The couples are as vulnerable and raw as ever as they share their emotional journeys and continue to find true love beyond prison walls.

Meet The Couples:

Hope & Arthur (Dallas, TX)

Hope is a truck driver who seems to have a tough exterior, but has a soft side for her boyfriend, Arthur, who is currently behind bars. Although Hope and Arthur are in love, there are some trust issues they have to work through to make their relationship work. Hope was unfaithful to Arthur during his incarceration and he isn’t sticking around if that happens again.

Bianca & Daniel (Dania Beach, FL)

At 23 years old, Bianca was the victim of a DUI crash which nearly cost her her life. While she was in recovery, she decided to reach out to someone who committed the same crime she was a victim of to get more insight into why someone would drink and drive. But this penpal quickly turned into a fiancé.

Kimberly & Joey (Eden, NC)

A married mom of 2, Kim reached out to Joey to reconnect during her separation from her children’s father. Now with Joey getting released, they both try to keep their exes in the past, but Joey receives a suspicious message in prison claiming that Kim is cheating on him! Kim assures Joey it is a lie, but is baffled as to who is going out of their way to break up their relationship. Could it be her ex? Could it be his?

Shonta & True (Kansas City, MO)

Shonta & True began their love story on Love During Lockup Season 5, where we learned Shonta spent $40k and moved across state lines for someone she’s never met. In Love After Lockup, Shonta finally meets her fiancé, True, face-to-face for the first time at his release after spending 13 years in prison.

Zeruiah & Troy (Syracuse, NY)

Zeruiah is a pastor’s daughter who grew up in a strict household but started rebelling in her teens with the men she dated. Zeruiah’s ex-husband and son’s father was locked up and she wound up falling for his cell neighbor, Troy. She divorced her ex and married Troy. Although Zeruiah’s family is accepting of her relationship, they are still weary of it. Her parents feel that if Troy is going to be a part of the family, he needs to be a part of the Church.

Julian & Christine (Annapolis, MD)

The phrase ‘opposites attract’ fits perfectly when it comes to Julian and Christine. Julian, a conservative aspiring writer, found himself in an unexpected relationship when book research led him to the love of his life. When Julian reached out to Christine, an inmate locked up for bank robbery, he intended to get some insight for his book, but instead found a connection he never expected.

Latisha & Keith (Davenport, IA)

Latisha and Keith’s love story started in Love During Lockup Season 4F, and now with Keith meant to get out any day, Latisha is overjoyed for Love After Lockup. A recently-passed law could grant Keith an immediate release! Latisha can’t wait for Keith to get out and finally consummate their marriage!

The highly-anticipated new season of Love After Lockup premieres on WeTV Friday, July 26th at 9pm ET/8pm CT with 10 must-see 90-minute episodes.

Sonya Massey: Illinois Deputy Charged With First-Degree Murder Of Black Woman After Argument Over Pot Of Water

This damn story ran us HOT and we’re pretty sure it’s gonna do you the same.

One of the arguments for defunding the police is that they are asked to do a lot things that they aren’t qualified to do. Some of the money being spent on firearms, armored vehicles, and tactical doo-dads could be spent on hiring mental health professionals who can answer calls and help people who are in crisis. A gun, a badge, and a maliciously short temper has never helped a single person.

Sonya Massey was 36-years-old when she was gunned down on July 6 by Sangamon County Deputy Sean Grayson in central Illinois. According to NBCNews, She called 911 for help because she believed that a prowler was casing her property. Sure enough, when Grayson and his partner arrived at her home, they found her car and noticed that it appeared to have been burglarized.

Here’s where things went left.

A police summary of the incident states that Grayson and another deputy entered Massey’s home where she was “distraught and not thinking clearly”. Grayson motioned toward a pot of boiling water and Massey removed it and set it in the sink. The report states that Massey told the deputies, “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus” twice to which Grayson replied:

“I swear to God. I will shoot you right in your f—— face,” according to the summary.

In fear, Massey threw her hands in the air and apologized to the officers before she threw the water onto a chair next to her. Upon throwing the water, Grayson fired three shots, one of them hit Massey in the face.

B-b-b-b-but wait! It gets worse!

After shooting Massey, Grayson refused to render aid and stopped the other deputy from retrieving a medical kit to help her. Grayson has been fired from the department and indicted on charges of first degree murder. Sangamon County Sheriff Jack Campbell said that Grayson “did not act as trained or in accordance with our standards.”

It’s A Draw: Verdict Reached In Odell Beckham Jr.’s Nike Lawsuit, Brand Boasts That OBJ Didn’t Receive A Dime

The jury reached an interesting verdict in Odell Beckham’s lawsuit against Nike finding no one at fault and awarding zero compensation. Still, the NFL player and the footwear giant are both pleased, especially Nike which boasted about not having to pay a monetary award.

Odell Beckham Jr. has spent his summer relaxing and enjoying his new role on the Miami Dolphins after a short stint on the Baltimore Ravens. The NFL star has already won a ring and proven that even in the later stages of his career, he can still be a team asset.

As he continues playing, it’s hard to miss the colorful array of customized Nike gloves and cleats he wears, but they’ve unfortunately been at the center of his recent legal issues with the brand.

Back in 2022, we reported that the NFL player sued Nike for alleged breach of contract, reformation, and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, alleging that they withheld royalties owed to him under terms of a sponsorship deal. The brand countersued alleging that the customizations Beckham made to Nike-branded gloves were outside the terms of his contract and that he violated the contract by disclosing confidential deal terms. Nike sought damages of between $7 and $15 million while Odell asked for $862,000 in damages.

Fast forward to the present day, and according to The Portland Business Journal, Odell’s lawyer Chad Colton alleged in court that Nike had an undisclosed issue with Odell’s customizations and said they created “glove penalties to use as leverage” during negotiations.

“This is nothing but an effort to retaliate against Beckham for standing up for himself,” and to make an example out of him for other athletes, Colton said according to the Business Journal.

By contrast, Nike’s lawyer, Maurice Suh of Gibson Dunn, shared photos of Beckham’s glove customizations over the years showing that some of the designs even covered Nike’s iconic swoosh logo to prove that Odell violated his contract, reports the Business Journal. Suh said that the footballer was well aware of the issue and told several times about it, but the “violations continued to happen.”

“Mr. Beckham fundamentally believes the rules don’t apply to him,” said the lawyer.

A jury ruled Nike didn’t breach the contract with the wide receiver by enforcing its “glove penalties” and also ruled that Beckham’s gloves didn’t breach his side of the contract.

On Thursday, Odell took to Instagram to address the outcome.

“JUST DO……RIGHT @nike . I wanna take this moment to thank God first and foremost thank you Heavenly Father. I wanna thank my team for every hour they have spent preparing on this case. I wanna thank the jury for simply doing what’s right in a world full of wrong… my message to whoever needs this is, STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN! JUSTICE WAS SERVED!!!”

Despite Odell calling it a victory, Nike issued a shady statement letting the world know they didn’t pay him a dime in the outcome.

“With this verdict, all of Mr. Beckham’s claims have been decided against him without any monetary award,” they told Complex. “The decision confirmed that Nike complied with its commitments. Nike is grateful to the jury and the Court for their careful attention to this case.”

While there, we soaked up good vibes on the magic-splashed ride, grooved to the spunky Soul of Tank & The Bangas, and with Princess Tiana herself Anika Noni Rose who reunited with The Princess And The Frog co-stars Jenifer Lewis, Keith David, Michael-Leon Wooley, Jennifer Cody, Bruno Campos, and Jim Cummings to experience the ride while commemorating the 15th Anniversary of the culture-shifting film.

Surrounded by authentic NOLA culture and wonder, we had a time at the Sunset Soirée where The Princess And The Frog cast and other special attendees including New Orleans Saints All-Pro Defensive lineman Cam Jordan and Tamron Hall revealed their dream Tiana’s Palace guests and more on the bustling press line.

Along the way, Princess Tiana fans were treated to more than a few unforgettable moments including Jenifer Lewis seeing the Animatronic version of Mama Odie for the first time.

Another favorite of ours was the big ‘ole reveal of the ride’s opening date that trended across social media.

In a truly epic moment, Princess Tiana and Louis the Alligator celebrated the reveal in New Orleans with some festive friends, including 5-time Grammy-winner PJ Morton who, aside from writing “Special Spice”–a new song for the attraction’s finale, directed the famous New Orleans-based St. Augustine High School band in the video.

In a video shared to Brown’s Instagram page and on TMZ on July 17, Lil’ Kim, 50, was spotted getting a little flirty and close with the former football player while performing her 1995 classic “Get Money” in front of a rambunctious crowd for celeb music manager’s Big Fendi’s party.

Wearing a long-sleeve pink mini dress, oversized black sunglasses, and shiny jewels, the Hard Core rapper could be seen spitting the song as Brown, 30, sat next to her.

At one point, the New York native leaned in close to the athlete as he nestled his head into her chest and caressed her copious cakes.

“Put that s**t on @lilkimthequeenbee…,” the former football star captioned the steamy video.

TMZ obtained several videos showing the stars hanging out and sitting side by side after Kim’s performance. The outlet also shared a photo of Kim and AB kissing, which Antonio Brown used as the cover image for his Instagram video.

Both parties have not yet confirmed if they are in a romantic relationship, but the surprising photos caused a ruckus on X (formerly Twitter). Some fans said they could see why both of the celebs were into each other due to their big personalities. Others were completely confused by the move.

Lil Kim Sparked Romance Rumors With 24-Year-Old Tayy Brown Earlier This Year 

Several users pondered if Kim had ended her alleged romance with 24-year-old rapper, Tayy Brown, whom she debuted on Instagram in April and wrote a sweet birthday message to in February.

“I know this post is a little late but I was blessed enough to spend ur whole birthday with U and we’re still celebrating…Our bond is so perfectly matched in the most organic way. I kno it was God that brought us 2gether,” she wrote in the since deleted Instagram post, according to The Shade Room.

Additionally, Tayy Brown and Kim collaborated on a track that same month called “Love For Ya.”

On April 8, a video from The Neighborhood Talk captured Kim in a close and flirty interaction with Brown while promoting items from her upcoming Adidas collaboration. Though they didn’t confirm a romantic relationship, their playful demeanor sparked online debate, particularly due to their significant 26-year age gap.

One user in the comments section wrote;

“What is going on with all these grown ass women dating these little boys that could be their sons I don’t understand it. I have a son that is 24 years old. I will be pissed to see him with a 50-year-old.”

After promising a new mixtape months ago and then going missing in action, Future has returned and delivered the lost video for “Rotation.”

Future has been one of the highest-volume shooters in hip-hop for years. From Monster to his latest back-to-back offering alongside Metro Boomin his style and output are unmatched. Even after his recently released albums, We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, he still has more in store for his fans.

Earlier this summer Pluto announced a new mixtape but he seemingly went into hiding leaving everyone in the dark.

Last night, however, he took to Instagram to release the long-lost video for the “Rotation” from his DS2 project. In the caption, he cited the 9th anniversary of the album as an inspiration and alleged that “DS2 Pluto Back.”

That’s a strong claim from the Atlanta artist whose album DS2 marked a moment in time for many fans. Even if he doesn’t recreate those iconic vibes, if he can come close we’re in store for a treat.

If we’re lucky maybe even DJ Esco will be an executive producer on the project after being on hiatus. .

ScHoolboy Q Questions Canceled Toronto Show At Drake Co-Owned Venue– ‘When Sumbody Get Hurt Don’t Cry’

Kendrick Lamar’s Black Hippy cohort ScHoolboy Q recently wondered why his Toronto concert was canceled, and he hinted that Drake could be to blame.

When it comes to rap beef there will always be collateral damage, like when Rick Ross recently felt the wrath of Drake fans for playing Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us“ to a Canadian crowd.

And although the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar is over, the fallout continues; at least according to ScHoolboy Q.

On Wednesday, the rapper’s Toronto show was abruptly canceled and ScHoolboy Q alleged that Toronto Police and Drake were behind it, especially since the History concert venue he booked has ties to Live Nation and Drizzy.

“THey just cancelled my sHow in TORONTO 😂… CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT NOBODY FROM TDE PERFORMING..” tweeted the rapper Wednesday night.

While his claims were unconfirmed, ScHoolboy Q continued his rant by putting on a tin foil hat and going down a rabbit hole. In a series of tweets, he noted that TDE label boss Top Dawg was just with Cash Money founders Baby and Slim, who of course are Drake affiliated, with no problem. He also pointed out that OVO artist PartyNextDoor just performed in LA at the Palladium with no issue.

Eventually, ScHoolboy Q laughed it off and he reflected on his appearance at Kendrick’s “The Pop Out” concert and in the “Not Like Us” video. In a hilarious turn of events, he tweeted that he “gets it” and asked why Kendrick put him in the video in the first place.

There’s no proof of ScHoolboy Q’s sabotage claims, but we have to admit that watching him tweet his thoughts on the matter was hilarious.

Brandon Karson: It felt right. I’m the one in the house that loves to keep the fun going, and keep the people laughing and having a great time. Everybody knows that a great time starts with a great drink. I actually used to bartend shirtless for a living. It also got me thinking…maybe I can turn this into a business.

What is your personal drink of choice?

A French 75, but made with cognac. Truly a life hack. Use Hennessy if you want your legs to the moon by the end of the night.

Koaty & Sumner: We hosted the competition to foster collaboration and create a stronger bond among our housemates. Although we all work in the adult entertainment industry, our content caters to different audiences. This event allowed us to introduce the cast to our YouTube fan base, giving them a platform to showcase their personalities and market themselves in a fun, PG manner to a new audience. Plus, it was a fantastic opportunity to break out of our usual routine and enjoy some lighthearted fun together.

BOSSIP: What is your personal drink of choice?

We love a good Moscow Mule. It’s our go-to drink at any restaurant or event!
