Many 90s T.V. babies will always love Tia and Tamera Mowry for their hit sitcom Sister, Sister. Since the show ended in 1999, some things have remained the same with the two stars, while other things have definitely changed.

On Tamera’s end, she’s still managed to maintain a wholesome image, but in a grown, sophisticated way. Don’t get me wrong, Tia still makes content with family in mind (shout out to Family Reunion on Netflix), but Tamera tends to lean on the conservative side when it comes to ideals such as saving it before marriage and creating a family unit.

However, whatever conservative veil Tamera might have was lifted on an episode of The Real this week. In one segment, which featured guest host Amanda Seales, Tamera discussed how she learned about pleasure before she met her husband Adam Housley.

“I’m really embarrassed,” Tamera started before Loni Love shouted, “Hit me!”

Then Tamera went into it:

“So as you know, I’ve waited a really long time to have sex. But the thing is, is I knew what I liked and what I wanted because I can remember reading a magazine, actually it was ESSENCE, and it was about you know, sex education, pleasing yourself, and knowing what pleases you and what you like. So even though I wasn’t having sex I knew what I liked so I was in touch with myself. So, you know, once I got married with Adam and all of that, I knew what I wanted.”

Well, alright Miss Mowry-Housley.

Loni then pointed out that knowing what pleases you is important “because a lot of women don’t know what an orgasm is.”

Tamera responded by further explaining, “You learn about the g-spot, obviously. Learn how to find it. Mhm. Then you learn that you can have an orgasm two ways. One outside and then penetration. So once I knew where those spots were I was like…I swear to God I’m so embarrassed. You know, when Adam and I got together I was like ‘No, no, no babe, oh right here, right here’ and he liked that. That honesty, you guys, we’ve been married for almost nine years. He always pleases me first. I’m always first.”

Peep Tamera’s sex education below.

[embedded content]

Back in 2013, Tamera revealed that she didn’t lose her virginity until she was 29.

“I don’t know how to explain this. I’m religious, so I waited until I was 29 to lose my virginity,” she said. “You may not understand this [but] I did it, then I felt guilty, then I became celibate until I got married.”

Now the mother of two is happily married to journalist Adam Housley, and she’s letting him know what she wants and how she wants it.

We not mad Tamera!

Peppermint

Source: Jackie Brown / Splash News

Peppermint, a.k.a. Agnes Moore, is continuing to build her acting career after first gaining prominence as the season 9 runner-up on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

This year, she made a memorable appearance in the FX show Pose and now she’s taking on the role of a pastor in the CBS dramedy God Friended Me.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Broadway actress and LGBTQ+ activist will be taking on the role for a two-episode arc starting on Sunday, October 6.

Peppermint’s character, Pastor Olivia, leads a LGBTQ+ friendly congregation. A series regular, Ali (played by Javicia Leslie), joins the church after leaving her father’s (Joe Morton) Harlem Episcopal Church.

The whole series revolves around Miles (played by Brandon Micheal Hall), an atheist podcaster whose life is completely flipped when he receives a Facebook friend request from God.

When talking about her role with Entertainment Weekly, Peppermint said, “This role is proof that we’ve come so far. A transgender pastor is not something you’d see being written or cast even five years ago. This season, they are raising the bar both in front and behind the camera. You ain’t ready, y’all!”

Peppermint became the first Drag Race contestant to enter the competition as an out transgender woman. She was also the first out trans woman to originate a principal role on Broadway for the 2018 Go-Go’s-themed musical Head Over Heels.

God Friended Me will make its season 2 premiere on Sunday, September 29 at 8:30 p.m. (due to Sunday Night Football). Peppermint’s episode is set to air in the show’s regular time slot on Sunday, October 6 at 8 p.m.

If you don’t have Ta-Nehisi Coates’ new book The Water Dancer, you need to pick it up, like….TOMORROW.

Oprah has been stanning for the novel ever since she announced it as the first book for her new Apple TV+ original series Oprah’s Book Club.

“It is one of the best books I’ve ever read in my entire life, right up there in the Top 5,” she told her bestie Gayle King, on CBS This Morning on Monday.

The Water Dancer is Coates’ first novel, and it’s a sci-fi story about Hiram Walker, a man born into slavery on a Virginia plantation. He discovers he has a power called Conduction that lets him manipulate time and space. His journey leads him out of his life as one of the “Tasked” and into a world of resistance fighters and abolitionists.

“I was enthralled, I was devastated. I felt hope, I felt gratitude, I felt joy — I mean, it’s the range of emotions,” Oprah said of the book. “That’s why I think it has everything that a novel is supposed to.”

Coates is known for such work as his acclaimed 2015 non-fiction book Between the World and Me and his run as the author of the Black Panther comic series.

The Water Dancer was released on September 24. Coates is set to discus the novel with Oprah on November 1 in the premiere episode of her Book Club show.

Until then, Oprah has been spreading the gospel like a hometown evangelist, getting ALL the celebs to read Coates’ book. Scroll down to find out who’s been keeping their head in the pages!

Tekashi69 Docuseries Coming To Snapchat

Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s super public and highly controversial trial has played out on our timelines for over a week now. And thanks to Snapchat, we’ll get to see even more on the troubled rapper’s life without having to put our phones down. The popular social next announced earlier this week that they plan to launch several original series on the platform, and one of them includes a docuseries about Tekashi.

TMZ reports:

Snap’s launching their first documentary-style franchise called “VS The World” and T69 will kick off the first season. It is being produced by Complex, following his sudden skyrocket to fame in 2017, and his eventual crumbling in 2018 when he got arrested, indicted on RICO charges and incarcerated as a result.

The doc is set to hit Snapchat this Fall, which means the latest developments in Tekashi’s trial will most likely be featured in it. Sources say that “VS The World” will include interviews with people who were close to 69 including DJ Akademiks, Ebro Darden, Adam22, Tory Lanez and Cuban Doll. The new Snapchat shows will begin airing this fall on the app’s Discover page and will also include a doc on transgender beauty icon Nikita Dragun (Sirens Media), as well new episodes of Bhad Bhabie’s show.

SMH, hate to see it. Will you be watching?

Say what you want about Karlie Redd, but she’s always been an open book and a low-key hustler. Zendaya never really disappoints when it comes to her red carpet looks — but for Sunday night’s Emmy Awards, she totally outdid herself. The Euphoria star hit the red carpet in a stunning, sheer, green corset topped off with soft, flowy ruby red wavy hair.

Although she’s just a presenter at this year’s show, next year her show Euphoria is eligible for nominations. Either way, we’re just happy to see such magic and beauty coming at bus all at once. But Zendaya is far from new to this. She’s true to this.

Ever since she stepped on the scene as a Disney star,  Z has been one of the young stars that kids could look up to. The older she got, the actress became gold woman fashion goals. Before Kylie Jenner tried to convince folks that she was the queen of hair, Zendaya has been showing and proving, hunty.
