After a bit of a hiatus, Cupcakke is making a comeback to music and it’s fierce.

Back in May, the Chicago rapper released a double music video for her two songs “Grilling Ni**as” and “Lawd Jesus”, giving some of the best bars of her career.

And the looks were top-notch as well.

Cupcakke makes a return not too long after she announced that she was quitting the music industry. According to Billboard, in September of last year, Cupcakke went on Instagram Live and said she was worried about “corrupting the youth” with her graphic sexual songs. She explained that whenever she drops a sexual tune it “overpowers the ‘non-sexual’ music,” and she said that she worried the “media” and society wouldn’t accept her body type. She also went on to reveal that she lost $700,000 in a casino and ended up developing “a very bad gambling addiction.”

But despite all her struggles, the 23-year-old is back in music and celebrating life.

She even seems to be embracing her body more. Cupcakke might as well be the unofficial spokeswoman for Fashion Nova Curve — a line specifically geared towards plus-size women — considering she rocks them all the time.

We’re definitely not mad.

Check out some of her beautiful and sexy fits below and be on the look-out for more music in the future.

Zendaya never really disappoints when it comes to her red carpet looks — but for Sunday night’s Emmy Awards, she totally outdid herself. The Euphoria star hit the red carpet in a stunning, sheer, green corset topped off with soft, flowy ruby red wavy hair.

Although she’s just a presenter at this year’s show, next year her show Euphoria is eligible for nominations. Either way, we’re just happy to see such magic and beauty coming at bus all at once. But Zendaya is far from new to this. She’s true to this.

Ever since she stepped on the scene as a Disney star,  Z has been one of the young stars that kids could look up to. The older she got, the actress became gold woman fashion goals. Before Kylie Jenner tried to convince folks that she was the queen of hair, Zendaya has been showing and proving, hunty.

Today marks a major milestone for one of Hollywood’s favorite young stars.

Mr. Jaden Smith has finally reached the big two, one.

It seems like it was just yesterday he was snatching hearts with his breakout role in The Pursuit of Happyness with pops Will Smith. Now, the 21-year-old has built a successful acting and music career with memorable roles and blockbuster tracks. Just last week, he proved his staying power with the release of his second album Erys. Jaden even plays his part in activism, having donated a water filtration system to Flint, Michigan, which is still recovering from their unclean water crisis.

Of course, his star parents are already celebrating their son before Jaden could even post on social media. His mom Jada Pinkett Smith wrote on Instagram with a video, “After my first trimester… being pregnant with you were some of the happiest moments of my life. You were tangible joy. When you were born you became my first experience of tangible love.”

Will went the more funny route, writing, “Jaden is 21 today!! The equation still astounds me… Love + Tequila = a Person. 🙂 Happy Bday, J-Diggy.”

Along with the music, movies and his celebrity parents, Jaden is also known for his daring fashion sense. Over the years, he’s stunned red carpets or made headlines for rocking the most unconventional outfits.

I mean, the man dressed up in a whole a$$ white Batman suit for his “Batman” music video.

He’s definitely one artist not afraid to go there.

Retailer’s Lingerie Collection Is For Women Of All Complexions

E-commerce retailer LIVELY has debuted a line of lingerie that celebrates diversity of shape and skin tone.

The new “Go Nude” collection comes in five skin-mimicking shades that were picked by the brand’s more than 70,000 strong online community, with bra sizes that go up to 44DDD/46DD.

“We took inspiration from athleisure and combine it with the functionality of lingerie,” Michelle Cordeiro Grant, founder & CEO of LIVELY told BOSSIP. “We believe we are the bridge between high style and ultimate comfort.”

All of the line’s bras are $35, and the panties are $10, Grant said.

The former retail executive said she decided to start LIVELY after noticing a void in the lingerie industry for inclusive styles that she’d want her own daughter to wear – and added that the bras were great for new moms.

“How do we start to embrace our uniqueness as opposed to aspiring to be a supermodel and constantly feeling disappointed in ourselves?” Grant said she asked herself while conceiving LIVELY.

Besides lingerie, LIVELY sells swimwear and has a new loungewear line dropping this month.

The biggest party in fashion is just around the corner, and if you’re like us, you’re pretty much feigning to see what the star’s are wearing to this year’s Met Gala.

“Met gala is tmwroooooooooo can’t wait to see all the fits. I’m rating to God riri makes an appearance”-  @flowersofhs

“Can’t wait to see which celebs just don’t follow the theme for the met gala this year and look like shit”- @serendipitty

Staying to true to tradition, the Met Gala — also known as the Costume Institute Benefit — will be taking place on the first Monday of May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Celebs like Rihanna and Cardi B slayed last year’s “Heavenly Bodies” theme. Male stars like Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan showed up and showed out last year, too.

The theme for the Costume Institute’s spring 2019 exhibition will be Camp: Notes on Fashion.” The party and the accompanying exhibit, opening Thursday, comes from a Susan Sontag essay published in 1964. In a recent video for Vogue, Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour, said of the theme :

“The only advice I ever really give to [Costume Institute director] Andrew [Bolton] is, whatever the title of the exhibition is, make sure that everybody understands it immediately. Has created a little bit of confusion.”

Michael Mamp, fashion professor at Central Michigan University:

“Camp is about stepping outside of the boundaries of what society typically expects. And you see more and more people pushing against those boundaries, especially with gender . Dress and fashion is an incredibly powerful tool to explore that. When we look at early films, particularly of the 1930s, we see these celebrations of beauty that is exaggerated and clearly artificial.”

He added:

“Camp uses the artificial to express the authentic. When you look at camp iconography, it’s about individuals who have been willing and who have tried — either through mannerism, or dress, or performance — to step outside of their prescribed box or gender expectation.”

There are lots of ways to approach this year’s theme, and we can’t wait to see how stars will pull it off. But some of the looks from last year’s show still has us gagging.

Tickets for the 2019 Gala are reportedly selling for $35,000 and table prices start at $200,000. Last year’s gala raised more than $13 million for the Costume Institute, money that goes towards future exhibits, conservation of the costumes, and purchasing outfits and accessories.

R& B Singer Launches New Clothing Line, “Jeff Redd Apparel”

He’s known for looking dapper on stage, and now New Jack Swing singer Jeff Redd is bringing his sharp suits to the masses.

The singer, known for his hit “You Called and Told Me,” from the “Strictly Business” soundtrack, has launched his own line of custom made suits, called “Jeff Redd Apparel.”

Redd said his look was inspired by the performers he watched growing up, like The Temptations, James Brown and Jackie Wilson.

“Those guys were always dressed on stage, and I wanted to bring that concept to my apparel,” Redd told BOSSIP. “I’m just taking a page out of the 60s and 70s when guys would get dressed up…It’s really about bring the man back to being a gentleman.”

But Redd said the line will also be affordable, with suit jackets costing around $125 and entire suits retailing for about $200.

“With custom made, you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg for it,” Redd said. “Everything for me doesn’t always have to be overpriced.”

The Mount Vernon-raised crooner said he’s getting the clothing line for previews later on this summer and plans to launch it through his website in the fall.

He also said he’d like to eventually branch out into accessories and skin care.
