If you’re a fully dedicated member of the #LawrenceHive and want Jay Ellis to win, then get your Netflix subscription in order for an upcoming movie.

According to Deadline, the streaming site has acquired an action-comedy feature pitch by screenwriter Michael Diliberti that he will pen as a vehicle for Ellis and actor Glen Powell. The movie will follow two young Secret Service agents who are stuck with the worst detail in the First Family…the President’s offbeat son. When the kid is kidnapped abroad, the two agents must risk their lives to save him.

The flick will be produced by Escape Artists’ Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch and Becky Sanderman. Diliberti’s writing credits include the movie 30 Minutes Or Less, starring Jesse Eisenberg.

This will not be the first time Powell and Ellis will appear in  a film together. The two are also co-stars in the upcoming sequel to the 1986 movie Top Gun called Top Gun: Maverick.

Ellis has gained a name for himself as the love interest to Issa Rae on the hit HBO series Insecure. Through their on-and-off relationship, certain fans started to warm up to Ellis’ character Lawrence, almost to the point of being obsessed. Thus the #LawrenceHive was born. When Issa’s character and Lawrence broke up at one point, there was even a campaign to bring Lawrence back in season three of the show.

Eventually Lawrence did make it to season three and he’s expected to return for season four, which is currently in production.

Is it just me, or does it feel like celebrities get engaged quick ASL these days.

Either way, love is love and the fact that they’ve found someone they want to spend the rest of their lives with is a beautiful thing.  Take Nicki Minaj for example. After going through several relationship woes publically, the hip hop queen has found love in an old flame — and now she’s finna be his wife.

We already knew that Nicki and boyfriend Kenneth Petty got a marriage license last month; and just a few weeks ago, she took to the ‘gram dropping hints that they already tied to knot. And now, we get to see the blinged out wedding band the Kenny got for the Barb.

Of course, folks had lots to say about how the groom was able to afford a $1.1 million ring:

And in true Onika form, she wasted no time clapping back at her haters.

But it’s Nicki’s life, money and relationship to do whatever she wants to with it. And the beautiful, blinged out rock from Rafaello & Co is just the cherry on top of and icy cake.  Hit the flip for more celebs with ridiculously blingy engagement rings.

Independent Women AT The MOBO Awards

Most Destiny’s Child fans know that before the group got their big break, Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett, and LaTavia Robertson were known as the group Girls Tyme. Now it seems like the man behind their initial success, Mathew Knowles, is trying to share some of their early music with the world according to an Instagram post.

Beyoncé‘s father made a video saying that there’s some unreleased music from Girls Tyme that is supposed to be released in the near future. “Unreleased Girl’s Tyme album coming soon on all streaming platforms,” he captioned the video. The album will supposedly be released under Mathew Knowles’ company Music World Entertainment, but it’s not confirmed what the title of project will be and what songs will be on it.

There’s no certainty Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Robertson even know that this so-called unreleased album will be released. It might be a situation where Mathew owns all the rights to the Girls Tyme catalogue so he can release the tracks whenever he pleases.

Regardless of the behind-the-scenes politics, it would be interesting to hear the early sound of the future Destiny’s Child. Some of their performances and songs are already online, including Girls Tyme’s famous appearance on Star Search which was featured as a sound bite on Beyoncé’s song “***Flawless.” Three of their demo songs can also be found on YouTube, including “That Girl,” “I Wanna Be Where You Are,” and “Sunshine”. There’s no word if these songs will be on Mathew Knowles’ release.

Guess we’ll have to wait and find out what Mr. Knowles has in store.

“I thought that this was the perfect union to be a part of something like this,” Smith told us before the dinner. “Me being from New York City, being from Jamaica, Queens, it’s a huge honor for me.”

The event, catered by celebrity chef JJ Johnson and featuring a seemingly endless amount of chilled Moët rose, brought out the big names. Lil Kim arrived in a white chauffeured Bentley and later took selfies with Wale – who pulled himself away from his tactile display of affection for gal pal India Graham.

RHOA’s Yovanna On Headline Heat

Eva Marcille may not have remembered “Yovanna from Clark” on last season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, but ever since her time on the show, folks have been checking for the RHOA associate to find out what she’s all about. Some may remember Gail Yovanna Momplasir from shows like Say Yes To The Dress and Bridezillas, but it wasn’t until her time with the peach holder of Atlanta that she received attention (and hella backlash) from social media.

Fortunately, Yovanna stopped by to clear up some of the wildest and wickedest headlines BOSSIP has written about. She even took the high road regarding some questions about frenemy Eva. Will she be joining RHOA? Was she really that b****  at Clark?

Check out the video above to see what Yovanna had to say. Catch season 12 of RHOA when it airs this November.
