Chrissy Teigen continues to prove herself as a formidable force against Trump and now she’s revealed that there’s a process to her insults.

The model and media personality recently went viral when she called Donald Trump a “pu**y a$$ bit**” on Twitter. The comment was a response to Trump referring to Teigen as John Legend‘s “filthy mouthed wife” when he was mad that he wasn’t getting enough credit for his criminal justice reform act. Trump tagged everyone in his whiny tweet except Teigen. This is when she responded:

“lol what a pu**y a$$ bit**. tagged everyone but me. an honor, mister president.”

Receipts below.

Teigen and John Legend then went on to tag-team Trump with a flurry of tweets and eventually “PAB” and “pu**y a$$ bi**ch” started to trend on Twitter.

Apparently, a lot of thought went into Teigen’s and Legend’s insults. She went on Ellen recently and explained:

“We spent the entire rest of the night just sitting…next to each other handing each other our phone. ‘Should I say this? Should I say this? No. Should I say this? No. No, it has to be funnier. No, no ’cause we’re mad. Yeah we’re mad!’ [laughter] And it just went on all night.”

Tracee Ellis Ross Covers Essence Magazine Hair Issue

Seriously though. Is there anything that Tracee Ellis Ross can’t do? The actress and CEO of Pattern Beauty graced the cover of Essence Magazine’s October Hair Issue and literally stopped the Internet with flawless flicks from the spread.

In the mag, Miss Ross: The Beauty Boss gushed about the new chapter in her life as the creator and founder of her very own Hair Care Company which celebrates the different curl patterns of naturalistas all over the globe.

“It’s called Pattern because it is about the magical patterns of our hair. I am launching a haircare line for curly, coily and tight, textured hair to empower people and meet the unmet needs of our community at a price point we can afford, because we know that we need a lot of product in all this hair.”

But just as the case is for most women of color, it was a long, hard journey for Tracee to embrace the beauty in her Blackness.

“It took me way longer than I wish it had. I’d catch glimpses of people who saw beauty in ways I had missed because of the blinders society gave me. Then one day I was watching a Nina Simone documentary and I thought: Wait. It should be her name next to the word “beauty.” Why was I sold the wrong vision? My heart knows that’s beauty.”

However, despite how long the journey to pride took, the Black-ish star has always been relatable and woke.

“A lot of people are awake right now, and thank God. I think I’m learning. I think I’m growing. There is a war that is happening, a fight for control over women’s bodies. Children in cages. Concentration camps in our country, right now. It keeps me up at night.”

We love of woke, inspiring CEO! Pattern Beauty Products are officially available for purchase at patternbeauty.com. Hit the flip for more Tracee Ellis Ross in Essence Magazine’s October Hair Issue.

This is Union’s second project with Spectrum Originals, considering she produces and stars in their series L.A.’s Finest. The Bad Boys TV spinoff co-stars Jessica Alba, and it has a buddy cop dramedy vibe to it. The series was just renewed for a Season 2 earlier this year.

Just as makeup does for some women — beards have the ability to transform men into totally different people. Most women feel that the thicker and more groomed the facial hair, the more attractive and manly you are. However, there are some who feel that a clean face is the way to go.  At the end of the day, facial hair is a subjective thing, but are men with beards more desirable?

According to the New York Times:

Barnaby Dixson, a human behavioral ecologist at the University of Queensland and a co-author of the beard length study, research has also found that facial hair is associated with some antisocial traits, such as aggression and social dominance. While these traits might not be pleasant if you’re looking for a fun fling, they might be alluring if you want an alpha male to support your family and fend off predators. It’s not just women who prefer bearded alpha males — men also prefer men with facial hair. Dr. Dixson and colleagues asked 1,577 men and women from Brazil and the Czech Republic about facial hair. Compared to heterosexual women, gay men had stronger preferences for men with more facial hair.

Usually, we honor the beard-toters during No Shave November. But today is National No Beard Day, and guys often celebrate by shaving their beloved beard and starting from scratch. That made us think of some of our favorite beards in Hollywood and if we prefer the men with or without the facial hair?

Once again, it seems like A24 is coming for hearts and Oscars with a new trailer for an upcoming drama. The studio known for such award-winners like Moonlight dropped the trailer for their highly-anticipated movie Waves.

According to Shadow and Act, the film is written and directed by Trey Edward Shults and stars heavy hitters like Sterling K. Brown along with Kelvin Harrison Jr., Renee Elise Goldsberry, Taylor Russell, Alexa Demie and Lucas Hedges. The flick was met with critical acclaim at the Telluride Film Festival and it’ll head to the Toronto International Film Festival this week.

The description of the film reads:

“Set against the vibrant landscape of South Florida, and featuring an astonishing ensemble of award-winning actors and breakouts alike, Waves traces the epic emotional journey of a suburban African-American family—led by a well-intentioned but domineering father—as they navigate love, forgiveness, and coming together in the aftermath of a loss. From acclaimed director Trey Edward Shults, Waves is a heartrending story about the universal capacity for compassion and growth even in the darkest of times.”

You can check out the trailer for yourself below!

Sterling K. Brown is still drawing in a major audience thanks to his lead role on the NBC series This Is Us. Meanwhile, Kelvin Harrison Jr. has had sort of a breakout role in this year’s psychological drama Luce, starring Octavia Spencer and Naomi Watts. With Waves aiming for a November release, it’s a prime candidate for Oscar season and surely the whole cast could cement their star status.

What do you think? Will you be heading to the theaters?

Wendy Williams is not stopping anytime soon, despite health issues and marriage woes. Along with gearing up for a biopic, Wendy is lending her voice to the stand-up comedy world with an upcoming special she’s shopping around to premium networks and streaming platforms.

According to Deadline, Wendy is pushing the special fresh off her own live stand-up tour earlier this year. The T.V. special will be called Wendy Williams & Friends Presents: For The Record and the 90-minute show will feature Wendy’s take on a variety of topics. Of course, she’ll tackle the ups and downs of her own life, but she’ll also tackle the tabloid headlines similar to how she operates on The Wendy Williams Show. The special will also include other stand-ups like Royale Watkins, Carmen Barton, Mark Viera and newcomer Kristen Sivills.

The special will be produced by Back Roads Entertainment, which is responsible for BET’s 50 Cent show 50 Central.

Wendy explained:

“Listen, people are talking about me and my life, but they have no idea. And since comedy has always been the best source of therapy for me, I’m using this special to tell some really good stories and have my comedian friends do some great comedy we can all relate to.”

It should definitely be a “Hot Topic” once released.

Now to find the right network!

Beyonce’s Family & Friends Wish Her A Happy Birthday

If the Beyhive has any say so, September 4th will be a National Holiday in a few years! On this fine day, the Queen of Entertainment, Mrs. Beyonce Knowles-Carter, celebrates her 38th trip around the sun — and for some reason, we feel like it’s our Bey-day with all the gifts she’s given us. Fans took to social media to honor and celebrate the music icon with sweet words, classic gifs and lots of reflection on the magic she gave us.

But family and friends that know Beyonce spoke more about her huge heart than her many hits.

Over the weekend, Bey attended hubby Jay-Z’s Made In America Festival where the crowd serenaded her with an impromptu Happy Birthday selection. The Stevie Wonder version of course.

As always, Beyonce aka Sasha Fierce, aka Bey aka Queen Bee, aka Mother of The Hive deserves all the love and respect she’s getting today. Happy Birthday, Bey! What’s your favorite Beyonce song of all time?
