Seems like every month a new rapper is linked to being involved with Saweetie! This time it happens to be Atlanta’s own Lil Baby, and he had a few words to say about it.

Lil Baby put out a mini-statement via Twitter Thursday night that read, “Baby not dating NO ONE!! I’m Single!” This statement came after news hit the internet claiming he and the West Coast rapper were an item.

A report claimed Baby had taken Saweetie on an $100,000 shopping spree in New York City. According to the source, there is surveillance video footage captured on a nearby security camera of the two in the Chanel store.

Per usual, fans chimed in on Twitter and had to add in their two cents. One person posted, “Damn, Lil Baby dating Saweetie, Quavo’s Ex , and they were labelmates? The Quality is not under Control.”

Another person posted, “Saweetie said she wanted a baby whole time she was talking about lil baby???”

Lil Baby co-parents his 2-year-old son Loyal with IG model and young business mogul, Jayda Cheaves. The pair had been dating on and off for several years and Hollywood Unlocked noted that Cheaves “liked” their Instagram post about the rapper’s supposed date with Saweetie.

Saweetie and Quavo called it quits earlier this year after dating exclusively since 2018. Just months after they announced their break up a video surfaced that showed them engaged in a physical altercation in an elevator.

Saweetie has not made a comment on this rumor and most likely, she won’t. Sis is very much booked and busy. Saweetie just earned two Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Rap Song for the the Doja Cat collaboration “Best Friend.”

Lil Nas X isn’t playing! Or is he? It’s always tricky to tell with him.  The “Industry Baby” singer recently said that he’s bored with trolling Boosie, but the rest of us are still fair game. He already took us to heaven, hell, and jail, so what’s left? Maury!

This week the classic daytime talk show announced on Twitter that Lil Nas X will appear on an “all new EXCLUSIVE Maury” on Nov. 17. The hilarious promotional video promises everything that made the show an iconic guilty pleasure: a love triangle, a secret spouse, heartbreak, and of course, a paternity test!

Is any episode of Maury really complete without someone taking off running like Usain Bolt? The video shows the Grammy winner confronting his ex, Yai Ariza, about hiding a wife and child. Or did Yai just hide the world from his child? Either way, Lil Nas X (aka Montero) is the one sprinting backstage by the end of the clip. He perfected the form of the Maury run with his arms flailing backward to guarantee maximum ugly crying during the breakdown.

Fans will recognize Yai and his secret family from the super-steamy music video for “That’s What I Want,” which is also the background music in the trailer.

Whatever Lil Nas X has planned must be major, because he’s been suspiciously silent on Twitter since his jaw-dropping transformation into Voldermort from Harry Potter for Halloween.

This unexpected cross-over left some people wondering whether the episode or even the rest of the Maury show is real. According to TODAY, a representative confirmed that Lil Nas X will appear on the show. The description for the episode breaks down all juicy details.

“On today’s all-new exclusive Maury, Montero and Yai are football teammates who quickly became lovers,” the episode listing said. “Montero was shocked to discover soon after that Yai was married with a child. Now, Montero is here to tell Yai’s wife, Ashley, about their secret love affair. Montero also needs to know if Yai is the father of Ashley’s child. Maury will get the answers they need. Will Montero get exactly what he wants?”

Last night Jay-Z joined the likes of Hip Hop icons like Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G., N.W.A., and Public Enemy as the latest rapper to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

You know you’ve officially reached goat status when our beloved former President of the United States, Barack Obama, gives you a heartfelt introduction.

“I’ve turned to Jay-Z’s words at different points in my life, whether I was brushing dirt off my shoulder on the campaign trail, or sampling his lyrics on the Edmund Pettus Bridge on the 50th anniversary of the Selma march to Montgomery,” said President Obama. “Today, Jay-Z is one of the most renowned artists in history and an embodiment of the American dream, a dream he has helped make real for other young people like him.”

Outside of Obama’s introduction, A-list actors and friends of the Brooklyn rapper each took turns reciting some of JAY’s most memorable lyrics in a pre-recorded video montage. This video included JAY-Z’s wife Beyoncé, Rihanna, Chris Rock, David Letterman, Queen Latifah, Lebron James, Diddy, Jamie Foxx and many more!

Last to round out the introduction of HOV was Dave Chappelle.

Of course, Dave wouldn’t be Dave if he didn’t lighten things up with a joke about the current backlash to his recent Netflix special. “I would like to apologize—I’m just f****’ with you,” Chappelle said before formally introducing Jay-Z.

“He rhymed a recipe for survival,” Chappelle said. “He embodies what the potential of our lives can be and what success can be.”

“It is an incredible honor to induct this next man into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. But I need everybody in rock’n’roll to know, that even though you are honoring him, he is ours. He is hip-hop. Forever and ever, and a day.”

In his acceptance speech, JAY-Z gave shout-outs to both his mother, Gloria Carter, and Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder, Dame Dash.

“Shout out to Dame… I know we don’t see eye to eye, but I can never erase your accomplishments, and I appreciate you and thank you for that,” JAY-Z said.

The 36th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Don’t worry if you’re just finding out about the ceremony you didn’t miss anything, a pre-recorded telecast will air later this year, Nov. 20 on HBO and HBO Max.

It was a return to normalcy for the event, which was forced to go virtual in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A committee of 1,200 artists, historians, and music industry members, as well as a fan vote, determined this year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class. In order to be eligible, a nominee’s first recording must have been released at least 25 years ago.

“It ain’t no overnight thing. You can’t stumble into this place.” Public Enemy’s Chuck D noted during a plaque induction ceremony on Friday at the hall

Other inductees included Carole King, Todd Rundgren, Tina Turner, the Go-Go’s, and Foo Fighters. LL Cool J was also celebrated with the Musical Excellence Award.

Bow Wow is fed up with the 2021 Millennium Tour and had to get it outta his system in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

Mr. Shad Moss is currently on the 2021 Millennium Tour with Omarion, Yin Yang Twins, Ashanti, Pretty Ricky, Soulja Boy and more but it doesn’t seem like Bow Wow is enjoying himself.

The Y2K superstars hit Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina Friday night and not even 24 hours after the show Bow Wow went on an extended Twitter tirade about what he’s allegedly experiencing on the road.

“Too much bitching and complaining on this tour! Im bussn cats asses EVERY NIGHT! Every night they try and complain and take something away from me! I give 1000% and yall know it! ATL I HOPE YALL SHOW TOGETHER! IMA BUSS YALL ASS FOR 45 mins straight! TRY ME!”

As if that wasn’t enough, he then threatened to quit the tour altogether, adding, “This might be my last show! I’ve had enough!” Pretty dramatic huh? However, fans attending the show in ATL tonight don’t worry he promises ticket holders that he was gonna give them the show of his life, and seemed to indicate he’d be performing well past 15 minutes.

Omarion loved it, replying … “Energy!! energy!!” Atta boys!

So you’re probably wondering what’s really the problem? Apparently, it all boils down to his setlist and how long he’s allowed to do his thing in front of fans. In his mind 15 minutes just isn’t enough and homeboy wants to perform all his 106 & Park hits.

Sure enough our boy didn’t stop there! Bow Wow then took to IG Live to get a few more things off his chest claiming he was the brains behind the whole ‘Millennium Tour’ concept and Omarion and everyone else are really opening up for him. Guess he thinks he’s the Beyoncé of this here tour.

“They opening up for me,” Bow said. “I invented this whole wave, the whole shit. Me.”

Now of course, Soulja Boy wasn’t goingg to let that slide and commented on Bow’s rant, writing that there’s “Nothing to see here lil Pee we had too much casamigos last night.”

While talking on Twitter and IG Live, The Ohio born rapper also shared that he should’ve waited until 2022 to tour with Chris Brown. Wonder how true that statement really is? We do remember that during the same time Bow Wow and Omarion partnered up as teenage heart throbs, Chris Brown & Bow Wow also had all the young ladies in a chokehold.

Maybe this outburst and rant is all for show as the Millennium Tour makes it stop in ATL, which is considered Bow Wow’s second home, Saturday night. We’re sure fans can expect to see several guest appearances on stage tonight as well as pure entertainment from Bow Wow himself. The tour has delivered memorable moments for fans already! Lil Fizz popped it off when offering a public apology to his fellow B2K member Omarion for sleeping with his ex and baby mama Apryl Jones. So, maybe Bow Wow has something up his sleeves for tonight’s show.
