We’ve got something special for our foodies who are also hip-hop lovers.
Our friends at truTV sent us a fun exclusive preview clip from this week’s episode of ‘Fast Foodies’ featuring comedian, beatboxer, vocal artist and musician Reggie Watts joins the chefs to drop some beats and eat some meats. AND he’s not just there to learn he’s also sharing his own skills with Kristen. Check out the clip below to see what that mouf do — or don’t!
Pretty funny stuff right? What did you think of Kristen’s beatboxing skills? We love her (we were rooting for her during her season of “Top Chef”) but unfortunately we’d have to say beatboxing isn’t exactly her ministry. Stick to chef’ing it up sis. Wait — was that harsh?
If you’ve never seen the show before, “Fast Foodies” features “Top Chef” winners Kristen Kish, Jeremy Ford and “Iron Chef” winner Justin Sutherland as they compete to perfectly recreate and then skillfully reimagine a celebrity guest’s favorite fast-food dish. These culinary masters come prepared to showcase their love of pop culture, fast-food legends and their expert skills to win the “Chompionship Trophy.”
The inaugural season reached over 20 million viewers across linear and digital platform to date and featured Joel McHale, James Van Der Beek, Andy Richter, Amanda Seales, Ron Funches, Charlotte McKinney, Kevin Heffernan & Steve Lemme, Fortune Feimster, GaTa, and Bobby Lee.
Guests on the 12-episode sophomore season include Jesse Tyler Ferguson (“Modern Family”) Nikki Glaser (“ FBOY ISLAND”), Reggie Watts (“The Late Late Show with James Corden”), Chris Jericho (“AEW”), Natasha Leggero (“The Honeymoon Stand Up Special”), Bobby Moynihan (“Saturday Night Live”), Baron Davis, Jillian Bell (“22 Jump Street”), Keith and Kenneth Lucas (“Just for Laughs”), Adam Pally (“Champaign Ill”), Jon Gabrus(“Game Over, Man!”), Horatio Sanz (“Saturday Night Live”) and returning fan-favorite foodie Joel McHale (“Community”).
Episode 206 of “Fast Foodies” premieres Thursday, March 3, at 10 pm on truTV.

One thing about Treach, he’s always going to look out for Egypt.
Happy Hump Day! We’re a day away from a brand new episode of “Growing Up Hip Hop” and we’ve got an exclusive sneak preview clip for your viewing pleasure. In the clip, Treach reminds Sam of the promises he made when he asked for his blessing to be with Egypt. Check out the clip below:
Clearly Treach means business, but it might be too late at this point to be issuing these reminders to Sam. What’s done is already done. The question is how much Egypt will be paying the price for Sam’s rash actions.
Here’s the full synopsis of the episode:
Tee Tee’s wedding day spirals into chaos, but a surprise from Pep shocks all. Meanwhile, Treach warns Sam that a dangerous future lies ahead and enforces protection over Egypt. Jojo plans something special for Tanice to keep the marriage lit.
Have you guys been watching “Growing Up Hip Hop”? We’re really locked in this season — and after interviewing Jojo and Tanice last season we’re hoping they are able to work out their issues. It’s been a really eventful season between all that’s happened with Egypt and Sam plus Tee Tee’s pre-wedding worries, not to mention the full-blown, beef that was going on with Savannah and Sakoya, oh and let’s not forget Briana’s drama. It’s been a WHOLE lot. So we’re definitely not gonna miss this episode.
The new episode of “Growing Up Hip Hop” airs Thursday, March 3 at 9 PM ET/8 PM CT
Will you be watching? What’s been your favorite part of the season so far? Who is your favorite cast member to keep up with? We actually love the addition of the new kids and Layzie Bone this season and we can’t wait to watch what happens Thursday at Tee Tee’s wedding!
The fifty-leventh time’s the charm, right?
Jussie Smollett might be heading back into court after demanding a new trial. Two months after the actor was found guilty on 5 of the 6 felony counts against him for filing a false police report about his 2019 assault, his attorneys filed a petition for a second chance in court. TMZ reports Jussie claims his constitutional rights were violated during the jury selection process. Does he have (yet another) case?
The Empire star’s legal team said the court “made numerous trial errors leading up to the trial and during the pendency of the trial.” His attorneys stated that despite having such a controversial client in a nationally covered case that could easily taint potential jurors, they were not allowed to directly question the jury pool for biases and “questionable impartiality.”
According to NBC News, the filing also stated that the evidence presented by the prosecution was “insufficient and inconsistent so that no reasonable trier of fact could have found Mr. Smollett guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and thus there is evidence that the jury verdict was contrary to the manifest weight of the evidence.
“As such, the Defendant now respectfully requests that his convictions be vacated or in the alternative, that the Court grant the Defendant a new trial.”
If the 39-year-old can’t get a new trial, he is seeking to have his conviction overturned for the 5 felony counts of disorderly conduct. Jussie’s team also asserted that prosecutors pressured witnesses to give false testimony against him. Chicago’s police and court systems aren’t known for being impartial, especially when it comes to Black men, so Jussie’s team may have plenty of valid points about how this case was (mis)handled.
The cameras will be ready for Jussie’s close-up on March 10 at his sentencing after Judge James Linn‘s ruling on Friday that “there is no good cause to continue to deny extended media coverage for post-trial proceedings.” He is currently facing a maximum sentence of 3 years, which is less time than he’s already spent in court over this reported hate crime.
If violent criminals like Kim Potter can get tears and a slap on the wrist, does Jussie deserve a second chance at justice?
Tyrese is in love and isn’t afraid to show it.
Tyrese recently posted a clip on Instagram and declared that girlfriend, Zellie Timothy, is the love of his life.
Zellie Timothy is a model, influencer and travel vlogger and has recently gotten back into her groove of posting videos on YouTube.
Her latest YouTube vlog shows the couple on an intimate vacation in Europe where Tyrese is currently filming. In the clip shared to Instagram, Tyrese wakes up Zelie and asks her if she has to go #1 or #2. He then proceeds to show viewers that the bathroom where they were staying had a toilet area where there were two toilets in the same room.
Zelie proceeds to tell him #1 and he says he has to go #2. Ultimately, the couple end up using the restroom at the same time, as they play footsie. An odd moment to share but Tyrese and Zellie find it necessary to let fans into their world no matter the circumstance.
“Supposedly she’s a rebound, supposedly she was a side chick that caused my marriage to end nah….. @zelietimothy is the love of my life who never asked to be here. It’s all UP from here!”
This isn’t the first time the couple has put their love on display in a very different way. Last April the couple went viral after Zelie shared a video of Tyrese shaving her lady parts for her. At the time she said, “I will never ever let go of my King. But does your man shave you though?”
The couple made their love official last March during All-Star weekend. Many fans speculated that Zellie was just a rebound and void from Tyrese’s second divorce but sources close to the couple confirmed that their relationship was the real deal.
Zellie Timothy has consistently been in Tyrese’s corner as he worked through his divorce from his estranged wife Samantha and now recently the death of his mother, Priscilla Murray due to COVID-19 and pneumonia.
In the YouTube vlog Tyrese shares a moment with Zellie where he thanks her for being by his side and expresses his deep love for her. He then goes on to say how proud of her he is and how he wants her to be successful no matter what. The couple promises fans that this video is first of many to come and pleads to fans to help them get their video trending on YouTube.

Congratulations are in order for WNBA Chicago Sky player Candace Parker and her wife Anna Petrakova for recently welcoming their bundle of joy, Airr, into the world.
Parker and Petrakova took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their son, Airr Larry Petrakov Park, who was born on February 11th, 2022. The two pinned a sweet message about him being a happy addition to their family.
“Airr Larry Petrakov Parker 2-11-22. We are in absolute love and utter appreciation that Goose chose us. Welcome to the fam SON.”
The couple surprised their fans with news of their baby boy back in December and also revealed that they have been happily married for over two years.
“2 years ago, I got to marry my best friend in front of our close family and friends. My heart could have exploded. I cried like a baby…. To know me or you is to know our love,” Parker wrote of her and her wife’s union. “This journey hasn’t been easy. I am proud of us and what we have built and who we have grown to become both individually and together. Thank you for always loving Lailaa as your own, being my calm, my support, my voice of reason, my laughs, my cuddles, my dance in the rain, my happy, my home… Thanks for constantly challenging me and telling me when I’m wrong 🙄. I LOVE YOU🐞 , I appreciate you, I value you and what we have.”
While this is Petrakova’s first child, Airr, is Candace’s second child. Parker has a 12-year-old daughter, Lailaa Nicole, whom she shares with ex-husband Shelden Williams. She has praised Petrakova in the past for how she has loved Lailaa throughout their romantic relationship, per Sports Illustrated.
Parker and Petrakova said their “I do’s” in 2019 and the two have extensive backgrounds in professional basketball, with Parker becoming the first WNBA player to grace the cover of the popular NB2K video game and the first woman to dunk in NCAA tournament history.
In 2007 and 2008 she won NCAA titles with Tennessee then went on to becoming the WNBA’s top draft pick, Rookie of the Year, and MVP in 2008 with the Los Angeles Sparks.
Her wife, Petrakova, on the other hand played professional basketball for the Russian national team in the 2012 Summer Olympics and competed for UMMC Ekaterinburg when Parker was on that Russian team. True definition of love and basketball!
Congratulations again to Parker, Petrakova and Lailaa on their new bundle of joy!
