Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s star Miss Robbie Montgomery is still standing beside her son Tim Norman despite his alleged involvement in the death of her grandson, Andre Montgomery Jr.
In early June, Norman was accused of hiring a hitman to murder his nephew Andre, who also starred on the popular OWN reality TV show in 2011.
During a recent interview with Fox 2 St. Louis, Miss Robbie opened up about where her relationship stands with her son amid the contentious murder case.
“I’m going through it. My son is in trouble right now,” the sould food restaruranteur told the news station. “But I’m his mother, and I don’t know any more about it than you, I see it when everyone else sees it, but I’m there with him to support. That’s what mothers do until death do us part. ”
Robbie continued, “It’s the same as a marriage. So if something happens to your kid, you have to be there because you’re their inspiration. It’s not that what he’s involved in is good or bad, I don’t know, but that’s my son and I can’t abandon him now.”
Well, they DO say a mother’s love is unconditional.
Where Are Things Now With Andre Montgomery’s Murder Case?
As BOSSIP previously reported, a man named Travell Anthony Hill recently pleaded guilty to committing the 2016 murder of the 21-year-old reality TV star. Hill admitted to fatally shooting Andre in exchange for a $5,000 payment from Tim Norman.
According to court documents, Norman allegedly also hired an exotic dancer named Terica Ellis to lure Andre to his death. Officials say Ellis and Andre dated in the past. Detectives believe Norman paid her a whopping $10,000 to lead Andre to Hill just before the shooting occurred.
To make matters even worse, Norman was allegedly hoping to cash in on a $450,000 life insurance policy he had previously taken on his nephew.
Hill faces life in prison for carrying out the vicious murder-for-hire plot. If convicted, Tim Norman will also serve life behind bars. Additionally, Norman and his insurance agent Waiel Rebhi Yaghnam could also be slammed with charges for the insurance scheme.
As for Ellis, she faces conspiracy murder charges.
Before his tragic death, Andre regularly appeared on Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s, a reality TV show that documented Robbie’s booming soul food empire in St. Louis.
Andre joined the show in 2011 after he came to live with his grandmother. The aspiring rapper often appeared wearing a chicken costume in scenes, helping his grandmother to promote her bustling restaurant alongside Norman.
The wholesome show ran for five seasons on OWN.
What was the last straw?
Back in April, BOSSIP reported that RHOP star Ashley Darby filed for separation from her husband, Michael Darby. Things are getting real as the pageant queen’s separation unfolds in the latest season. Although she’s saving details for the show, Showbiz CheatSheet reports Ashley opened up about her split on an episode of the Side Piece podcast.
“Unfortunately, I can’t talk about too much because it’s part of the show, and we are filming right now. But of course, when we are done filming, I’ll be more than happy to open up about it.”
In a previous statement on Bravo’s Daily Dish, Ashley said she and her Aussie senior citizen husband are both at “very different stages” in their lives and “have very different goals” for their futures. However, she did confirm that one specific situation was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
“But yes there was an event ultimately that was the catalyst for what was already happening between us. I don’t hate him. There is no resentment. It’s just the way it is.”
In addition to handling the split in public and in front of cameras, Ashley said still lives with her 62-year-old ex. Although she said living with Michael is “a challenge,” it helps with co-parenting their sons Dean, 2, and Dylan, 1.
“We’re roommates. All we talk about is the kids,” Ashley explained when asked if there’s any temptation or sparks of romance left.
The soon-to-be single housewife celebrated her 34th birthday last week with a stunning photo shoot. “In my era and loving it,” she captioned on a glowing picture in her birthday suit.
“I’m truly thankful for every single turn that’s brought me here. Learning to trust and release,” Ashley wrote on Instagram.
What do you think was the catalyst for the break-up?

“As a young dad, growing a business, it was pretty tough. But now looking as an older dad and my kids being much older, and obviously, if I was to have more kids … I’m looking forward to being a different dad, a more patient dad,” he revealed.
When the business mogul was a young dad, he was also busy hustling to build empires for himself and his first client, LeBron James. The father of three kept his parenting life private, only posting his oldest on rare occasions like her graduation.
“Oftentimes as you’re building a business, you’re on the go, you’re moving around, the kids grow up fast in a blink of an eye. Next thing, you know, they’re walking and they’re riding the bike, running and flipping around and that’s the problem,” Rich shared.
“You know, I have a daughter that’s a junior in college so I was a very young dad, but now, different age, different time in my life, different position in my life. I’m really looking forward to being an older dad.”
Rich clearly loves kids. In addition to his own family, he partnered with Old Spice and Walmart to launch a “10-year commitment to help increase graduation rates by 10 percent.”
It’s a mentorship program,” Rich said. “I think the importance of being a mentor is key. Something that I really like to do. I love to mentor and also lean in and embrace being mentored as well. We’re trying to help young men and women build that confidence and have a foundation of confidence to go out and lead the world. And I think that what Old Spice is doing with the School of Swagger and for me to be a part of the first ever graduating class of the School of Swagger is really cool.”

Adele, who sparked engagement rumors by rocking a massive stunning ring, is already a mom. The “Rumor Has It” singer had 9-year-old Angelo James with her ex-husband Simon Konecki.
“As if I would ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t. It’s lovely though, isn’t it?” she teased when asked if Rich already popped the question.
Until Rich and Adele start to grow their blended family, he’s busy trying to rack up cool points with his kids.
“My kids never tell me I’m a cool dad. Their friends think I’m a cool dad, so I feel good about that. But my kids never really tell me, ‘Dad, you’re cool.’ They don’t show me that love like that, but I know it’s deep down inside,” he said.
It sounds like the beautiful couple has wedding bells and a baby bump in their future.
