Lil Baby Drops A Video For His Track “Pure Cocaine”

Lil Baby has just released the video for one of his tracks off Street Gossip, “Pure Cocaine.”

The visual was directed by Edgar Esteves, in which we see Lil Baby trying to abandon his old life for a rap career. To celebrate all of his new success, he throws a classic all-white party at an equally clean all-white mansion. But unfortunately for the party-goers, the festivities are interrupted when a former associate returns with some trouble.

Peep the visual down below to see Lil Baby and a special appearance from 21 Savage, too.

LeBron James Passes Jordan On The All-Time Scoring List Sparks Debate

Source: Charlotte Observer / Getty

He did it, LeBron James unlike Kanye West officially jumped over the Jumpman passing the G.O.A.T Michael Jordan on the NBA’s all-time scoring list taking sole possession of the fourth spot. #NBATwitter wasted no time in seizing the moment rehashing the tired debate of whether Bron is better MJ.

Not bad for a player that is considered more of a passer than a scorer.

Last night was an emotional night for the chosen one LeBron James, he opened up the night at the Staples Center only needing 12 points to pass his idol and did so quickly with the record-breaking basket coming on an and one basket.

He was greeted with a standing ovation from the Lakers fans and congratulated by his teammates on the floor before heading to bench visibly emotional after achieving the milestone moment in his career.

The moment as amazing as it was, still was bittersweet as the LeBron and his Lakers slump continued after falling to the Nuggets 115-99 hammering another nail in their coffins as the playoffs are quickly approaching. As you can imagine LeBron fans led by Fox Sports analyst Nick Wright kicked off the LBJ is better than MJ movement while Bron haters led by Skip Bayless used the moment to give backhanded compliments to James while standing by Jordan.

The debate about these two players has been going on for years and seems never-ending with both sides not giving an inch. While statistically, you cannot deny LeBron James is a better all-around basketball player, MJ has him beat when it comes to being a winner especially when it comes to NBA championships. The next player on the list is Kobe Bryant sitting in 3rd place on the list with 33,643 career points. If Bron keeps up his consistent pace of scoring, we will be revisiting Bron’s greatness next season when he passes Bryant.

Hit the gallery below to see all of the reactions to Bron passing his idol. Do you agree that Bron is better Jordan? Or is this a generational debate that just doesn’t need to happen? Let us know in the comment section.

Jay Williams Addresses Charles Barkley’s Ignorance About Mental Illness

Major kudos ESPN’s morning show “Get Up,” as well as former NBA player & ESPN analyst Jay Williams for clapping back at Charles Barkley over recent comments criticizing Adam Silver’s statements on anxiety and depression among NBA players, citing how much money NBA players are worth and how they have no reason to be sad or complain….

During today’s episode, Williams fired back at Barkley, explaining why his comments were upsetting, and how they only create more challenges for people struggling with anxiety and depression to open up about their issues.

“You may have made money and been a superstar, but you don’t walk in their shoes of those individuals. So show empathy towards that and let’s help people saying that, ‘I have issues,’ instead of attacking them. I get pissed off about that.”

Williams is right to get upset. Money can’t buy happiness and Barkley is ignorant AF for calling Silver’s comments dumb and saying NBA players don’t have problems. These players are in high stress jobs, many of them also forced to contend with “the black tax” and who knows what other factors and Barkley has no right to make light of mental illness.

R. Kelly Arrested Over Unpaid Child Support

Just hours after the release of his now viral Gayle King interview, R.Kelly’s back behind bars.

The perverted Pied Piper’s been taken into custody after failing to comply with a judge’s order that he pay more than $161,000 in back child support. That makes sense considering that he didn’t have the $100,000 bail that was set for him on the criminal sex abuse charges and took a handout from a gravely GOOFY daycare owner.

Now The Chicago Tribune’s reporting that Kelly had a closed court hearing in the Daley Center and walked out accompanied by Cook County sheriff’s deputies.

“He’s in our custody,” said Sophia Ansari, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office.

The Sheriff’s Office says he MUST pay $161,663 to be released from jail. His next court date is March 13.

Here’s a shot of him looking freshly Bigened and bloated RIGHT before getting locked up.

The New Flick Will Hit Netflix In April

It seems Gina Rodriguez is taking a break from her colorblind confessions to star in a new romantic comedy headed for Netflix.

In Someone Great, Rodriguez plays Jenny, an aspiring music journalist who gets her dream job in San Francisco. The only issue is she has to leave New York City, and her boyfriend of nine years (Lakeith Stanfield) decides to break up with her. To ease the pain, Rodriguez plans a night to remember with her two best friends.

The flick stars DeWanda Wise from She’s Gotta Have It fame and Brittany Snow from Pitch Perfect.

Considering Rodriguez doesn’t have the best reputation in Black public opinion, the response should be interesting for this movie arriving on Netflix April 19. Check out the trailer below, and let us know if you’re adding it to your list.

On Tuesday, Robert Kelly sat down with CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King to argue that he didn’t sexually abuse women and girls…

And the whole thing was a big, hot mess.

According to CBS News, Kelly is currently facing 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Out of the four alleged victims, three were underage when the suspected crimes occurred. Kelly pleaded not guilty to all charges, and now federal and state authorities are investigating a variety of allegations, especially in the states of New York and Illinois.

Instead of letting the investigations follow through, Robert thought it was a bright idea to go on T.V. to try and convince us that he’s innocent.

Unsurprisingly, Kelly’s interview was filled with moments that didn’t make him seem any less guilty (or ridiculous).

If anything, the interview made Gayle King seem like the MVP of the week. The journalist and T.V. host kept a commendably straight face in the midst of Robert’s tantrums and odd choice of wording.

For example, Kelly said he was tired of the “lies” against him, and when King asked about these lies he speaks of, Kelly responded:

“Oh my God. Um — all of them, got little girls trapped in the basement… helicopters over my house trying to rescue someone that doesn’t need rescuing because they’re not in my house. Handcuffing people, starving people. I have a harem, what you call it – a cult. I don’t even really know what a cult is. But I know I don’t have one.”

Mhm.

King then asked Kelly if he’s broken any laws when it comes to women, to which he replied, “absolutely not.”

She pressed the question when she brought up the monumental Lifetime documentary Surviving R. Kelly, which showed alleged victims detailing Kelly’s history of abuse.

“If you really look at that documentary, which I’m sure you have… everybody says something bad about me,” Kelly said. “Nobody said nothing good. They were describing Lucifer. I’m not Lucifer. I’m a man. I make mistakes, but I’m not a devil, and by no means am I a monster.”

In the interview, Kelly also denied that he’s ever had sex with someone under 17 years old.

Then, probably the most outrageous part of the interview came when Gayle questioned Kelly on whether he’s ever held someone against their will.

That’s when the dramatics exploded:

“I didn’t do this stuff,” Kelly said. “This is not me. I’m fighting for my fu*king life! Ya killing me with this sh*t!”

Peep the tirade for yourself in the second video below.

The dramatic tone shift had the Internet completely and utterly over Kelly.

Two captured moments, in particular, sparked hilarious commentary and profound observations.

Hit the next pages for more comments to go with Kelly’s dramatics.

They range from pure comedy to the undeniable truths.

For some reason, R. Kelly decided it would be a good idea to do a TV interview amid his severe sexual abuse charges. On Tuesday, the singer — who has been accused of partaking in sexual acts with three children older than 13 but younger than 17 — spoke out in his first post-jail interview since turning himself in to Chicago police last month.

He opened up to CBS This Morning with Gayle King saying:

“They’re going back to the past and they trying to add all of this stuff now to that, to make all of the stuff that’s going on now [feel] real to people. be stupid of him to hold girls against their will. Use your common sense. Forget the blogs, forget how you feel about me. Hate me if you want to; love me if you want. But just use your common sense.

Kelly added:

“How stupid would it be for me with my crazy past and what I’ve been through? I didn’t do this stuff. This is not me. I’m fighting for my f****** life.”

The 52-year old was charged in on Feb. 22 with 10 counts of felony aggravated sexual abuse. If convicted, he faces three to seven years in prison for each count. Check out R. Kelly’s tearful plea above.
