The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards co-host reflects on his career, hosting the program, and being on that stage would mean to his late father.

While such bold visibility for LGBTQ stars may seem like the norm in 2022, it’s a far cry from pop music’s recent history.

The whole world knows by now that Kanye West is taking this divorce from Kim Kardashian pretty hard.

Every other day he posts something new about the situation, from text messages to videos and threats, and now, a poem entitled ‘Divorce’.

Yesterday he took to Instagram to post “Divorce”, a poem comparing the legal process to bad experiences anyone may go through in life.

“Divorce feels like your kids were snatched from your control / Divorce feels like you’ve been shot and traffic is slow,” the “Flashing Lights” rapper’s post reads. “Divorce feels like heavy breathing / Divorce feels like grandma never got over that cold / Divorce feels like suffocating / Barely breathing.”

You know, poetry is a form of therapy and as a lyricist this outlet seems like the best and healthiest way for Mr. West go.

The poem comes just two days after his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, was declared legally single and she made it a point to drop “West” from all of her social media accounts.

“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.” stated Kim amid their ongoing divorce drama and social media attacks.

Most recently, Ye sparked controversy when he released a very disturbing music video for his song “Eazy” which featured the Saturday Night Live star, Pete Davidson, being buried alive.

As Kim and Pete continue to live their love life in private, Kanye and his new alleged Kim Kardashian look alike boo, Chaney Jones, makes an effort to post every now and then on her IG stories.

Hopefully Kanye and Kim can end on a good note, at least for the children’s sake.

Last year, BOSSIP reported that a College Hill reboot is on the way and now we finally have a lineup for the classic reality show’s return. Instead of the original formula of following real college kids through the ups, downs, (and throwdowns) of life at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, the reboot will follow celebrities who never attended or completed their college education.

According to TheJasmineBRAND the upcoming season will feature RHOA royalty NeNe Leakes, former NBA Lamar OdomLHH stars Ray J and Dream Dolland the Queen Diva of New Orleans Bounce Music Big Freedia. While these reality TV veterans may not be able to deliver the college-age antics that made College Hill so iconic, their larger-than-life personalities are a recipe for more iconic memes and moments.

Previous reboot rumors expected the show to film at Jackson State University where Deion Sanders became head football coach of his alma mater in 2020. The two-time Super Bowl champion revealed that his fiancée Tracey Edmondswho was the producing powerhouse behind “College Hill” during its original run from 2004 – 2009, would bring celebrities to the Mississippi campus.

However, TheJasmineBRAND reports that the new season is currently being filmed at Texas Southern University. Does this mean we can expect a cameo from one of TSU’s most illustrious recent alumni, Megan Thee Stallion? The cast has already been spotted on campus with Slim Thug and India Love in the mix as well.

Fans of the show looked forward to an updated dose of HBCU drama, but reactions to the celebrity cast are mixed. The tweets are talking!

Many of the cast members are old enough to have kids in college, so they probably won’t be throwing down like their ’00s counterparts, but that doesn’t mean they won’t turn up at TSU. BET also gave us quality reality TV with the do-over drama on The Encoreso they might be onto something with this new direction.

Will you be watching the new College Hill?
