As previously reported, the new season premieres TONIGHT, Friday, November 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on OWN.

It will feature not only Selena, but Tambra Cheri, Marie Hamilton-Abston, Aikisha Holly-Colon, Lateshia Pearson, Latrice Rogers, and Sophia O. Williams (aka “Sogucci”).

Speaking of Sogucci, Belle Collective watchers will see her and Selena try to make amends after their previous conflicts like when they fought over Sogucci labeling Selena an “extra.”

Selena told BOSSIP she wanted to make peace with the fellow Belle for the family’s sake considering that Sogucci is the stepmom of her daughters.

“You will see us have a conversation,” she told Managing Editor Dani Canada. “My family is growing. I have another daughter who’s pregnant, and I’m throwing her a baby shower. She’s going to want her father there, and he’ll want his wife there, so we’ll just have to see how this works out.”

Not only will viewers see that, but they’ll see the mom try to mend the relationship between her ex-husband, Sogucci’s husband JJ, and their three daughters. Since the girls have grown older, they’ve become more vocal, like during the Belle Collective reunion when Selena’s daughters defended her and clashed with their dad.

“They’re not used to just sitting there like little cute mannequins,” Selena explained, noting JJ’s struggle to adjust to their independence. “It’s complicated. I’m trying my best to get it back to where it used to be, just him and the girls talking like father and daughters.”

The blended family drama won’t be the only thing viewers see on Belle Collective however, the newbie told BOSSIP that there will be positivity as viewers will be introduced to her fiancé, Michael, whom the Belle’s excited to marry despite wedding planning stress.

“When it comes to other people’s weddings, I can plan them like a pro. But when it’s for myself, I’m stuck,” said Selena who admitted her inspiration spans from “wanting angels like in a Tyler Perry movie” to wanting something “simple and nice” with only close family.

“I just need to focus. I’m so busy with my kids and everyone else, I’ve barely had time for myself.”

Ultimately while reflecting on joining the franchise, Selena told BOSSIP that she’s “enjoying every bit of it” especially filming with Latrice and Tambra, who welcomed her without hesitation.

“I’ve known these ladies before the cameras, so I felt like I fit right in,” she said. “I love being around successful women, even though it’s been a ride with its ups and downs. It’s challenging because I’m opening myself up again on a different level with my blended family… It’s a lot, but I hope someone watching will relate, maybe going through the same thing and trying to get to the other side of the rainbow, honey.”
