Actor John Wesley Passes Away At Age 72

John Wesley, Vietnam War vet and actor on 90s sitcoms such as Fresh Prince and Martin, has passed away at age 70 according to the NYDailyNews.

Wesley, a Louisiana native, reportedly died in Los Angeles after an extended bout with multiple myeloma as confirmed by his manager Gerry Pass.

Wesley studied classical acting and earned a master degree in fine arts from the University of California in San Diego, he told Ron Brewington on “The Actor’s Choice.”

He served in the army during the Vietnam War and garned his first credited role playing a cop in a 1963 episode of “My Three Sons.”

The classically trained actor (master degree in fine arts from the University of California San Diego) played a character named “Dr. Hoover” in a hilariously CLASSIC episode of Fresh Prince that you can watch below.

Wesley told Ron Brewington, host of “The Actor’s Choice”, that comedy had always been a tool he used to break down the barriers that he felt white powerbrokers put up against Black actors.

“That’s been my tactic over the years,” he said. “This is a really tricky place where we’re at now. Because the guys who are the guys who guard the door are still mostly white males with power. And you’ve got to get on their good side to get these jobs.”

It wasn’t just white folks who found Wesley entertaining, we did too and we are appreciative of the talent that he shared with us.

Khloe Kardashian Wants Jordyn And Tristan To Move On And Be Successful

Are y’all still paying attention to the drama between Khloe Kardashian, baby daddy Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods?

Khloe recently linked up with Ryan Seacrest Friday September 6 for an interview on his “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” show and discussed the situation, which she says she’s now moved on from:

“I’m not someone who holds a grudge. If I do that, it’s only going to affect me,” she explained. “That chapter is closed for me. I want all of us to move on and to be happy, successful people. I just want everyone to just be better people with each day. That’s genuinely how I feel.”

What do you think about Khloé’s apologies comment:

“I know everybody makes mistakes. I think it’s how you handle it, and I think apologies need to be as loud as your disrespect was or to me, it’s not sincere. I’m forgiving. I’m forgiven.”

Seems like all really isn’t forgiven if she doesn’t feel Tristan or Jordyn have apologized loudly enough.

One thing that can be said about Khloé is that at least her focus is in the right place — her daughter True. She also spoke with Ryan Seacrest about her decision to have Tristan at True’s first birthday party.

“True’s birthday was just a couple weeks after all of that stuff happened, so everything was really raw and fresh,” she said in the interview. “You’re going to see that in the first episode, really how we even came to the point where I even invited Tristan to her first birthday.”

“I always wanted that to be obviously a Mommy and Daddy thing,” she said. “In my family, it is everyone who is going through this breakup. So I knew in my family it was going to be a lot of high tension, but I still wanted to do what was best for True.”

She’s right — True shouldn’t have to suffer just because her dad is a ho cheater.

Daycare Worker Arrested For Suffocating 4-Month-Old Baby

Tragedy has struck a family in Delaware after a daycare worker was seen allegedly suffocating a child to death on video. 19-year-old Dejoynay Ferguson “placed her hands over the victim’s mouth and nose and intentionally restricted her breathing until she became unresponsive,” Delaware State Police said in a statement Friday.

According to Delaware Online, the death occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning and there is a surveillance video of the incident.

While wearing latex gloves, Ferguson picks up the 4-month-old child by the front of her shirt and place the baby on a changing table, according to court documents. The young woman could then be seen putting her hands on the child’s face for more than three minutes. After she removed her hands, the child was “unresponsive and motionless”. She then took the child and placed her in a crib, police said.

20 minutes after the child became unresponsive, a call to police was made by the daycare owner. Initially, the worker told police that she only “grabbed” the child because they became “fussy”.

Dejoynay Ferguson was charged with first-degree murder this week.
