The book details how Raashaun (aka DJ Envy) and Gia Casey met as two teenagers attending the same high school in Queens and have continued their love story for an astounding 27 years ( they’ve been married for 20!). In ‘Real Life, Real Love: Life Lessons on Joy, Pain & the Magic That Holds Us Together (Abrams Image; April 19, 2022; U.S. $26.00; Hardcover), the Caseys explore the entire chronology of their love story with remarkable vulnerability, searing honesty, and a lot of humor. Speaking of which, we’ve got an exclusive clip from the audiobook version of ‘Real Life, Real Love,’ that we’re excited to share with you today.

The Caseys have remained together through Raashaun’s growing celebrity, a devastating (and very public) cheating scandal, and the births of six children. Now, more than a quarter of a century into their relationship, they are stronger and more committed to each other than they’ve ever been, and their fans are clamoring to know how they’ve done it. In the audio clip below, Gia and Raashaun talk about the ‘New Deal’ they had to strike in order to move forward with their marriage even stronger than before.

What do you think about what they had to say? It was really interesting to hear Envy open up saying that he used his failure as an opportunity to become the man and husband he always wanted to be!

‘Real Life, Real Love’ is a riveting narrative about how to grow together, an aspirational guidebook for people who seek the same unconditional love in their relationships, and an in-depth look at how to remain equals after being thrust into the public eye.

We can’t stop replaying these moments from Coachella 2022’s first weekend, including Harry Styles singing with Shania Twain and Kanye West’s whales.

Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd replaced Kanye West as Coachella headliners, and though the set wasn’t bad, it didn’t rise to the occasion.

Summer may be right around the corner, but it’s Tina Snow season!

Megan Thee Stallion’s long-awaited first performance at Coachella did not disappoint. The rapper dominated the California festival’s legendary stage on Saturday with her signature swagger, sexy costumes showing off her famous thick thighs, and Olympic-level twerking. In addition to performing a long list of rap hits and popular collaborations, like “WAP” and “Savage,” Pitchfork reports Megan blessed her fans with a new heavy-hitting song during the set. Check out Meg’s first performance of the unreleased new banger, “To Whom The F*ck It May Concern.”

Sounds like Megan’s money-talking alter-ego Tina Snow is most definitely back exactly 3 years after making her Hot 100 debut with the Pimp C-inspired persona on “Big Ole Freak.” It’s been less than 24 hours and the quotable lyrics are already making their rounds on thousands of posts and picture captions.

“Ladies, love yourself ’cause this s**t could get ugly! That’s why it’s f**k n***as, get money

And I don’t give a f**k if that n***a leave tonight, because n***a, that d**k don’t run me”

If this is the song Meg mentioned earlier this month that gets women hype when they hear it, the hint makes perfect sense now. We have an early contender for song of the summer right here! Regardless of where the H-town Hottie stands with her boyfriend Pardi or perpetually pressed alleged attacker Torey Lanez, she’s making it clear that she stands on her own no matter what.

“I got this song that I recorded and every time I play it for a woman they start jumping and clapping,” she teased about the song on Twitter.

Talk your talk, Meg! The tough boss chick attitude and throwback energy from sampling Jodeci and Wu-Tang’s “Freak’n You Remix” reminded some fans of another queen of rap, Lil Kim.

What do you think of Meg’s new song?

G Herbo and Taina Williams celebrate baby girl with pink umbrella themed shower.

Back in December G Herbo and Taina Williams announced that they are expecting their second child together. The news came a year after the two announced their first pregnancy, with baby boy Essex in December 2020.

G Herbo wasted no time buying his unborn daugher presents and matching Chanel bags for the baby and Taina. The gifting for baby girl continued into this weekend as friends and family came together to celebrate the pair’s first daughter.

G Herbo and Taina put on their best attire and stepped out in a baby pink half shoulder dress with feathers on one side. G Herbo on the other hand popped out in a hot pink suite with fresh all white air force ones.

The entrance to the shower was extravagant with different shades of pink umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. Guests were requested to wear shades of pink and the couple took several photos in front of an array of pink florals and a white arch.

The couple have been together since 2018 and in that time G Herbo and Taina have become one of social media’s most popular couples. Taina is no stranger to the spotlight though as she’s the stepdaughter to rapper Fabolous.

The pair anxiously awaits the arrival of their baby girl to complete their beautiful blended family.

Is there anything Lizzo can’t do? The short answer is “no,” and the long answer is “hell, no!”

Saturday Night Live - Season 47

The multitalented and multiplatinum artist was a showstopper doing double duty as musical guest and host of last night’s Saturday Night Live.” Vanity Fair reports Lizzo brought the high energy, flute-playing, and spontaneous twerking we know and love to the classic comedy show, but more importantly, she brought the funny! The “Truth Hurts” singer hit the ground running with a hilarious opening poking fun at herself for never wearing clothes, “dating every little White boy in Hollywood,” and vowing to break a record for the number of times her (and Too $hort’s) favorite word “b*tch” is said on live TV.

“I even heard a rumor that I’m pregnant with Chris Evans’ baby. I have no idea where that one started! “It could be the TikTok I did where I said, ‘I’m pregnant with Chris Evans’ baby. It’s called manifesting,” she said cracking up.

In true Lizzo form, she ended with more than enough joy and self-love to share with everyone watching.

“I do love myself. Everyone should love themselves!” Lizzo said. “I love you. You’re beautiful and you can do anything. I’m proof of that. “I used to live in my car. And now I’m hosting ‘Saturday Night Live!’”

Whether she was taking over a game show as a loud and wrong contestant, trying to smash on the most awkward first date, or using her twerking skills for booty-popping Beethoven with the DeVry Institute Symphony Orchestra, Lizzo cracked up the audience (and herself) in sketch after sketch. Sis needs some comedy scripts lined up for her after the album and tour. Check her out as a label exec trying to decipher the super popular and super random hit songs from the Black Eyed Peas 2008 album. The whole cast killed it, but Kenan’s Will.I.Am deserves an honorable mention.

As musical guest, Lizzo pulled out all the stops, including four beautiful dancers from her Amazon Prime reality show, “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls,” for her debut live performance of “About Damn Time.” Her all-women band and backup dancers shut down the stage with the catchy disco-themed new single, and the mic was most definitely on!

In a heartfelt moment introduced by Lizzo’s mom, she debuted the soulful title track from her fourth album, Special

“I’m used to feeling alone, oh

So I thought that I’d let you know

In case nobody told you today, you’re special

In case nobody made you believe, you’re special

I will always tell you the same, you’re special,” she sang in the new self-love anthem.

Lizzo closed out the show in a hoodie from her new shapewear line Yitty, which dropped this month. At this point, she’s at least a quadruple or quintuple threat at this point, and we’re so here for it!

Were you watching Lizzo’s SNL takeover?

Billie Eilish tells the Coachella crowd, “I should not be headlining,” then makes triumphant return in powerful set. Damon Albarn and Khalid guested.

When keeping it real goes wrong…

Premiere Of WE TV's "Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition"

Yikes! Don’t hold your breath if you’re still looking for the reunion episode from Joesline’s Cabaret to air on the Zeus Network. That special might not see the light of day except for a courtroom. According to TMZ, several dancers who starred on the show filed a $25 million lawsuit against Joseline Hernandez and Ballistic Beats for an alleged brutal backstage beatdown at the season 2 reunion.

There are reality show fights with a bit of drink throwing and hair-pulling, but then there’s what Joseline was accused of doing to these dancers. Based on the lawsuit, Amber Ali’s complaints that Joseline and Ballistic assaulted her were just the tip of the iceberg. The cast members claim they arrived dressed to impress in heels for the taping, but Joseline was already prepared to ambush them in the hard-bottom boots Amber initially described.

Ali took to Instagram Live saying, “I only came to the hospital because my ribs are very bruised because Joseline had some big a** boots on and she kicked me.” In addition to severely bruised ribs, she revealed that, “Ballistic just ripped my hair off my head. He ripped my real hair out, we gon handle this in court.”

In typical Joseline fashion, she responded to the assault allegations by bragging online about the same attacks the four plaintiffs describe in the court documents.

“Keep crying from your hospital bed with your broken ribs. One kick you flew into next day. Rotten mouth a** h*e. And for you dumb b*tches when you sign up for a reality show you CANNOT file a lawsuit against anyone on the show,” Joseline wrote. “You dummies.”

Well… that last part is up to a judge to decide now.

“I mortal kombat one h*e, pimp slapped another one. Pushed one into last night’s episode. Kicked down a few on the ground. I slapped fire out of everyone on that stage. Me n my crew wait for it,” she tweeted.

Whatever was in those contracts must the TV star feeling like Teflon to flex like this! According to court documents, she kept yelling out the name of her crew, “Gucci gang.” She also shouted them out on Twitter on a picture of three sets of boots they allegedly wore during the attack with laughing emojis and “Gucci gang” in the caption.

One thing Joseline missed in her unhinged thread was Lexi’s claims that security held the dancers back during the ambush so they couldn’t fight back against Joseline and her crew.

“Security wanna hold everybody…hold them back and let [Joseline & Balistic] get their licks in. So all that sh*t that Joseline is talking about, how she kicked this b*****…that’s only because she only had security behind her.”

In addition to all of this going down on the set of the actual reunion, the claims that security was in on the attack are why Zeus Network is also on the hook for the $25 million lawsuit. Maybe that’s why fans of the show said the network was trying to upcharge for the reunion despite missing the originally scheduled air date.

Joseline and her team have not yet publicly responded to the lawsuit, but it’s just a matter of time before we hear all about the pummelling from the Puerto Rican Princess herself.
