Was Raz B Driven Off Tour By Another B2K Group Member

The Millennium Tour has been one of the biggest highlights of 2019 so far, but it hasn’t been without it’s bump bump bumps! On Friday B2K announced that Raz B would be sitting out their Florida dates.

To Our Fans,
Raz B has made the brave decision to take some time off to focus on his health and well-being, and will not be performing at the Florida dates of The Millennium Tour. We send our love and full support to our brother as he embarks on this self care journey. We love you all and can’t wait to see you in Jacksonville!
Love,
B2K

The move comes after a recent domestic violence arrest and comments several weeks ago from Raz B on Instagram stating that he didn’t feel safe because he thought Chris Stokes was around and that he would be quitting the tour. The following day all four group members made a video clearing things up to assure fans the tour would continue with Raz.

BUT an inside source tells BOSSIP exclusively that despite that united front, Raz B’s stressors came from within the band, saying one of his fellow members has been trolling Raz B, who suffers from extreme PTSD.

Several weeks ago, the source says J. Boog antagonized Raz B at the B2K Meet & Greet in Houston by wearing a shirt that says I DON’T FEEL SAFE.

What does Raz B’s body language here say to you?

“I’m not sure why more people don’t seem to realize that Boog is close friends and business partners with Chris Stokes,” the insider shared with BOSSIP.

The relationship doesn’t seem to be something the two hide at all. Earlier this year Boog released a movie with Chris Stokes.

Anybody else notice Boog did most of the talking after Raz’s breakdown in March?

Hmmmm… Real interesting. It doesn’t seem like it would make sense to sabotage your own tour — but it also doesn’t make sense to wear that t-shirt. Do you believe J. Boog has been antagonizing Raz B? Or do you think Raz just wasn’t ready to revisit his rocky past on the road?

It can be pretty difficult to watch folks share beautiful photos with their moms or even reminisce about moments with their mother when your mom is no longer here.

“Mother’s day can be a very hard day if you’ve lost your mom, or if you don’t have a good relationship with her. if any of you need a mom today i’m happy to be that for you, I love you all”- @HolyShnitt

But don’t fret. According to Jane Greer, Ph.D., a New York-based marriage and family therapist:

“It can be really, really hard to go about celebrating the day, especially if you’ve recently lost your mother,” she tells us. “And I recognize that. But it’s so important to do so. It’s so important to continue to celebrate your mother and her spirit, and to realize that even though you won’t be together in a physical sense this year, she’s with you in spirit.”

It may not be the easiest thing to do, but there are plenty of ways to navigate Mother’s Day without a mom. Greer added:

“It can be incredibly helpful and calming to engage in an activity that you and she used to do together, especially if a sentimental location is involved. If you used to celebrate by taking her out to brunch at a favorite local spot, continue ordering her beloved blueberry pancakes. If you used to frequent a certain coffee shop together, head back there today and drink a cup in her honor. Remind yourself that her legacy lives on in all of these things.”

Whatever you decide, just know that this Mother’s Day, you are not alone and an extra prayer goes up for you today.

“Happy Mother’s Day to the sisters who take care of their siblings almost as much, if not more than their mom, your family would be lost without you.” @Heartile

“Happy Mother’s Day to all my beautiful friends. Hope you get to do whatever you want to do today! Also for those of us who have lost our beloved mothers, hugs and I feel they are always with us. Their smile, their guidance, their love” @LondonGal_28

If you’re a motherless child this Mother’s Day, try to indulge in things that lift your spirits and honor your beloved mommy. And don’t think for a second that people have forgotten about you on this day. Let Tupac Shakur‘s sweet message to the motherless carry your spirit on this special day!

Minnesota Teacher Placed On Leave For Using N-Word Toward Students

A middle school teacher in Minnesota has been placed on leave after a video showing her using a racial slur while speaking to students went viral, according to the district earlier this week.

Saint Paul Public Schools Superintendent Joe Gothard promised to take aggressive action after footage was posted online of teacher Wendy Brilowski using the N-word toward her Highland Park Middle School students.

Brilowski can be heard saying ” f—— n——” in the video, which the district verified as being authentic to NBC News. Another staff member tried to excuse the behavior, saying, “she’s repeating what you’re saying” after the slur was used, but the short video clip does not show any students speaking prior to the teacher’s comments.

The district did not provide more detail on the context of what happened before or after the video was taken, but did confirm the incident occurred during school hours.  Gothard also apologized in a video to parents, adding that foul and racist language has no place in the district.

“As educators, we have to be held to a higher standard and we know that this situation represents a failure on our part,” Gothard said. “And we will not fall silent in the face of racism in our schools.”

Brandy Coleman, the mother of one of the students, told NBC-affiliate KARE that the video was the boiling point of tensions between Brilowski and her daughter that had been simmering over the past couple of months. According to her daughter, the teacher had previously called her and other students “negroes,” the mother told KARE.

“It breaks my heart that I didn’t know the magnitude of the situation so that I could intervene before that video,” Coleman said.

Pras Michel Charged In Obama Campaign Donation Scheme

Former Fugees member Pras Michel has been charged with campaign finance violations that took place during the 2012 United States presidential race.

According to the four-count indictment, Pras has been accused of funneling foreign money to a super PAC that allegedly supported Barack Obama’s reelection campaign. According to reports from TMZ, the legal document doesn’t specifically mention Obama’s name, but does point to a number of instances where the artist was photographed with the former president.

Federal prosecutors are accusing the Fugees co-founder of conspiring with Malaysian businessman Jho Low to hide the source of these funds. The scheme is said to have involved using falsified records to funnel millions of dollars from foreign accounts to the U.S. That money ended up being split up among “straw donors,” who would then proceed to make small, more discreet donations to the PAC over time.

“Mr. Michel is extremely disappointed that so many years after the fact the government would bring charges related to 2012 campaign contributions,” Pras’ attorney Barry Pollack said about the incident in a statement to CNN. “Mr. Michel is innocent of these charges and looks forward to having the case heard by a jury.”

Michel is facing charges of conspiracy, making a false statement, and two counts of falsifying records. Pras and Low were both named in the DOJ’s investigation of the 1Malaysia Development Brand scandal.

“According to the allegations in the complaint, Michel and [former Justice Department official George Higginbotham] defrauded U.S. financial institutions and laundered millions of dollars into the United States as part of an effort to improperly influence the Department’s investigation into the massive embezzlement and bribery scheme involving 1MDB,” Assistant Attorney General Benczkowski said in 2018. “The Criminal Division and our law enforcement partners will do everything we can to trace, seize, and forfeit the proceeds of foreign corruption that flow through the U.S. financial system.”

Steve Harvey Tapes Final Episode Of ‘Steve’

This is probably why this man can’t sleep…SMH.

“Steve”, the daytime talk series lead by Steve Harvey for the past seven years, has come to an end despite having great ratings. The final episode of the show was filmed just this week. Harvey’s wife Marjorie shared the good luck smooch she planted on her hubby right before cameras started to film for a final time.

It’s worth noting that “Steve” didn’t go out sad! This season, “Steve” averaged about 1.8 million viewers a week, putting it at No. 5 among syndicated talk shows behind “Dr. Phil,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Live with Kelly and Ryan” and “Maury.” SMH.

But why was it canceled? Scroll down to read why…

According to Variety, Harvey lost his spot arbitrarily after NBC announced plans to do a talk show with Kelly Clarkson. There was no other reason reported. Shady af!

The pre-taped episodes are set to run through June. Steve ran for seven years on NBC, with Harvey one of the few people of color with a successful talk show in the daytime slot in years. The talk show was previously pushed as The Steve Harvey Show but changed styles and tone after Endeavor’s IMG Original Content reached a deal with Harvey in 2017 that included him receiving a majority stake in the show.

Steve doesn’t take the cancellation of his successful daytime show as a loss at all. Hit the flip to hear the speech he gave to his crew after the final episode was taped.

You can still catch Steve Harvey, 62, on ‘Family Feud’ and hosting plenty of special TV event like “Miss Universe Pageant”  in the future. What do YOU think about this?

Omari Hardwick Talks Backlash Over Beyoncé Kiss

Omari Hardwick has been keeping quiet about the backlash he faced after embracing and kissing Beyoncé at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards, but this week he broke his silence and explained what was REALLY going on.

Speaking about fatherhood and raising his daughter Nova in an interview with Global Grind, the Power actor says that night he was just worried about his baby girl because she’d scratched her cornea. Omari says both Beyoncé and Jay-Z asked about Nova that night, which then led to an extended chat with Hov and the viral moment with Bey.

From Global Grind:

Criticized for how he interacted with Beyoncé at the award show, Omari had yet to discuss the moment publicly until explaining during our interview that, that night he was simply a worried father thanking his friends who’d expressed concern for his daughter throughout the night.

“She has ironically been injured in two very historical moments for me,” Omari told Global Grind when asked about Nova. “Her cornea was scratched the night of the Image Awards. The length of [my] talk with Jay was him asking me about her eye. The length of the hug with Bey was her asking about her eye. I give the speech and I bring up her eye,” he recalls.

Describing another moment when his daughter was hurt, Omari went on to tell us Nova’s head had been “busted by her little brother.” “Her eye is scratched by him the night of the Image Awards. A month to maybe a month and a half later, within the time of Nipsey’s death (who was a friend), now her head is busted,” he said, eyes wide with panic. “So, being a father of a daughter, makes it to where the MET experience for me might’ve been the most slow motion, beautifully embraced reality… walking through those long halls of that gallery… because I was thinking so much, on that long walk through those artifacts, about Nova. I kept thinking about Nova,” he revealed, referencing his appearance alongside Dapper Dan at the 2019 MET Gala earlier this week.

Omari also said Jay is like a big bro, so there’s no way he wouldn’t show Beyoncé love.

In an earlier sidebar, Omari explained that while the world knows him as Ghost, Jay-Z knows him as a little brother, saying “Jay-Z would’ve punched me in my face if I didn’t hug his wife. He would’ve said ‘n*gga, you don’t see Bey?’”

He tells the site that at no point in his life, even before having his daughter, did he think disrespecting women was cool…

“My honor and my respect for women – while you have idiot fanbases who go ‘Watch your wife around Omari’ – I got a wife (A), so f*ck you. I love you, but f*ck you (B). (C), I respect women so much prior to Nova being born that once Nova got to Earth… man, it doubled my respect for women. But I had it already ’cause I had a pop, who validated my existence as a man, so I didn’t think demeaning women was ever cool.”

Having a roommate could be one of the best experiences in your life, or one of the worst. As millennials living in this economy, it’s pretty safe to say that if most of us either live with our parents or share a space with someone else. According to the Pew Research:

In 1995, the earliest year with comparable data, 55 million adults (28.8%) lived in a shared household. In 2017, nearly 79 million adults (31.9% of the adult population) lived in a shared household – that is, a household with at least one “extra adult” who is not the household head, the spouse or unmarried partner of the head.

Sharing a space with a stranger has become so common place that some millennials fear that they may never live on their own.

@OhJuliatweets: “My friend from college lives in Paris and pays the equivalent of $900 USD/month for a 1-bedroom can you imagine living in a major city that isn’t fueled by bottomless greed and extortionately expensive to the point where you have to have roommates until you’re 40 wow hard pass/”

@KaleBHorton: “Boomers love to tell millennials that they should be thrilled to work 14 hour days in exchange for the privilege of getting their ass kicked all day by impotent old dudes named either Jim or Mark and going home to a studio apartment with 19 roommates.”

Don’t get us wrong, there are many perks to having a roommate. Obviously, one of the biggest perks is advantage of having a roommate is the ability to split the cost of rent and utilities, which means you’ll be able to afford a nicer, larger apartment than you could if you were living by yourself. You can also split the cost of other shared items, like groceries, and that’s always a plus. But picking the right roommate that aligns with your taste and ideals is the tricky part. Some folks just aren’t meant to share a space together for a long period of time.

@Daylaco: This whole roommate thing is so dead, i hate sharing my space w others

@cateblanchettt: The only time I hate sharing a bathroom with my current roommate is right now when she just went in there and I was about to shower

Speaking of imperfections, people tend to think celebs are perfect people that never do anything wrong or annoying. But quite the contrary. We’ve put together a list of celebs that you probably love, but would never want to share a living space with. Hit the flip to check it out.

A super sweet love story is coming out of Florida. The TODAY show recently featured couple Natalie Crowe and Austin Tatman who met in preschool in Ocala, Florida, in 1999. The kiddie duo was apparently super close and considered “sweethearts.” The tots always hung out on playdates and posed for pics together that is until when that were both 5, Crowe moved to Connecticut when her parents got divorced.

The two then lost contact but 12 years later reunited when Natalie found her mother’s address book that had Tatman’s old information in it. Following that they connected on Facebook and later began dating.

“From the second that we met in pre-K we were best friends,” Crowe told TODAY. “Our parents pretty much told us that it was a very, very special bond that we shared.”

Now their fairytale romance has culminated with a wedding. The couple tied the knot in April and their stroybook romance was also profiled on Inside Edition.
