A Motor City couple is dishing on joining the cast of Love & Marriage: Detroit, the intricacies and excellence of their city, and the true root of a friendship fallout.

Kimberly and Marcel Dobine are the latest additions to the second season of the OWN show centered around Black love, business, and friendships in the D.

As the season continues, the Dobines told BOSSIP that they want viewers to tune in for more than just drama on the Carlos King show, and instead appreciate seeing the Motor City’s culture, grit, heart, and history.

“We were born and raised in the city of Detroit. We believe in Detroit. We stand ten toes down for Detroit,” Marcel told BOSSIP’s Managing Editor Dani Canada.

His words were echoed by his wife who said that Detroit is more than just a backdrop for the show; it’s an integral part of their identity that they love to showcase amid the D’s ongoing renaissance.

“Detroit is who we are, through and through,” said Kimberly. “We wanted to really bring light to the beauty of Detroit, our culture, our food, our people, our family.”

“People have this perception of Detroit being this old, beat-up, broken-down city, but they don’t know the beauty of Detroit,” she added.

When the Dobines first appeared on TV screens, viewers saw them meet up with the show’s friend group, which includes the Harrises…

and the Smiths.

Things quickly went left, however, when Kristina and Kimberly sat face to face after having a friendship fallout.

During that conversation, it seemed like Kimberly was upset about Kristina’s friend remarking about Kimberly having an Android phone and being “perfect” for her husband, who also had an Android because they “both like mediocre things.”

However, the event planner, designer, and founder of the Posh & Popular brand told BOSSIP that there’s more to the story.

“I know iPhone people are really serious, but it’s not that serious to us,” she told BOSSIP before noting that it wasn’t just about the phone comment; it was about the underlying tone and intent of the remark.

Marcel then noted that he believed that the comment was meant to be shady.

“Everyone’s got the running joke about Android versus iPhone,” said Marcel. “I’m in the businees where words matter. I’m really serious about when you say things, words really matter. For everyone, I look at body language and tonality. That’s 93% of communication.”

Despite remaining calm during the situation, Kimberly said the incident left her reeling and confused.

“When Marcel and I got in the car, he was like, ‘What was that?’” she recounted. “I never had that experience before.”

As time passed, the tension lingered and a follow-up meeting with Kristina only heightened Kimberly’s concerns. “I expressed to her the situation. Am I tripping?” Kimberly asked and what followed was confusion including a moment when the friend who commented first denied ever saying it, then claimed it was a joke. For Kimberly, that was a tipping point.

She felt let down, not just by the initial comment but by the way it was handled afterward including a phone call from the commenter that felt more like an attack than a conversation.

“I immediately hung up and blocked her,” Kimberly recalled.

Not only that, but Kimberly said that Kristina called the partygoers to verify that the comment was actually made because she didn’t hear it. This moment marked a pivotal point in her Kristina friendship.

“Now I have a friend who I deem a very close friend not taking my word for something when I never needed to lie about anything,” Kimberly told BOSSIP. “I have always had her back in any situation. I just feel like I was being treated differently than I had always treated her.”

She added that she and Kristina tried to reconcile, but the trust was shattered.

“There was a series of things, and at that point, we just started to drift away a little bit. There wasn’t a big fallout, I just felt like I was being treated differently than I had always treated her,” said Kimberly.

Ultimately, the friendship ended not over a simple misunderstanding but the culmination of unmet expectations and feelings of dismissal.

“I wouldn’t even say betrayed, I would say dismissed or treated unfairly within the situation,” said Kimberly when asked if she felt betrayed by her former friend. “If I’m your friend and I bring a situation to you, I’m not gonna call everybody at my party. It was never, ever, ever about a phone,” she emphasized.

On Saturday’s episode of Love & Marriage Detroit, it was clear that the two are still not in a good place amid Kristina alleging that Kimberly “tries to manipulate situations through tears.” At her surprise birthday, Kristina was adamant that her former friend would “use her emotions to try to manipulate people” so she could “play the victim.”

When word got back to Kimberly, another showdown between her and Kristina went down and Kimberly tossed pieces of clothing from the influencer’s KBS Collection on the floor.

Prior to the airing of that scene, Kimberly told BOSSIP that she would accept an apology from Kristina because that’s “all she wanted from a friend”, but now that seems unlikely.

“You take your friends’ grievances seriously, especially when they’re coming to celebrate you or to show up for you,” said Kimberly. “And so that’s, that was my only thing. I just didn’t like the way it was handled.”

Hit the flip for more.

The co-chairs for the 2025 Met Gala have been announced.

We’re still more than six months away from the 2025 Met Gala, but as any fashion fan knows, celebs prepare for about that long–or ever longer–for when that first Monday in May rolls along. Because the biggest night in fashion takes so much preparation, it’s only right the theme and co-chairs for the 2025 Met Gala be announced early, too.

On Wednesday, Oct. 9, the Metropolitan Museum of Art announced the Costume Institute’s spring 2025 exhibition, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. The exhibit will draw inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, featuring garments, paintings, photographs, and more—all exploring the indelible style of Black men in the context of dandyism, from the 18th-century through present day.

“The Costume Institute’s spring 2025 exhibition will present a cultural and historical examination of the Black dandy, from the figure’s emergence in Enlightenment Europe during the 18th century to today’s incarnations in cities around the world,” the exhibition’s description reads. “Historically, the term dandy was used to describe someone—often a man—who is extremely devoted to style and approaches it as a discipline. Dandyism was initially imposed on Black men in 18th-century Europe as the Atlantic slave trade and an emerging culture of consumerism created a trend of fashionably dressed, or dandified, servants.”

With those guidelines in mind, it only makes sense that the co-chairs for the Met Gala would be some of the most powerful and stylish Black men in Hollywood.

The co-chairs for the 2025 Met Gala will be Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, and Pharrell Williams, alongside Anna Wintour. LeBron James will serve as honorary chair. For Rocky, Williams, and Hamilton, the Met Gala is nothing new, having been a regular in attendance for years now. Domingo attended his first Met Gala earlier this year, while James will make his debut at the event in 2025.

The Met Gala will return to NYC on May 5, 2025. The dress code is set to be announced in early 2025.

Streaming platform Tubi announces Deion Sanders and Rocsi Diaz will team up to host a new talk show “We Got Time Today.”

Tubi dropped a shocking announcement today that the streaming platform plans on debuting a new talk show in November. While the talk show itself isn’t that shocking it will be hosted by Coach Deion Sanders and former 106 & Park Host Rocsi Diaz. The format will be focused on “real conversations” with various people from different backgrounds. It feels more like opposing points of view trying to find a middle ground, which is challenging in 2024.

According to Complex, Deion is all in on the show appropriately titled “We Got Time Today” which features a nod to his nickname as Primetime.

“This show is about tapping into the CULTURE,” Sanders said. “We’re going to LAUGH, DEBATE, INSPIRE and most importantly, we got time to TALK LIFE into our viewers while keeping things 100. I couldn’t do this with anyone else except for THE Rocsi Diaz, who I’m sure will keep me on my toes, and of course my friends over at Tubi, who I’ve been a BIG fan of for a long time now.”

Rosci is also excited about the new show and reveals they plan on keeping the talk show authentic in every way.

“I can’t wait to explore everything and have real, authentic conversations that the culture is missing, from fun to serious and like Deion said, you can count on us to keep it 100,” Diaz, who also currently hosts the More to the Story podcast, said.

During the modern era of streaming ways, Tubi has run at their own pace and it has greatly benefited the streaming service. Most streaming services claim there is something for everyone but only Tubi has something for everyone that isn’t tied to legacy content. Adding talk shows is one way to keep things fresh and original week to week.

Last week, CBS Mornings co-host Tony Dokoupil got himself dragged up and down the internet after going toe-to-toe with acclaimed author, educator, journalist, and activist Ta-Nehisi Coates during a panel discussion about Coates’ book The Message, which draws parallels between Israel’s mistreatment of Palestinians and the Jim Crow South in America.

Tony Dokoupil x Ta-Nehisi Coates

Source: Paul Zimmerman/WireImage / Getty

Apparently, Dokoupil took issue with Coates’ book because he highlighted the history of colonization and anti-Palestinian oppression instead of highlighting Israel’s “right to exist,” which is, by far, the most popular pro-Israel talking point, and has already been repeated ad nauseam by mainstream media outlets and politicians across the Western world, which is why Coates didn’t feel the need to include it in his book.

Now, Dokoupil’s aggressive line of questioning is being admonished by CBS News executives, who said the interview did not meet the editorial standards of the network. (We’ll circle back to that part in a sec.)

“I have to say, when I read the book, I imagine if I took your name out of it, took away the awards and the acclaim, took the cover off the book, the publishing house goes away, the content of that section would not be out of place in the backpack of an extremist,” Dokoupil said to Coates. “So then I found myself wondering, why does Ta-Nehisi Coates – who I’ve known for a long time, read his work for a long time, very talented, smart guy – leave out so much? Why leave out that Israel is surrounded by countries that want to eliminate it? Why leave out that Israel deals with terror groups that want to eliminate it? Why not detail anything of the First and the Second Intifada, the cafe bombings, the bus bombings, the little kids blown to bits? And is it because you just don’t believe that Israel in any condition has a right to exist?”

So, Dokoupil essentially opened the interview by telling Coates that if he wasn’t as popular, accomplished, and acclaimed as he is, nobody would like his little Jihad book, then he proceeded to chide him for not painting Israel as the victim in the conflict and Palestine and other surrounding Muslim countries as the terrorist-filled aggressors.

Coates responded to the loaded question more politely than many of us would have.

“Well I would say the perspective that you just outlined, there is no shortage of that perspective in American media,” Coates responded. “That’s the first thing I would say. I am most concerned always with those who don’t have a voice, with those who don’t have the ability to talk.

“I have asked repeatedly in my interviews whether there is a single network, mainstream organization in America with a Palestinian-American bureau chief or correspondent who actually has a voice to articulate their part of the world. I’ve been a reporter for 20 years,” he continued. “The reporters of those who believe most sympathetically about Israel and it’s right to exist don’t have a problem getting their voice out. But what I saw in Palestine, what I saw in the West Bank, what I saw in Haifa in Israel, what I saw in the South Hebron Hills, those were the stories that I have not heard and those were the stories that I was most occupied with.”

Coates’ perfectly reasonable answer didn’t appear to satisfy Dokoupil, who essentially repeated over and over again that Israel had a “right to exist” as if it were his one and only prepared talking point while Coates continued to try to educate him on how apartheid and power dynamics actually work.

It was an exhausting display of Black intellectualism vs. dedicated caucasity. The interview garnered a lot of negative publicity across social media, prompting CBS News executives Wendy McMahon and Adrienne Roark to address the issue during a daily editorial meeting with staffers on Monday.

“We will still ask tough questions. We will still hold people accountable. But we will do so objectively, which means checking our biases and opinions at the door,” Roark told staff members, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

It’s worth noting that while McMahon and Roark agreed that editorial standards were not met during the contentious interview, CBS chief legal correspondent Jan Crawford, did not agree.

“It sounds like we are calling out one of our anchors in a somewhat public setting on this call for failing to meet editorial standards for, I’m not even sure what,” Crawford reportedly protested. “I thought our commitment was to truth. And when someone comes on our air with a one-sided account of a very complex situation, as Coates himself acknowledges that he has, it’s my understanding that as journalists we are obligated to challenge that worldview so that our viewers can have that access to the truth or a fuller account, a more balanced account. And, to me, that is what Tony did.”

I suppose that’s arguable.

Source: Ismael Quintanilla / Getty

It’s also arguable that all Dokoupil did was reword the same question about Israel’s “right to exist repeatedly while ignoring all of the substance in Coates’ responses. After Coates pointed out that most media outlets already report on the conflict from a pro-Israel perspective, Dokoupil dismissively insisted,

“But if you were to read this book, you would be left wondering, ‘Why does any of Israel exist? What a horrific place committing horrific acts on a daily basis.’ So I think the question is central and key. If Israel has a right to exist, and if your answer is no, then I guess the question becomes why do the Palestinians have a right to exist? Why do 20 different Muslim countries have a right to exist?”

Although Coates never actually said the nation didn’t have a right to exist, Dokoupil just kept remixing his assertion that Coates did say it.

“For as sure as my ancestors were born into a country where none of them was the equal of any white man, Israel was revealing itself to be a country where no Palestinian is ever the equal of any Jewish person anywhere,” Coates wrote in his book, according to CNN.

The only time Dokoupil really acknowledged that Coates’ book focused on apartheid-style anti-Palestinian discrimination was when Coates recalled that his Palestinian guide in Israel was not able to “ride on certain roads,” or “get water in the same way that Israeli citizens” were able to.

“Why is that? Why is there no agency in this book for the Palestinians?” Dokoupil asked in response. “They exist in your narrative merely as victims of the Israelis, as though they were not offered peace at any juncture, as though they don’t have a stake in this as well.”

A lot of people took that as Dokoupil blaming Palestinian citizens for their own state-sanctioned discrimination.

I’ll just leave you with Coates’ response.

“Either apartheid is right or it’s wrong. It’s really, really simple. Either what I saw was right or it’s wrong,” he said. “I am against a state that discriminates against people on the base of ethnicity. I’m against that. There is nothing the Palestinians could do that would make that okay for me.”

And there it is.

Immediately following reports that Kanye West and his wife of almost two years, Bianca Censori, were headed for divorce, the couple have reunited.

Fans were convinced the rapper was on his way to divorce number two following reports from TMZ, which said on Oct. 7 that multiple sources close to the couple confirmed that the pair called it quits. According to the outlet, Ye and Bianca had been telling people around them they broke up a few weeks ago, leading Censori to take a trip to Australia, where she was spending time with her family.

The outlet went on to report that Kanye was telling people close to him he plans to live in Tokyo and divorce Bianca.

According to additional reports from Daily Mail, insiders claim the pair had already been “drifting apart” before a recent visit from Bianca’s family confirmed the end of their romance.

“They broke up some time ago,” a source told the outlet. “Bianca started to see the relationship in a new light when her friends and family voiced concerns about the way she was dressing in public and Kanye felt that she wasn’t as into him as she was in the beginning.”

The source continued, “There are no hard feelings but she couldn’t ignore her family when they asked her to explain the stranger parts of their relationship. They have broken up before so there is a chance they’ll reunite.”

But, despite Ye being spotted alone in Tokyo in recent days, Bianca joined him in Japan on Oct. 8, swiftly shutting down divorce rumors.

The couple went shopping at Dover Street Market in Tokyo, looking happier than ever as they took part in some PDA. In one photo, Censori put both of her hands on the rapper’s cheeks as she flashed a huge smile; Other photos from their trip saw the pair walking hand-in-hand through a mall corridor, clearly enjoying one another’s company.

Iman Shumpert is walking back rumors about his beach day with Amber Rose following romance speculation going crazy online.

Celebrity Sightings In Miami Beach - September 18, 2024

Just last month, the former NBA player was spotted in Miami having a relaxing beach day with anti-rape-activist-turned-Trump supporter, Amber Rose. On Oct. 7, TMZ got the chance to ask Shumpert about this outing when they spotted him in New York City, asking about the nature of his relationship with Rose.

According to Iman, the two of them have a completely platonic relationship, forming a friendship after meeting on College Hill: Celebrity Edition back in 2022.

“We went to College Hill together,” Shumpert explained to the paparazzi. “Any other time, y’all would’ve just let us eat, but I get it.”

When asked explicitly if there was anything “romantic” going on between them, the retired baller insisted, “Nah, that’s my peoples.”

This is the first time The Chi actor has been caught up in romance rumors since his split from his wife, Teyana Taylor.

The couple finalized their divorce in June 2024 after quietly filing in January of last year. News of their split didn’t hit the media until months later in September 2023 after Taylor publicly confirmed their separation, later citing in court documents “extreme emotional and mental abuse.”

According to legal docs, the singer alleged that her rising stardom angered Shumpert, and therefore, she “began to intentionally dim her light for her husband to try to have a harmonious and peaceful marriage.” She also claimed to have turned down various acting roles and other opportunities because he “did not want her to work,” but then complained when she stopped working after giving birth.

In their divorce, Shumpert was ordered to pay a “one-time seven-figure payment” and $8,000 in monthly child support, also covering private school fees for their two daughters.

Teyana and Iman tied the knot in 2016 after giving birth to their eldest daughter, Iman “Junie” Tayla Shumpert, a year prior. They welcomed their second daughter, Rue Rose Shumpert, in 2020.

A$AP Rocky opened up about his Fenty-fated relationship with Rihanna in his new cover story for W Magazine, which features exclusive photography by the Bajan beauty. Published on Oct. 8, the rapper and self-proclaimed “Fashion Killa,” shared insights into his love life and experiences as a father to their two children, Rza, 2, and Riot, 1. Throughout the feature, the New York native showcased some incredibly stylish outfits, including a custom Loewe jumpsuit, alongside pieces from Prada and Tiffany & Co.

Rocky Said He Knew Rihanna Would Be The Mother Of His Kids, Recalled How He & Rihanna First Met

Rocky is head over heels for Rihanna and when asked how he realized the megastar would be the mother of his kids, he gushed to W Magazine;

“I knew from when we were younger. We both did, I think. So it was only right when we got older. We just kind of reconnected.”

The joyful couple initially crossed paths in 2012, building a friendship that lasted for several years before their romance blossomed around 2019 or 2020, according to Rocky’s timeline. Reflecting on their first meeting, the rapper shared that they “locked eyes” outside a nightclub in that same year, where the singer came to his aid when a difficult bouncer denied him, the late Virgil Abloh, and a mutual friend entry.

“I was kicked out of this nightclub. They wasn’t giving me no access to it. This is when I’m just starting out, so nobody knows me,” he shared. “I was with Matthew Williams and Virgil. I was getting into it with the bouncers, and she came out. We just locked eyes. She didn’t even know us, but she was like, ‘Yo! Why y’all not letting him in? What’s wrong with you?! Let that man in!’”

A$AP Rocky Told W Magazine That He Loves Fatherhood

Rocky and Rih have been hooked on each other’s love ever since, taking great pride in the family they’ve created together. The rapper spoke affectionately about his two boys, Rza and Riot – born in 2022 and 2023 respectively – highlighting how, despite their young age, they’ve begun to showcase their own distinct personalities.

“Riot’s an extrovert—he’s just like his mom. Rza is more so like his dad, like me. And he’s my twin. He got his mom’s forehead, but he got everything else from me. I love my boy’s big forehead! I loved it on his mother.” He continued, “I think Rza’s warming up to Riot.”

Rocky is enjoying life as a father and his parenting journey has deeply inspired his forthcoming full-length project Don’t Be Dumb which was slated for release in August, but was pushed back due to sample clearances and leaks according to the rapper’s X post published Aug. 22. Fatherhood has profoundly shaped his perspective on life, influencing his daily routine and even the type of music that resonates with him.

“That sh*t changed my swag,” he added. “I’m such a dad, it’s f**king hilarious. I haven’t been in the gym in weeks. I come home, my kids are already in bed, asleep. I leave, they still asleep. But the sacrifices we make to put out something substantial…”

Awww, we love to see it!

Cissy Houston, the mother of the late Whitney Houston and a two-time Grammy winner singer, has died. She was 91.

Houston’s daughter-in-law confirmed to The Associated Press that Houston died Monday morning in her New Jersey home while under hospice care for Alzheimer’s disease.

“Our hearts are filled with pain and sadness. We loss the matriarch of our family,” Pat Houston, who said she passed away while surrounded by family, said in a statement adding that her mother-in-law’s contributions to popular music and culture are “unparalleled.”

“Mother Cissy has been a strong and towering figure in our lives,” the statement continued. “A woman of deep faith and conviction, who cared greatly about family, ministry, and community. Her more than seven-decade career in music and entertainment will remain at the forefront of our hearts.”

Houston, born Emily “Cissy” Houston, rose to fame as a member of The Sweet Inspirations, a vocal group that famously backed icons like Elvis Presley and Aretha Franklin. Still, Cissy’s most cherished role was as a mother to the late Whitney Houston. She served as Whitney’s earliest vocal coach and mentor, nurturing her daughter’s incredible talent from a young age when she sang gospel in church.

“You always gave without expecting anything in return and our love was the force that multiplied these blessings higher and higher,” wrote Cissy according to ESSENCE. “I never told you that when you were born the Holy Spirit told me that you would not be with me long and I thank God for the beautiful flower he allowed me to raise and cherish for 48 years.

She continued,

“How I love you Nippy and how I miss you, your beautiful smile, your special little things you used to say to me and sometimes you’d call just to say “hi Mommie, I love you so much,” I loved you so much more.”

Tragically, in 2015, Cissy lost her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina Brown who passed away from lobar pneumonia six months after being found unconscious in a bathtub.

Tia Mowry is opening up about how tough it is dealing with divorce–especially when you didn’t date anyone else prior to tying the knot.

13th Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards Luncheon, Cocktails, Beverly Wilshire, Los Angeles, USA - 06 Feb 2020

Source: Variety / Getty

During Friday’s premiere episode of her new reality series, Tia Mowry: My Next Act, the actress talked all about how getting married before ever having the chance to date has made divorce that much more difficult.

“I wasn’t even allowed to date until I was 18 years old,” the Sister, Sister alum admitted during the episode. “I met Cory when I turned 20 and I lost my virginity at 25. There, I said it! And then we got married! Boom!”

Later in the episode, Mowry also talked about her ex-husband being her “first everything” with her friend, Essence Atkins.

“You know I’ve never dated,” she revealed. “Cory was my first … everything!”

“That’s right you haven’t,” Atkins replied. “Right, I know!”

Tia also talked to Atkins, whose been through a divorce herself, how she got back into dating, which she said requires you to stop caring so much what people think.

“Thank you for that,” Mowry responded. “I lived my life for others, and I found validation with myself.”

The actress also went on to say that she got tired of people “thinking that everything was perfect” when she would go out to events with her then-husband, when in reality, she would go home at night and feel alone.

Despite the dating advice she got on the show, Tia isn’t necessarily looking to dip her feet into that world any time soon.

“Right now, it’s not something that I’m focusing on,” she revealed to E! News. “I’m just really focusing on myself, dating myself. I’m in this era of just self-discovery and learning more about love, learning what love is.”

Still, Mowry noted that her perspective on this subject could change very quickly.

“My outlook could change next month or five months from now,” she said. “But dating, I guess what I can say, if I’m being truly authentic, it’s not on my mind right now.”

As the star opens up about how her religious upbringing affected her life, fans across social media are expressing how sorry they feel for women–including Tia–who don’t get the chance to explore before jumping into marriage.

Cardi B is no stranger to online drama, but one thing she won’t stand for is body-shaming—especially after giving birth to her third child just one month ago. The Bronx rapper, known for her unapologetic attitude, took to social media to shut down rumors and insults aimed at her post-baby body.

After posting an update on her weight loss journey, Cardi shared with her followers that while she’s shedding pounds everywhere, her face still holds onto some extra weight.

In typical internet fashion, some users couldn’t resist taking this as an opportunity to criticize her figure, with one particular fan tweeting, “The fact Cardi B really did that to her body is pissing me off! Like y’all gotta start loving yourself, ladies! No way she should’ve f**ked her s**t up like that and she really thinks that s**t looks good too. Smh, it don’t Cardi, you still bae a lil bit, but you blew it.”

Cardi B Drops The Faja Facts On Her Post-Pregnancy Transformation

Oh, but Cardi wasn’t having it. In true Cardi B style, she immediately clapped back, tweeting: “Y’all really need to relax ..This is how my body REALLY LOOKS LIKE,” sharing photos of herself rocking a stunning nude black dress.

But that wasn’t the end of it. Another user took it a step further, body-shaming the rapper’s stomach, saying, “Babe, you still look crazy, and your stomach always looks like it’s about to rip apart. Focusing so much on how you look right now shouldn’t even be a thing because you just pushed out a child 😵‍💫 We gotta stop this.”

Cardi, never one to let an insult slide, responded in her usual fiery way, writing:

“B***h, you literally look like a f**in’ potato yet you talking bout my looks with a passion. This why I be dragging you b*****s by y’all draws, cause b***h why you got so much nerves.”

But beyond the witty comebacks and humor, Cardi made sure to clarify some facts. She retweeted a post from a fan pointing out that women are typically advised to wait at least six months after giving birth before considering plastic surgery. Cardi had only given birth a month ago, making the surgery rumors even more ridiculous.

For Cardi, this latest round of body shaming couldn’t have come at a worse time. Between balancing life as a new mom, handling her highly publicized divorce, working on her next studio album, and prepping for her performance at One Music Fest, the last thing she needs to worry about is defending her body.

Yet, the almost birthday girl’s refusal to be silenced proves once again why she’s such a powerful voice for women, especially those who face relentless scrutiny over their appearances.

At least Jack saw Shaq and Kobe win a three-peat championship, Kobe win by himself, and LeBron James win in the Bubble. Despite having season tickets for a decade Spike has only seen a few winning seasons and never spoke ill of his beloved team.

DDG and Joe Budden are beefing, but the real winner is the internet at the stunt kings drag each other about who is less relevant.

After announcing his split from Halle Bailey via a social media statement that no one asked for, the YouTube personality has been busy responding to comments and shutting down rumors about their relationship. Though the internet has been dragging him for days, it seems that DDG reached his breaking point when Joe Budden mentioned their breakup during a recent episode of his podcast.

“Ion be trippin bout the girls sayin sh*t cuz I’m used to it. It’s all love. But u n****s wit platforms gon get a response fasho,” he said in a post to X.

His comments came after a clip began to circulate of Budden accusing him of being a clout chaser and only being relevant because of his attachment to his talented ex-girlfriend.

“Every time I see his name, it’s attached to hers, and it’s typically in some clout chaser fashion. So that makes me look at him a different way, and hopefully, I get to look at him a lot less now that they’ve broken up,” Budden said during the episode.

DDG clapped back with a series of tweets, including a side-by-side comparison of Budden’s most popular tune’s RIAA status and that of his own singles.

“‘Pump It Up’ went gold after 20 years u old b***h. @Joe Budden I’m on u, ” he said in response.

He continued his verbal bashing with an Instagram story post of “Pump It Up” with his own real-time music review.

“ngl gang this s*** a** LMFAO @joebudden.”

Chile. In the meantime, Halle has not confirmed or denied the split nor has she made any comments about the surrounding conversations. She was also not tagged in the “breakup announcement” posted by her chaotic coparent. Let’s just hope our girl is finally free from the mess.
