London On Da Track produces many things; Hip-hop, R&B, and children, and now one of his exes is accusing him of being an absentee dad, again.

Eboni Ivori recently took to Instagram with more allegations of child abandonment which led to a quick shade trade between London and his other baby’s mother, Summer Walker.

London On Da Track and his children’s mothers have always had a sordid history and the issues between him and Eboni have often played out in public on social media. The two share a daughter, Paris, but Mom states that Dad has not been a big part of her life. Since the music producer gained recognition, Eboni has often alleged that London is an absent father. Now, the mother of one is fed up again.

Over the weekend, Eboni posted pics on her InstaStory of forlorn children captioned with allegations of London’s absent behavior.

“My lil girl waiting on her dad since last Christmas,” she captioned one picture.

“Another pic of my lil girl waiting for her dad on her birthday last year,” she added on a different post.

The mother also stated that her daughter Paris did not have the opportunity to spend Father’s Day with her dad, and she hadn’t seen him since December. Eboni is not the only one accusing London of bad fathering, however, despite her previous issues with Eboni, Summer Walker entered the chat.

Summer Walker Seemingly Agrees With Claims That London On Da Track Is An Absent Father

If having one baby mama call you out isn’t bad enough, Summer Walker joined the conversation. After TheShadeRoom reported Eboni’s posts, Walker hopped in the comments to say;

“Same,” with an eye-rolling emoji.

Though London didn’t respond to Eboni, he took the time to reply to Walker.

“Which baby dady u talking bout?” he asked with a crying face emoji.

Walker did not respond, but her ex, Larry Williams aka Lvrd Pharoh, had time to answer his question. The rapper hopped in TheShadeRoom‘s comments and revealed that he is with the twins that he and Walker welcomed together.

“I got mines with me right this second! Leave the REAL FATHERS out of the internet s***,” he wrote.

As BOSSIP reported, Walker and Williams began dating shortly after her relationship with London ended. Walker soon became pregnant with twins but they split before the babies were born.

London On Da Track has not publicly responded to Eboni, Summer, or Larry further. He also has not addressed the claims of being an absent father.

A significant development has occurred in the Tyre Nichols case.

US-POLICE-JUSTICE-DEMO

Source: JOSEPH PREZIOSO / Getty

According to Huff Post, after initially pleading not guilty, former Memphis police officer Emmitt Martin III has pleaded guilty to federal charges of excessive use of force and conspiracy to tamper with a witness.

Martin, one of five officers charged in connection with Nichols’ death, now faces up to 40 years in prison. This plea is a critical point in the ongoing pursuit of justice for Tyre Nichols, who died after a brutal encounter with police in January 2023.

[Read more about the events leading to Tyre Nichols’ death in our previous coverage]

This plea comes ahead of Martin’s state trial, where he faces even more serious charges, including second-degree murder and aggravated assault. The significance of this federal plea cannot be overstated, as it not only reflects Martin’s acknowledgment of his wrongful actions as the second guilty plea received in this case but also sets a precedent for the remaining officers yet to face trial.

The legal ramifications of this plea will undoubtedly play a critical role in the upcoming state proceedings, where the Nichols family and their supporters are demanding full accountability.

Ben Crump’s Call for Accountability

Following Martin’s plea, civil rights attorney Ben Crump, attorney Antonio Romanucci, and Tyre Nichols’ parents reacted with a powerful message. Nichols’ family released a statement emphasizing the importance of this admission while reminding the public that justice is far from complete.

“The family is relieved that another officer has finally admitted his responsibility for this heinous act,” reads an official statemeht. “His admission of guilt to federal charges is a crucial component to accountability, although state charges remain, in addition to our civil action. This is another step in a long road to justice for Tyre.”

Though the Nichols family grieves the loss of Tyre, this plea is a partial victory in their ongoing battle for justice, their statement also underscores the need for broader accountability, particularly within the Memphis Police Department’s SCORPION Unit.

“Martin acted in concert with the others as part of a SCORPION Unit culture of inflicting harm on citizens of Memphis. Martin pleading to his role and responsibility in Tyre’s murder is not enough. We urge the other officers involved in his death to confront their actions and take responsibility. We remain fiercely committed to holding all officers and the City of Memphis accountable for Tyre’s tragic and unnecessary death.”

A Long Road Ahead

The Nichols family, supported by Ben Crump and Antonio Romanucci, remains steadfast in their pursuit of justice.

While Martin’s plea represents a significant step forward, it is clear that the journey is far from over. Huff Post states that the upcoming state trials of the remaining officers—Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, and Justin Smith—are expected to be closely watched as they could further shape the legal landscape surrounding this case.

The more details are released in this case, the more the Memphis community and beyond is shaking.  Huff Post reports that the U.S. Department of Justice has launched an investigation into whether the City of Memphis has engaged in discriminatory policing practices, a move that could lead to significant changes in law enforcement protocols nationwide.

Despite these federal efforts, local attempts to reform policing, such as Memphis’ city council’s initiative to overhaul traffic stop procedures, have faced resistance from state Republicans, highlighting the challenges of enacting meaningful change.

The Nichols family and their legal team are determined to ensure that Tyre’s death leads to lasting reform. Ben Crump’s words, echoed by Tyre’s grieving parents, are a reminder that while this plea is a step toward justice, the fight is far from over.

During the legal process, the focus now shifts to the remaining officers and the systemic issues within the Memphis Police Department that allowed this tragedy to occur.

It shook the world to witness black officers do this to another black man. The story of Tyre Nichols, a young man who lost his life at the hands of those sworn to protect him—, who look like him—remains a powerful call for accountability and change. It’s daunting.

The relationship Nicki Minaj has with her fanbase certainly is one of a kind, and one angry Barb is taking legal action against her.

The 2024 Met Gala Celebrating

Source: Theo Wargo/GA / Getty

One fan, in particular, is upset with the Queens native after she allegedly publicly humiliated him by calling him a “mentally unstable stalker,” which has led to the fan filing a lawsuit.

According to reports from TMZ, Minaj was named as a defendant in the suit filed by Tameer Peak in Los Angeles Superior Court. In his complaint, Tameer refers to himself as one of Nicki’s most dedicated supporters for the past 15 years, even claiming he helped her promote her 2023 project Pink Friday 2.

In the suit, Peak goes on to explain that in 2017, the rapper went through her “Nicki hate train” phase, which consisted of her accusing fans, like Tameer, of being paid moles sent to sabotage her. Because of this paranoia, he claims Minaj publicly ridiculed him, inviting him to her hotel on one occasion to embarrass him in front of 100,000 viewers on Instagram Live.

The documents also claim that Nicki mistreated him during a Super Bowl weekend event in 2020 when her husband, Kenneth Petty, battered him. Peak alleges that Nicki later referred to the incident in a DM, confirming that it happened.

Tameer goes on to claim that Minaj also targeted him on X during several Stationhead sessions while interacting live with fans.

Nicki allegedly wrote, “It’s clear they’re not necessarily, you know, a full basket umm at the picnic,” during one session, which Peak took that to mean he was mentally unstable. In another, he says Minaj accused him of being “one sandwich short of a picnic” and receiving a check from the government, implying he was on welfare.

With these claims, Peak is suing Nicki Minaj for $5 million in damages for reputational harm, emotional distress, and financial loss.

In response to the lawsuit, Nicki’s attorney Judd Burstein sent a statement to TMZ, saying, “Mr. Peak has been harassing Nicki on social media for years on end to no avail.”

“He has now graduated to seeking to shake her down financially with manifestly false allegations and legally frivolous claims,” Burstein continued. “He will regret having gone down this disreputable road when he is forced to pay her legal fees as required by California law.”

Funnily enough, some Beyoncé fans might recognize the Barb suing Nicki. As revealed in a Complex interview last year, Tameer Peak dressed up as an alien and attended multiple shows throughout Bey’s Renaissance Tour.

He attended so many shows in his Alien Superstar-inspired costume that he even got acknowledged by Bey on stage.

“You’ve been to a lot of shows and you are committed, and you’re killing this, superstar,” she said during the show.

Hey, nobody can say Tameer’s not dedicated!

Donald Trump Kamala Harris

The Democratic National Convention was a spectacle of epic proportions, and it appears that it is having quite an effect on 34-time convicted felon Donald John Trump.

For weeks now, there have been questions in the media about whether or not Trump would follow through on his previously agreed-upon presidential debate with then-candidate President Joe Biden. Biden and Trump were scheduled to face off on Sept. 10 on ABC. However, it appears now that Trump is getting cold feet about fulfilling this obligation in the wake of him now debating Kamala Harris.

According to a report on the Hill, Trump went on a childish rant on his Truth Social platform to whine and complain about the fast-approaching event that millions of Americans are looking forward to watching.

“I watched ABC FAKE NEWS this morning, both lightweight reporter Jonathan Carl’s(K?) ridiculous and biased interview of Tom Cotton (who was fantastic!), and their so-called Panel of Trump Haters, and I ask, why would I do the Debate against Kamala Harris on that network?” Trump wrote.

“They’ve got a lot of questions to answer!!!” Trump wrote in his rambling rant. “Why did Harris turn down Fox, NBC, CBS, and even CNN? Stay tuned!!!”

Aw, poor thing. Whatever happened to all the tough guy s#!t he was poppin’ about how the vice president was not an intelligent person?

If you’re trying to win an election, why wouldn’t you jump at the chance to debate a person who you believe to be unintelligent? Surely, a runaway victory on live TV would serve the campaign well, no? What is big back Donnie so afraid of?

For her part, VP Harris has always expressed her enthusiasm about seeing Trump face-to-face during the September event. Specifically, during her campaign rally in Atlanta when she invoked the street ethos, “If you got something to say, say it to my face.”

Fans worry Jennifer Williams is repeating the past amid an arrest warrant for her future husband, but the Basketball Wives star says her love story won’t be another True Scam Story.

Williams’ fiancé, Christian Gold, is reportedly facing serious legal issues that could have far-reaching implications for their future together, including their upcoming wedding.

Arrest Warrant Issued for Christian Gold

According to reports from Media Take Out, an arrest warrant has been issued for Christian Gold in the state of Georgia. Gold, who is currently on probation after serving time for a domestic violence conviction involving his ex, allegedly violated the terms of his probation by leaving the state without permission.

The probation officer became aware of Gold’s unauthorized departure from Georgia through none other than Jennifer Williams’ Instagram account. This discovery has not only complicated Gold’s legal standing but also complicated things for the couple’s upcoming nuptials.

Wedding Plans In Jeopardy

If the arrest warrant news wasn’t bad enough, a recent scene from Basketball Wives added more drama to the situation. In the episode, Christian Gold expressed his concern that his legal troubles might interfere with their dream wedding in Paris. He revealed to Jennifer that they needed to resolve nearly $250,000 in restitution payments—a sum that Jennifer claimed she was hearing about for the first time and one that is nearly equivalent to their wedding expenses.

While fighting these legal challenges, Gold is reportedly seeking a walk-in hearing to avoid incarceration. He hopes to persuade the court to allow him to remain on probation and grant him a travel pass so that he can marry Jennifer in Paris next month.

A Candid Conversation With Carlos King

Amid all this chaos, Jennifer and Christian sat down with Carlos King for an interview that addressed many of the public’s concerns about their relationship. King did not hold back, asking Jennifer how she felt about fans’ concerns about her getting “scammed again.”

Jennifer responded with grace, acknowledging the worries of her fans while making it very clear that she has learned from her past.

“I’m appreciative of people being concerned for me, I’m appreciative of my fans, but here’s the thing: I learned a lot and every single day I ask God for discernment. I have learned tremendously, I have learned from these mistakes that I’ve made,” she said.

Jennifer’s Vision For Her Wedding Day

Despite the looming uncertainty, Jennifer remains focused on making her wedding day unforgettable. In an interview with US Weekly, she shared her plans to make the event truly unique. “I’m definitely not going to be traditional. On my wedding day, I am changing three times,” she revealed. Jennifer is also planning a welcome party on a boat the day before the wedding and a brunch the day after, though she admits she still has some planning to do for her outfits.

There is no official word on whether the wedding ceremony will be filmed for Basketball Wives or VH1. However,  Jennifer hopes her fans will continue to witness her journey to finding love.

Cam Newton attends 2024 BET Awards - Arrivals

Source: Gilbert Flores / Getty

Cam Newton has been using his Funky Friday podcast to address some pretty big topics, and it seems he’s finally met his match.

In his latest episode, the Heisman winner invited Dr. Cheyenne Bryant for a conversation on marriage and dating. During the more than two-hour sit-down, the conversation turned to Newton’s own dating situation(s). The former NFL quarterback revealed that he has eight children by three different women but is “taking his time” when it comes to marriage.

Dr. Bryant interjected to pushback on his idea by saying,

“You’re not taking your time, you’re being very action based. You’re not taking your time. You have eight kids with three different women. You are creating, procreating and multiplying. That is not taking your time, you’re being very selectively active.

You are proactively choosing where you want to be active at and where you want to take your time. You want to take your time in having a wife because of your own fears but you will…and I say this with all respect and love…you will selfishly create broken families.”

She continued,

“Every child cannot have papa in the house with them. Some child, if not all, will end up with some kind of deficit without daddy being there. Those are selfish acts at the expense of your fear. At what point do you feel the fear and do it anyway? That is a low functioning behavior to say ‘I’m going to build these houses and put kids and these beautiful women in them but I’m not going to create a home for them’.”

Social media has been ablaze with commentary about the conversation. Some people have pointed out the stark contrast between the things that Newton said about his own future—including a desire to have more children that “God brings”—and what the mother of his eighth child said about their relationship.

During an interview with Shan Boodram for the Lovers and Friends Podcast, comedian Jasmin Brown, who gave birth to her and Newton’s daughter earlier this year, opened up about the way she shows her love to him.

“I pretty much read his mind. If I know you and I study you. I know how you are in the morning, I know how you are about midday. I know how you are when you’re in this mood, what you need. Before you can ever ask me for something, I’m already on it.”

She continued,

“I think my biggest flex is how I treat my man. I’ve been known to love people back to health and sometimes it’s very draining but my love is my superpower.”

People were quick to point out that though she seems to pride herself on being any and everything he may need, Newton seems to still be searching for the right woman to spend his life with.

The unjust killing of U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Roger Fortson in his own home led to manslaughter charges against ex-deputy Eddie Duran. He recently lost his employment with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, and Fortson’s family hopes he loses his freedom for taking the 23-year-old’s life.

This unforgettable incident, which took place on May 3, 2024, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, is coming just weeks after Fortson’s little brother was killed in an Atlanta shooting.

As this new charge brings some kind of promise of justice, the larger issues of gun violence and police brutality in the United States continue.

Just look at how long this process took for an innocent young Black man’s life cut short in cold blood. And how many supporters could have pushed the case this far if a witness and bodycam footage weren’t available to vindicate the victim?

The Incident That Ended A Life

On the evening of May 3, Fortson was at home alone with his dog, engaged in a video call with his girlfriend. It was supposed to be an ordinary night for the young airman, who was dedicated to serving his country. Instead, it turned into a nightmare.

While responding to a domestic disturbance call at Fortson’s apartment complex, Duran knocked on Fortson’s door. After hearing the same reported commotion, Fortson answered the door while holding a gun pointed at the ground.

Duran justified his behavior choice due to a “stare” he received from Fortson. Is that in police training?

Bodycam footage revealed that despite the non-threatening position of the weapon, Duran fired multiple shots, executing Fortson on the spot.

The fatal encounter has left many questioning Duran’s actions and quickly resorting to lethal force.

Is this protocol? Can’t be.

Fortson’s family, heartbroken and devastated, has been relentless in their pursuit of justice for their son.

A Family’s Fight For Justice

From the moment the news broke, Fortson’s family, led by his mother, Chantemekki Fortson, has been vocal about their desire for accountability. With the support of renowned civil rights attorney Ben Crump, they have pushed for transparency and justice, refusing to let Roger’s death become just another statistic.

According to WFLA News 8, Chantemekki Fortson expressed the family’s hopes and frustrations at a press conference held last week.

“I hope this brings about change and it teaches others that you can’t just kill people,” said Chantemekki.

“Because he should have waited for backup. And investigated a little more.”

Her words reflect the deep pain and sense of injustice that many families of police violence victims feel—a pain that is all too familiar in communities of color across the nation.

The family’s demands for justice did not go unheard. On August 23, State Attorney Ginger Bowden announced the manslaughter charge for Eddie Duran.

This criminal case is a significant step in the continuing battle for justice. For Fortson’s family, it is just the beginning of a long road ahead.

The Broader Impact

Roger Fortson’s death is a poignant reminder of the perils faced by Black individuals when encountering law enforcement, even within the supposed safety of their own homes.

The fact that Duran, who identified as Hispanic, reacted with deadly force in a situation where Fortson’s weapon was not even aimed at him, underscores the deep-seated issues of fear, bias, and training deficiencies that continue to plague police departments across the country.

As the legal process unfolds, the Fortson family and their supporters must remain vigilant— charges are only the first step. WFLA News 8 states that they seek not only justice for Roger but also systemic change to prevent other families from suffering similar tragedies.

BOSSIP will continue following the Roger Fortson case as a platform of conversation about race, policing, and justice in America.

Going into its return, Real Housewives of Atlanta has made some major changes to the cast, including bringing back Phaedra Parks. The RHOA “Sweet Sixteen” season has officially completed filming, and Parks reveals that this is one viewers won’t want to miss.

Parks recently spoke with People about rejoining the RHOA cast and what fans can expect to see this upcoming season. As BOSSIP reported, Bravo and Parks announced that she would be featured on season 16 of RHOA in late July 2024. The Atlanta native states that it is a “welcoming feeling” to return to the reality TV show. Additionally, she always planned to return but was waiting on the right time — and the phone call.

“They called, and I answered,” she stated.

Parks also asserted that her presence on the show may bring the franchise back from low viewership, “We were the No. 1 franchise of Housewives and I was a part of making that franchise a successful franchise. And I would love to bring the franchise come back to its heyday.”

In May 2023, Yahoo Entertainment reported that season 15 of RHOA presented its lowest numbers yet, and Bravo was not happy.

“RHOA Season 15, Episode 4 saw the lowest viewership for the series in years. The season premiere debuted with a decent 834,000 viewers, but the numbers have been dipping since then,” the outlet wrote.

A cast shake-up and the return of Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks is an obvious strategy to hook viewers back in. Parks is certain the plan will work as she promises viewers can expect the same quality as older seasons.

Phaedra Parks Is Excited To Reunite With Porsha Williams

People also reported that Parks admits she is happy to return with her pal, Porsha Williams.

“Of course, I love Porsha,” Parks said. “We are the original frick and frack.”

You may recall that their friendship took a hit after Parks left the show after season nine. During the season, the central storyline was that Williams accused fellow castmate Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, of planning to drug her and Shemea Morton for sexual pleasure. At the reunion for the season, Williams revealed that Parks was behind the rumor. The 50-year-old then admitted that she told Williams.

The strength of Parks and Williams’ friendship since the debacle is a mystery, but viewers will hopefully see more when the season airs. Fans are also wondering just how often Parks will appear on season 16. As mentioned, Parks announced her return in July 2024, when the season was months into filming. As BOSSIP reported, this announcement came after Kenya Moore exited the show due to an internal investigation regarding Moore allegedly releasing private photos of cast member Brittany Eady.

Despite all of the changes, the mother of two is confident that fans will enjoy the season, “I will say this, it’s going to be an amazing season,” Parks teases. “I mean, it will definitely be reminiscent to the Housewives you love originally.”

Parks also told People that season 16 completed filming on August 19. Viewers can expect the new season soon, but Bravo has yet to announce a premiere date.

Jamaican Olympic sprinter Junelle Bromfield is speaking out about weeks of online harassment and colorism, but boyfriend Noah Lyles, Sanya Richards-Ross, Gabby Thomas, and more have her back. “F**k them!” fellow track star Tara Davis-Woodhall clapped back in the comments.

On Friday, the track and field champ opened up about the “cyber-bullying” she experienced. Since the 2024 Paris Olympics began, racist trolls around the world have targeted Black athletes like her and Team USA’s Jordan Chiles.

Bromfield didn’t just face hate globally about her Blackness and relationship with the “fastest man in the world.” She revealed even her fellow countrymen are bombarding her with death threats and colorist comments about her skin tone and other features.

“I honestly thought we were past colorism in Jamaica,” Bromfield wrote on an IG post with screenshots of some hateful harassment.

“I grew up hearing black is not beautiful , Your hair is dry , your mouth is too big , your forehead too high and when you throw all those insults behind you and start walking with confidence the best compliment you get is your pretty for a black girl,” Bromfield wrote.

She added several rude receipts because she claimed no one believed her about the online abuse she suffered. The images include replies comparing her to animals and threatening her if she ever returns to Jamaica.

“I honestly thought we were past colorism in Jamaica especially as nation that is filled with black people. I have been getting cyber bullied for weeks and when it gets talked about I’m a liar because no Jamaican was coming for my features,” she continued.

The silver medal stunner ended with words of encouragement for other women and girls like herself.

“I could go off ranting but I’m just here to tell all the girls/women on my profile that you’re beautiful no matter your shade, shape or size and for the the little black girls don’t wait on anybody to tell you that your beautiful to believe it,” Bromfield concluded.

Support flooded in from fellow track stars and celebs with island roots. Check out the responses to Junelle Bromfield’s confession about online harassment after the flip.

Of course, Junelle Bromfield’s boyfriend, Noah Lyles, didn’t hesitate to support her. The couple has been together since 2022 after a few years of friendship. Lyles also received backlash for their border-crossing coupledom and he quickly took to the comments to cheer her on as the inspiration she is.

“Baby you are and will always be an inspiration to all little girls feeling this exact way. I can’t wait for the day that you tell your story in full because every girl that has felt what you are going through will know how amazing they can be and go on to do amazing things!” the recent gold medal winner wrote.

Three-time Paris Olympics gold medalist Gabby Thomas loved on Bromfield.

“Thank you for using your platform to share this- WE know you are one of the most beautiful ladies on the track, but what’s even more important is how much you shine as a person and how you light up a room. We love you,” she wrote with heart emojis.

Champion long jumper Tara Davis-Woodhall didn’t hold back on the haters.

“F**K THEM! THEY WISH THEY COULD BE YOU,” the US champ added.

Fellow Jamaican runner Yohan Blake also replied to remind Bromfield the nasty nonsense is just a distraction.

“You are beautiful just the way you are. Let them talk! Most people hate themselves that’s why it’s so easy for them to show hate. Don’t get caught up in what they have to say about you.
Stay focused!” the second-fastest man in history in the 100m and 200m said.

RHOA and Olympics alum Sanya Richards-Ross chimed in:

“You are beautiful!!! Inside and out. Keep shining bright.”

LHHATL and “Queen of Dancehall” Spice entered the chat to continue calling out colorism and racism, like Erica Mena’s infamous “blue monkey” melee.

“Beautification, Black creation, Black Perfection. They use to say I’m black like Tar but look at me now I’m a Shining Star. @JunelleBromfield YOU ARE A BLACK HERO I’M SO PROUD OF YOU QUEEN. Now let’s show them what black girls are made of,” the Mirror 25  artist wrote.

The Caribbean cosigns continued with Nicki Minaj showed solidarity by posting Bromfield on her Instagram Stories.

Model and former Miss Universe Jamaica winner Davina Bennett also entered the chat:

“BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL. MELANIN IS GOLDEN. Continue to filter out the hate. You are stunning in every way! It’s heartbreaking to see colorism prevail, especially within our own country. Hold your head high, fix your crown, and stand tall in knowing that you’ve made your roots proud. Sending positive energy your way!” the beauty queen wrote.

Lyles isn’t the only celeb who doesn’t play about Bromfield and countless fans flooded the comments with love. Hopefully the sprinter’s heartfelt admission reaches her haters as much as those who look up to her. Black is, indeed, beautiful and never going out of style. Now, run, tell that!

Spotlight: Shaboozey

Source: Rebecca Sapp / Getty

Shaboozey is having a great year as his track “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” continues to dominate the charts, but now he’s in for quite a battle with his former publishing company.

According to Rolling Stone, the new country music star is suing the major music publisher, Warner Chappell, for a breach of contract and refusing to let him out of an administrative deal. The singer’s legal team claims that they’ve attempted to pay 110 percent of “unrecouped balances” to terminate his current deal; however, the label is refusing to negotiate.

“To date, Warner has refused to disclose to plaintiff the total amount of the unrecouped balance for the prior advances in violation of the Administration Agreement,” the lawsuit states.

His former label isn’t here for the move. According to TMZ, Kreshendo Entertainment, a subsidiary of Warner Chappell claims that they agreed to let Shaboozey out of his deal back in 2019 with the caveat that they’d be able to still earn money on his music. They also allege that he was aware of the agreement and are now suing him for fraud to the tune of $2 million.

Kreshendo seems to think that Shaboozey is acting brand new to avoid having to share his newfound riches. His lawsuit also alleges that the company unlawfully released his music without his knowledge.

Nonetheless, Shaboozey is enjoying his success and is allegedly using his access to the rich and famous to bag some pretty women. According to People, the Beyoncé collaborator is getting close to model/actress Emily Ratajkowski. The two were spotted attending the premiere of Zoe Kravitz‘s directorial debut, Blink Twice.

What a difference a year can make as Shaboozey was using social media to push his music before landing a spot on Cowboy Carter.

“I’ve been doing music for such a long time, I’ve put a lot of time and years into it,” he told PEOPLE. “I put so much into it that I feel like it’s just cool to see it working. Everybody hopes it works. To see it actually working, it’s unreal. It feels like a dream. It feels like I’m definitely going to wake up at some point and be like, ‘Damn, that s— was a dream?’”

Well, hopefully. he’ll be able to keep his coins.

Singer DaniLeigh‘s arrest video has hit the internet and has left fans wondering what’s really going on with the “Easy” artist.

DaniLeigh Booking Photo

Source: Handout / Getty

The video is from a hit-and-run accident involving the singer that took place in May 2023. According to TMZ, DaniLeigh was driving under the influence in Miami when she hit a 17-year-old who sustained both a kidney laceration and spinal fracture.

Video footage taken at the scene shows a clearly inebriated DaniLeigh talking to officers saying,

“You can’t arrest me, I’m a singer.”

She also called out rapper Quavo as the person she was with, who later made an appearance alongside another man and questioned the officers.

It’s unclear why the video surfaced more than a year after the incident. However, DaniLeigh is currently serving a five-year probation. Police initially booked her on three felony charges of driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury and DUI damage to property.

She pleaded no contest to misdemeanor and felony charges. In the meantime, her brother, Brandon Bills, is still trying to collect his coins from DaniLeigh‘s ex, rapper DaBaby.

In 2023, Bills filed a lawsuit against his sister’s former lover over an altercation at a Los Angeles bowling alley. In 2022, DaBaby and his friends were seen beating Bills after the two exchanged words via social media. Bills is seeking $4 million from the “Bop” rapper, The Source reports.

According to reports, Bills has had a hard time serving DaBaby with legal papers. He allegedly hired a private investigator and a process server to track him down but has been unsuccessful. A judge has given him the right to take out a newspaper ad serving the rapper; however, no judgment has been made in the case thus far.

Here’s to hoping both DaniLeigh and DaBaby are making better choices for the sake of their daughter.

After capturing the spotlight in the 2024 Paris Olympics, breaking (not break dancing) is once again taking center stage for its highly anticipated 2024 USA season.

Red Bull BC One 2024

Source: Red Bull / Red Bull Content Pool

Red Bull BC One is announcing its United States competition schedule with the final taking place September 28 at Los Angeles’ Venice Beach.

The best b-boys and b-girls will compete with popping, locking, and head spinning to win the illustrious National USA Cypher ahead of the Red Bull BC One World Final in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in December.

With a new global audience having watched breakers battle it out in Paris, the 2024 Red Bull BC One season is “doubling down on its commitment to foster the continued growth of breaking, championing trailblazing figures and communities that have played an integral part in the dance sport’s rise to prominence and global acknowledgment.”

Victor Montalvo a.k.a. B-Boy Victor, the bronze medalist for Team USA’s Men’s Breaking team, believes there’s no better time than now to continue to shine a spotlight on the sport that recently captivated the world stage.

“Before Paris, the biggest international breaking competition you wanted to win was Red Bull BC One, which has been around since 2004,” said Victor who’s a two-time Red Bull BC One World Champion. “Paris was the first look at competitive breaking for many people around the world, but the breaking scene has grown significantly since the 80’s. Red Bull BC One has not only played a pivotal role in my success and breaking journey, but it’s also the best event to tune into if you want a real look into the true spirit of the dance. I hope breaking’s new revival attracts even more fans to the competition.”
