branch of the fast food chain is currently getting cooked online for the follow ad for their new “Vietnamese Sweet Chilli Tendercrisp burger”

Burger King, unsurprisingly, has yet to comment on the backlash or apologize. These companies are dumb as hell. SMH.

The Problem With Kodak Black Backlash

Kodak Black, the man who is facing sexual assault charges, harassed Young MA and made disgusting comments about dark-skinned women, is facing more backlash than ever before for his comments about Lauren London. If you missed it, he was on IG Live talking about how much time he’d give the recently widowed actress before he’d, um, have a relationship with her.

The comments have rightfully garnered a ton of backlash from the likes of T.I., The Game and DJs across the country who are banning Kodak’s music.

But here’s the problem:

Kodak Black has been trash pretty much since he hopped on the music scene, treating women like garbage (and, again, he has a sexual assault case pending). But THIS is what gets him out the paint? The argument being made here is that these men are more concerned with defending Nipsey Hussle as a man than Lauren London herself. Fair or no? Take a look at the debate raging…

Apparently, awaiting trial for criminal sexual abuse charges isn’t enough to stop R.Kelly fans from paying their hard earned money to see him in person. On Saturday, the singer made an appearance at Dirty South Lounge in Springfield, Illinois and was paid an undisclosed amount to hang out and mingle with the partygoers.

Before the appearance, Kelly took to social to beg the media to take it easy on him for hitting the club and making money the only way he knows how.

“I got an event to do tonight, and I want the media to just take it easy on me, man. This is how I gotta get paid now for right now. So I gotta go do this event, and it’s a party, so when you see me in the club with a couple of drinks in my hand, and chilling — please, take it easy yall.”

This marks one of Kelly’s first public appearances since his explosive, viral interview with Gayle King. He’s still currently under investigation regarding the criminal sexual abuse charges involving underage girls.
