Producer Said French Montana Coopted His Beat For Rapper’s Hit Song

An Illinois producer claims that French Montana straight up stole his beat and used it for the song “Ain’t Worried About Nothin’” when he was still a teenager.

Eddie Lee Richardson aka “Hotwire The Producer,” sued French Montana for copyright infringement and more earlier this month, alleging the rapper used his work without permission or payment.

Richardson said back in 2012 when he was just 16, he made a song called “Hood Pushin’ Weight,” and registered the song with the U.S. Copyright Office. He said he uploaded the song to site SoundClick, a music sharing website and distribution platform.

The plaintiff said French then took the song from the site, and the following year, released “Ain’t Worried About Nothin.’” He said the songs were identical, save for the lyrics and vocals.

The producer believes French banked more than $5 million from the song, and he wants money damages that equal the amount of profit grossed from the single.

It’s not the first time that French Montana has been in hot water over accusations that he stole music. We exclusively revealed that another producer sued him for the very same thing. In 2017 Morocco-born producer Assil Youssef sued him for using his beat for “Lockjaw” (featuring Kodak Black) without his permission. That case was later dismissed.

An Officer Beats And Bloodies A Teen After Responding To A McDonald’s Disturbance

The cops are once again completely out their minds with a horrific act against a TEENAGER.

According to 7News Miami, cellphone video footage captured an officer pummeling a kid’s head against concrete when they were called their to simply break up a fight.

The incident happened outside of a McDonald’s in Tamarac, Florida near JP Taravella High School.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance outside the fast-food spot just before 3 p.m. on Thursday.

The teenager who recorded the cellphone footage said that students from the high school had gathered at the McDonald’s to witness a planned fight.

However, deputies ended the fight after coming to the scene only to use excessive force in the process. In the clip, the responding deputy pepper sprays one teen before holding them to the ground and banging their head against the pavement. The officer even starts punching him in the side of his head.

“What are you doing?! He’s bleeding!” students can be heard screaming in the video.

One concerned witness, Jordan Payne, told 7News that the deputy went way too far.

“Is that a fair way to treat a 13, 14-year-old, however old he may be? That’s a grown man,” said Payne. “You can’t treat a little kid like that. Come on, now. Punching him while he’s on the floor? At that point, you already had him detained. Why go further?”

Two juveniles were taken into custody, according to officials, and it’s currently unclear whether they’ll be charged. The third teen who was pepper sprayed was transported to Broward Health Coral Springs to be checked out.

The kid who was pepper sprayed and bloodied by the officer is supposedly named Lucca and a #JusticeForLucca campaign has started to bring charges against the officer.

You can witness the despicable video for yourself below. Warning, it’s very graphic.

Brittney Taylor Snitches On Remy Ma For Puffing Up Her Eye

“Love and Hip Hop New York” star Brittney Taylor is causing a frenzy on social media after blasting Remy Ma for mangling her eye. The rapper showed off what appears to be a shiner covered in makeup, insinuating in her caption that it was caused by felonious rapper Remy Ma.

According to a TMZ report, Brittney told cops she was attacked by Remy after she entered the backstage area at Irving Plaza.

Brittney claims they “exchanged words” over an issue involving Remy’s stepdaughter, Dejanae, that happened a few weeks ago. Taylor says Remy threw the punch and accused her of knowing about the attack on Dejanae.

Brittney went to the hospital for treatment and then filed a police report.

If Remy Ma DID put hands on Brittney, that was mean big trouble for the star. Folks are going HAM in the comments, calling Brittney a “snitch” and dogging Remy Ma was being “so DUMB” if she did assault her. Folks aren’t even sure of what they’re really looking at, because Taylor isn’t even being clear about how her puffy eye occurred in her caption.

So, here am I on my way to a very important meeting and it’s hard to even focus because of what occurred last night. I didn’t wanna bring it to social media because Its pretty embarrassing and not a good look tbh. I tried my best to cover it up with make up and move on but that still didn’t work. My Question is @remyma why did you really do this? #WHATHAPPENEDTOWOMANEMPOWERMENT #BlackLove? Smh 🤦🏾‍♀️

Does this look like Brittney was pummeled in her eye to YOU?

Do you think Remy was DUMB enough to violate probation over this girl?

Charlize Theron Talks About Supporting Her Daughters

It’s been years now since Charlize Theron stopped referring to her eldest adopted child as her son and in a report published by Daily Mail, Theron reveals Jackson was the same age as her sister August is now – just three year’s old, when she revealed that she is a girl — not a boy, despite the body she was born in.

‘She looked at me when she was three years old and said: “I am not a boy!”,’ said the star, when asked.

She continued: ‘So there you go! I have two beautiful daughters who, just like any parent, I want to protect and I want to see thrive.

‘They were born who they are and exactly where in the world both of them get to find themselves as they grow up, and who they want to be, is not for me to decide.

‘My job as a parent is to celebrate them and to love them and to make sure that they have everything they need in order to be what they want to be.

‘And I will do everything in my power for my kids to have that right and to be protected within that.’

We love that she’s so supportive of her kids. We just caught a press screening of her new movie “Long Shot” which also stars Seth Rogan and it was SO GOOD — not even kidding — one of the funniest movies we’ve seen in a long time — like “Something About Mary” levels of funny.

For Discussion: How Do We Tackle Violent Crime In The Black Community?

Reggie Bush tackled this issue of violence in the Black community on “Speak For Yourself” just days after Nipsey Hussle was murdered. Since then, his answers have been circulating the internet with added commentary.

The question was “what can we do to reduce violence in the Black community?”

Reggie answered:

The foundation of why I wanted to be great on the field was because I wanted to make my dad jealous. I had this resentment and this aggression that I grew up with towards my real dad. I realized my dad never had his dad in his life. My dad just met his dad for the first time five years ago [at 53].

To me, we gotta get back to the foundation at home with the parenting. A lot of my boys and guys I knew in the NFL didn’t have their dad growing up. Football became my father for me.

A good start is getting back to the foundation. If you start there with the parenting — not having a man in your life to show you how to be a man has significant effects.

Reggie says he’s speaking from his experience and makes his point.

But, where do YOU stand on the issue?

$1.9 Million Pledged To Burned Louisiana Churches

The three black churches burned in Louisiana as part of a hate crime are gettings some much-needed assistance. After donations poured in for Notre Dame Cathedral following that catastrophic fire, several Americans including Hillary Clinton pointed out that there were churches on our home turf that could use help as well.

As previously reported three historically Black churches were set ablaze within a 10-day span in the Louisiana parish of St. Landry. A sheriff’s deputy’s son, Holden Matthews, was arrested on arson and hate crimes charges.

Now in the wake of the Notre Dame blaze, a GoFundMe campaign seeking donations for the churches went from only around $50,000 to more than $1.9 million. The current number as of today, April 18, 2019 is $1,900,770.

Donors commented that they could give “at least $50 to the churches instead of Notre Dame” and some noted that the churches “shouldn’t get lost” in response to the cathedral fire.
NBC reports that the money is to be distributed equally among the three churches, which were all a century old.

“It gives you a new hope in society,” said Gerald Toussaint, the pastor at one of the churches, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. “It gives you a new hope in people because it shows a lot of people have a good heart.”

Nicholas Partridge Suing TI For Intellectual Property Theft Over “Bankroll Mafia”

A Georgia man is taking T.I. to court for allegedly stealing his idea for his artist group and album, “Bankroll Mafia.”

Nicholas Partridge sued earlier T.I. for theft of intellectual property for allegedly co-opting the name “Bankroll Mafia” and is demanding $10 million for his loss, according to the suit, which was obtained by BOSSIP.

Partridge said he came up with the name and idea for “Bankroll Mafia” while he was locked up for a few months in 2014 in the Gwinnett County Jail. He said that when jail staff put him in protective custody, he’d spend the day drawing and created the “Bankroll Mafia” brand and company, his suit says. But he said when he was released in October of that year, he saw that T.I. had allegedly taken it for his own use.

T.I. released the album, “Bankroll Mafia” in 2016 as part of a supergroup he created with Young Thug, Shad da God, PeeWee Roscoe, Lil Duke and London Jae. The group released songs including “Bankrolls on Deck.”

Partridge said he never gave the “Whatever You Like” rapper permission to use the name and he’s suffered massive financial losses as a result.

T.I. had not responded to the suit as of April 16.
