On Oct. 1 Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to show love to her precious son, Papa Bear, in honor of the purely precious prince’s fourth birthday. However, after catching flack for posting the little one’s father, Kenneth Petty, on the little one’s birthday, the “Roman’s Revenge” rapper quickly clapped back calling a detractor a “funky piece of filth.”

“Only you could make your child birthday about a man,” an X user, identified as @customdown, captioned an image of the “Anaconda” hitmaker nestled close to Petty in a bright red wig, an image she shared earlier that day.

Minaj replied back to the critic with a lengthy letter, slamming the internet goer for their rude comment.

“Dear weak loser tweeting about someone else’s bday b/c you have nothing to rejoice about in your own sad existence & clearly don’t feel loved & definitely not paid attention to due to your ugliness…” she began.

“1. There are 24 hours in one’s bday. So you have no idea what anyone’s bday was like via a photo on social media. That’s why y’all was saying couple goals about a lot of those Instagram relationships & ended up looking dumb. Well yall BEEN looking dumb chi. The mirror told yall that way before I could’ve. ENTEEWAYS….”

Minaj noted in her clapback on Tuesday that capturing and posting the image of Petty took just a few seconds, leaving ample time to fully celebrate her son’s fourth birthday.

“So again… making someone’s bday about something that took one second? If Johnny had 5 F****g APPLES B****. LMFAOOOO #GagCityStLOUIS TONIGHT!!!!!!! Somebody call NELLY!!!!!!” Minaj penned, while promoting the St. Louis stop of her Gag City Reloaded Tour.

“2. Nothing in the tweet has to do with ANYONE’S bday. So, ummmmm how’d you know? Oh right. OBSESSED WITH ONIKA!!!!! DING DING DING . Obsessed, ugly AND a VERY low IQ,” she continued. “They always check the same boxes. chasing a lil coin from Elon chi woo wee!!! #GagCityStLouis TONIGHT.“

Before signing off she added;

“Yall go look @ this person’s page to see their miserable existence. There’s no way you’re tweeting this much about someone you don’t like. like no way.  Mad b/c YOU believed lies that were debunked. Bwahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. STAY MAD UGZ!!!! I’m sure you will die miserable & mad just the way you are now.  I can tell the future Lastly HIS FATHER. MY HUSBAND. Not a man,  you funky piece of filth. “

Nicki Paid Tribute to Papa Bear On Instagram Earlier That Day

Before sharing the photo of Petty, Minaj had already posted a heartfelt tribute to her son. The beautiful carousel contained adorable moments of Papa Bear playing in the backyard with his dad and pretending to drive while seated behind a car steering wheel. Towards the end of the touching post, Petty could be seen holding their little one just moments after his birth. Minaj reportedly gave birth to her baby boy on Sept. 30 in Los Angeles, a source previously confirmed to PEOPLE.

“Dear #PapaBear, Happy 4th birthday, buddy,” the “Chun-Li” rapper penned in the caption of the sweet post. “You’ve made mama & daddy so happy. Since you were in mama’s tummy, you gave me a whole new meaning to life. Hope.”

She added;

“May God watch over you always & guide your path. No weapon formed against you will prosper. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.”

Ouch! Do you think Nicki Minaj’s response was too much or was the clap back warranted?

The legal case against Sean “Diddy” Combs is only getting worse.

More than 100 alleged victims and their attorneys have come forward with claims of rape, sexual assault, and sexual exploitation against Combs and other alleged perpetrators.

According to Fox 5 New York, the cases against the disgraced music mogul include allegations of violent sexual assault and rape, facilitation of drugs, false imprisonment, and sexual abuse of minors. As we previously reported, these allegations include one from a then-9-year-old boy who was allegedly auditioning for Bad Boy Records prior to the assault.

Tony Buzbee with the Buzbee Law Firm and Ava Law Group has revealed that many of the alleged assault victims tested positive for Xylazine, a horse tranquilizer known as “tranq,” and noted that in most cases, they were pressured to consume drinks spiked with various drugs. Not only were they pressured, but guests were allegedly handed a spiked drink upon their arrival, being forced to drink it when entering.

“The admission to this party was that you had to drink this ‘chosen drink’ that was handed to you,” Buzbee noted. “Let that sink in for a minute.”

One of these allegations comes from a woman who says she allegedly attended a group dinner at Diddy’s Miami mansion before she believes she was assaulted.

The woman says that she wasn’t drinking at the time because she was pregnant, but that she was allegedly given a laced drink, which caused her to black out.

“She blacked out, and she woke up in the same bed with Mr. Combs,” Buzbee said. “Her [private parts] were torn and sore.”

At the time, the identities of the alleged victims are unknown. Buzbee says they plan to file the cases under pseudonyms until the court orders otherwise.

One of Combs’ attorneys, Erica Wolff, responded to the allegations in a statement to FOX 5 NY, calling them “meritless.”

“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” the statement began. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

Love Is Blind debuted the first six episodes of Season 7 Wednesday, October 2 and we’re already head over heels for several couples — especially this one in particular.

Love Is Blind Season 7 stars Ashley Adionser and Tyler Frances

Source: Adam Rose / Netflix

If you haven’t watched yet you may want to steer clear of this story if you’re worried about spoilers! BOSSIP Sr. Content Director Janeé Bolden chatted it up with Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis ahead of the season premiere to get the details on their sweet Black love story.

The first four episodes of Love Is Blind shares the cast’s interactions as they move from the pods, in hopes of finding a connection on the other side without having any idea of what the other person looks like. For some couples it took some time for the connection to happen, but Francis says he had the good fortune of hitting the jackpot on his very first date in the pods.

“For me it was day one,” Tyler told BOSSIP about when he first had an inkling he’d found his match. “Ashley was my first date and it was just something that came through the wall, a feeling of safety that I’ve never felt before. I wasn’t sure if you asked me day one would I propose to Ashley, I’d have been like, ‘I’m still in the, you know, I don’t know, I don’t know her,’ but that was the person that was always on my mind from day one of the pods.”

It turns out the feeling was mutual! Ashley Adionser told BOSSIP that Francis left a strong impression from their very first encounter.

“Tyler was number one on my little checklist from Day 1 just because he came in super authentic and vulnerable,” Ashley told BOSSIP. “I think when I really knew is when I started missing him to the point it hurt and I’m in the pods or in the lounge and I’m like, ‘Bro I got five more dates — I don’t care about any of these people.’ Great people, great conversation, but I wanted to get in there with him.”

The couple ultimately sought out a solution to help them during their moments apart.

“We switched each other’s blankets and sprayed our scents on them just so we could have a piece of each other,” Adionser told BOSSIP. “I was like balling it up so that the girls couldn’t see the name on it, because I started getting a little minor jealousy, even though I knew it was part of the process. I’m like knowing certain people are going in there with him and I’m sending you know my potential man off to someone else. So I think it was around the time where I started to deeply feel that, I was like, ‘Wow I could marry this guy.’”

While Francis told BOSSIP he tried to avoid any jealous moments, there is a scene in the pods where Tyler tells Ashley he got upset when one of the other guys touched “his wife’s blanket.” Ultimately he says he remained optimistic that what was for him was truly for him.

“I was very open in the pods expressing who I was dating,” Tyler said. “I was also open to listen and to people who were dating the same people as me I didn’t take it as a jab, I took it as, ‘we don’t control these women.’ If you are their match they’ll pick you. So I was just very open and fluid and I really talked about everything.”

In the pods Ashley likened dating in your thirties to “tucking through the clearance rack, trying to find a hidden gem,” and spoiler alert — she ends up exiting the pods with an actual ring on her finger. Still, anyone who has watched previous seasons of Love Is Blind knows the road to the altar can be very rocky — and even rockier once cameras stop following them, so we’ll just keep our fingers crossed that this love is one meant to last while we await the arrival of Episodes 7-9 on October 9.

In the meantime, Francis shared his advice for any potential future Love is Blind singles.

“I would say for anyone going into it, go into it with an open mind,” Tyler told BOSSIP. “Be prepared to find love because people are looking for love. I know some people go in there and maybe they’re looking for other things but just know that everyone’s trying to be genuine and be themselves and it’s for love.”

Love Is Blind Season 7 Episodes 1-6 are currently streaming on Netflix.

It should go without saying that Drake was playing close attention to the celebs who supported Kendrick Lamar during their highly-publicized feud.

The Toronto rapper has had a steep fall from grace in recent months, pretty unanimously losing his back and forth against Kendrick Lamar. While the discourse surrounding their feud has mostly died down by this point–regardless of Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” still being quite ubiquitous–it looks like the affects are still being felt by people in Drake’s life.

According to Bleacher Report, Drake has made another nod to the feud on social media, going on somewhat of an unfollowing spree on Instagram.

One of the most notable names unfollowed by the rapper is LeBron James, one of Drake’s longest friendships in the entertainment industry. While him severing ties comes as a shock to many, it’s interesting it took this long, since the Los Angeles Lakers star publicly attended Kendrick’s Pop Out concert at the climax of their beef back in June.

Other people reportedly unfollowed by the Canadian are Playboi Carti, Joe Budden and DeMar DeRozan.

DeRozan was also in attendance at the concert, taking the stage alongside Lamar, Russell Westbrook, and other stars when he performed “Not Like Us” five times in a row.

As pointed out by Page Six, once fans noticed Drake’s unfollowing spree, it was also noticed that he was still following Sean “Diddy” Combs as he awaits trial for sex trafficking and other charges.

Shortly after their article was published, Drake unfollowed the disgraced music mogul.

Sex trafficking, and child sexual abuse are real problems plaguing America right now and parents are hyper-vigilant about protecting their sons and daughters from sick people who want to take advantage of them.

According to CNN report, Lechter County, Kentucky Sheriff Shawn “Mickey” Stines is on trial for “allegedly” killing his best friend, Judge Kevin Mullins, after allegedly finding his young daughter’s cell phone number saved in Mullins’ phone. While “allegedly” is the correct way to communicate the charges against Stines, his lawyers are not denying that he did indeed shoot Mullins as video footage of the incident was played in court and released to the public. That said, Stine’s counsel is attempting to reduce their client’s charge from murder to manslaughter as Stines has pleaded not guilty to the more serious charge.

In the 20-second video that was played in court, Stines can be seen shooting Mullins multiple times while the judge cowered on the floor under his desk. Stines can also be seen firing another volley of rounds as he leaves the judge’s chambers.

Warning! The following video is graphic in nature.

The motive for the killing will be a major part of the jury determining manslaughter versus murder. A witness saw Stines and Mullins having lunch with a group of people just hours prior to the shooting. One of the people in that group, Kentucky State Police Det. Clayton Stamper, testified that there was no sense of anger or malice during the meal but he did hear Mullins asked Stines: “Do we need to meet private in my chambers?“

Stamper also confirmed another important fact during his testimony.

“I was told that Sheriff Stines had tried to call his daughter, and he had tried to call his daughter from the judge’s phone also,” said Stamper, who confirmed that phone records showed that the cell phone of Stines’ daughter had previously been called from the judge’s phone.

The fact that the judge had previously contacted Stines’ daughter is suspect to say the very least. Stamper also testified that upon surrendering himself to authorities, Stines told one of the officers “They’re trying to kidnap my wife and kid.”

Stines could face the death penalty if he is convicted.

Rich Homie Quan’s death has officially been ruled an accidental suicide from a mixture of fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, and promethazine.

As more days pass, the shocking death of Atlanta’s Rich Homie Quan doesn’t seem real. When news of the rapper’s passing spread across social media it was alleged he overdosed, but those claims weren’t confirmed at the time. Reportedly, his girlfriend found him unresponsive at their home and immediately dialed 911. Unfortunately, it was too late.

Reportedly, Quan didn’t have a heartbeat when he was found and began foaming at the mouth once moved.

According to TMZ, the Fulton County Medical Examiner ruled his death an accident. Quan’s death came from an overdose of a deadly mix of drugs including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, and promethazine. Pressed prescription drugs haven’t been confirmed as the reason, but if confirmed, we should expect a criminal investigation to follow.

Whoever sold the fake drugs should be held accountable for their actions. Last month, Quan’s close family and friends gathered to pay their final respects at his funeral.

The RHQ family released his last track “Song Cry” during the funeral and released the post-humorous video shortly after.

Welp, it only took 103 years and roughly four months, but the Department of Justice announced Tuesday that it will launch a federal review of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.

According to ABC News, the federal Civil Rights Division’s Cold Case Unit is conducting a full review of the massacre, in which a white mob attacked, lynched and destroyed an entire affluent Black town in Oklahoma — leveling more than 1,000 homes and businesses and killing hundreds of Black residents — all because a single Black man was accused of raping a single white woman.

Kristen Clarke, the assistant attorney general for civil rights who announced the review in a statement Monday, referred to the massacre as “one of the deadliest episodes of mass racial violence in this nation’s history.”

So — not to be a Debbie Downer here — but one can’t help but wonder what’s even the point of all this. After all, the announcement of the review comes months after the Oklahoma Supreme Court told the last survivors of the massacre — Lessie Benningfield Randle, 109, and Viola Ford Fletcher, 110 — and their families in June and July that they are not owed reparations for the massacre that they experienced firsthand. Considering this, and the fact that there are no living perpetrators of the atrocity to hold accountable, it’s arguable that this review is kind of performative.

In fact, the review is being conducted under the Emmett Till Unsolved Civil Rights Crime Act, which brings to mind the fact that recent investigations into the brutal, evil and egregiously racist torture and killing of Emmett Till have also been conducted by law enforcement officials in Mississippi, and those investigations resulted in absolutely zero being done to hold anyone accountable.

Still, Damario Solomon-Simmons, the lead attorney representing the survivors of the massacre, celebrated the decision in a press conference Monday.

“I’m so excited to announce that this morning, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Kristen Clarke announced that the United States Federal Government Department of Justice will open a review and evaluation of the 1921 Tulsa race massacre,” Solomon-Simmons said. “It is about time! It only took 103 years.”

Solomon-Simmons did address the issue of reparations, saying, “This community would never stop fighting for reparations. This community would never forget what happened to our people, just for being Black, just for being successful.”

“So we are excited today. This has been a difficult journey, a lot of obstacles, a lot of odds, a lot of opposition, but today we have a victory,” he continued.

Tiffany Crutcher, a descendant of a survivor of the massacre who founded the Terence Crutcher Foundation and serves as the foundation’s executive director, also expressed gratitude for the review, acknowledging that what happened in Tulsa more than a century ago has been “ignored for far too long.”

“Today, my family and community are deeply grateful that the U.S. Department of Justice is finally preparing to review the 1921 Tulsa race massacre,” she said. “I leave you with this quote from my mentor, our mentor, Bryan Stevenson, this community will continue to stand on hope, and hope is what will get you to stand up when people tell you to sit down, and today, we continue to stand.”

To be sure, it is about time. It’s just unfortunate that it’s only happening after everything is long said and done, and no one involved in the massacre can be held to account or provided restitution. It will, however, be interesting to see what this review turns up, what new information we will learn, if any, and, most importantly, how it will impact the way we as a nation grapple with racial violence and injustice in the future.

A Texas-based attorney announced Tuesday that 120 accusers have come forward to say they were sexually abused by the Bad Boy mogul and some of his associates. NBC News reports that attorney Tony Buzbee held a news conference Tuesday saying he’s representing over 100 people with allegations against Diddy that occurred over 20 years.

Buzbee said at least 25 of the alleged victims were minors at the time of the alleged abuse, with the youngest being 9 years old. The attorney said the child was brought to New York City by Combs’ record label, Bad Boy Records, for an audition, but was sexually abused by Combs and his associates at the studio. The boy was promised that he and his parents would get a record deal, Buzbee said.

“We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates,” NBC News reports Buzbee said during the news conference.

Buzbee claimed his team has gathered evidence, including photos, videos, and texts, to support the allegations. He stated that the accusations include violent sexual assault, rape, facilitated sex with controlled substances, dissemination of video recordings, and sexual abuse of minors.

“This list is long, and the names involved will shock you,” said Buzbee added.

One of the plaintiffs’ attorneys, Andrew Van Arsdale called the forthcoming filings “unprecedented in scope” in an interview with The Washington Post and said he was struck by the similarities in the accusations. Many of the alleged victims were trying to break into the music industry when they received an invitation to an event hosted by Combs, he said.

Van Arsdale also said that the lawsuits will name a number of co-defendants, including members of Combs’s family, record labels, event venues, and Combs’s associates including “household names.”

Diddy’s Attorney Issues Statement Denying He Abused Anyone, “Including Minors”

Combs’ legal team has responded, with his lawyer Erica Wolff issuing a statement to NBC News vehemently denying the new allegations while dubbing the new allegations “meritless” and part of a  “reckless media circus.”

“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

NBC News reports that attorney Tony Buzbee history of representing high-profile victims, including accusers of NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson and victims of the Astroworld tragedy who filed a massive lawsuit against Travis Scott following the 2021 festival.

Diddy remains behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, following his indictment on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty, and his attorneys are filing an appeal on his behalf.

There’s sad news to report about incomparable talent, John Amos.

Source: Shareif Ziyadat / Getty

The beloved Emmy-nominated actor best remembered for his role as James Evans Sr. on the groundbreaking sitcom Good Times, has passed away at the age of 84. The news was confirmed by the star’s son, K.C. Amos, who noted to The Hollywood Reporter that the actor died of natural causes on August 21 in Los Angeles.

“It is with heartfelt sadness that I share with you that my father has transitioned,” K.C. said in a statement. “He was a man with the kindest heart and a heart of gold… and he was loved the world over. Many fans consider him their TV father. He lived a good life, and his legacy will live on through his outstanding works in television and film.”

While Amos is well known for Good Times, his illustrious career spanned decades.

He earned an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of the older version of Kunta Kinte in the acclaimed 1977 ABC miniseries Roots and also had memorable roles as Admiral Percy Fitzwallace on The West Wing and played a key part in the 1988 comedy Coming to America, starring alongside Eddie Murphy.

He reprised his role in Coming to America’s 2021 sequel Coming 2 America, telling BOSSIP that it was an honor to star in a second installation of the film and work alongside Eddie Murphy.

“This was a lesson in patience because 30 years from the original is a long time,” Amos told BOSSIP’s Alex Ford. “I’ve had some ups and downs in my careers and I’ve had highlights since then but lord knows that’s a long time to wait for something. Now it’s done and it was an incredible feeling.”

He continued,

“Once it was confirmed, I started celebrating then. I didn’t care what the script looked like, just to work with Eddy again was gonna be a blessing because he’s a consummate talent and I love to laugh. I love comedy more than anything in the world.”

John is survived by his daughter, Shannon, and son, K.C., who he welcomed with ex-wife Noel Mickelson. The siblings were previously at odds over elder abuse allegations, reports TMZ.

Multiple investigations were launched but later closed due to lack of evidence.

Hopefully, the siblings are in a better space amid their father’s passing.

Naomi Campbell has set the record straight about her rumored feud with Rihanna following some seemingly shady behavior exhibited by the former at New York Fashion Week. In a recent interview with The New York Times, the supermodel addressed speculation that she and celebrity stylist Law Roach were throwing shade at the “Love on the Brain” singer during the Alaïa fashion showcase.

Naomi Says There’s No Beef Between Her And Rihanna

Fans online speculated that Campbell, 54, and Roach, 46, were miffed by Rihanna seemingly ignoring them as she arrived at the event in a dazzling crystal mesh gown. They even thought their viral “demure” video might have been a dig at the “Umbrella” singer’s revealing look. However, Campbell swiftly shut down the rumors, insisting that she had no issues with the 36-year-old Grammy winner.

“I’m not about to let the world pitch two Black women against each other,” the runway icon told The New York Times in her latest interview. “We are two women with two children, mothers.”

As previously reported, Campbell and Roach were dragged into the court of public opinion when they took part in the viral demure trend created by TikToker Jools Lebron.

“We don’t go to the shows like other girls,” Law said in the video posted to his Instagram account on Sept 14. “We don’t come with our tatas out or our chichis out. Very demure.”

Campbell added;

“Very mindful. It’s not about showing yourself. It’s about showing the clothes.”

Fans of the shady post were convinced that the duo’s subtle jab was directed at Rihanna, who looked stunning as she seemingly ignored the fashion icons to greet former British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enniful. Among those taking offense was Rihanna’s devoted fanbase, The Navy, who unleashed a barrage of insults toward both Roach and Campbell on X (formerly Twitter), labeling them as “shady” “petty” and “tacky.”

Law has since addressed the speculation, urging fans to “stop making sh–t up” and denying any feud.

“What’s so funny to me is that, in this universe of the internet and social media that y’all live in, y’all are always thinking something has to be something,” he said in a Sept. 15 video on X. “But something ain’t always something. Sometimes something is just nothing. So stop trying to make nothing into something. You know what? Y’all need to get some business.”

While this remains pure speculation, some think that tensions may have started when Rihanna began dating billionaire Hassan Jameel in 2017, whom Campbell reportedly dated previously, according to Teen Vogue. However, Campbell addressed these rumors back in March 2017 during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen when asked about the potential feud.

“Everything’s fine,” she shared at the time. “I’m an actress now, Andy. I don’t have beef especially with Black women. The support is powerful, we are all out there doing the same thing. We all have the same struggle,” she added.
