Vice President Kamala Harris is off to the races with a whole lot of money in her political pocketbook and a new uber-enthusiastic bloc of voters who are ready to seat her in the Oval Office. Today was VP Harris’ first campaign stop as a presidential candidate, and the folks who attended the event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, were ecstatic to see who they believe will be the next president of the United States.

Between her speech yesterday at her campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, and her remarks today, VP Harris is making it very clear she and Donald Trump couldn’t possibly be more different in character. She described this election as “a choice between freedom and chaos.”

She continued (via AP News):

“In this campaign, I promise you, I will proudly put my record against his any day of the week,” Harris said. “We believe in a future where every person has the opportunity not just to get by, but to get ahead.”

Peep her full remarks in the video below.

You hear that crowd? You hear how that Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar “Freedom” was ringing off in there? They are READY.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is returning for season 12 tonight, and one of the show’s staples, Rasheeda, is exclusively detailing the dynamic between her and the woman who welcomed a child with her husband during their marriage.

“I want to be able to come to a relaxed place with this situation,” she told BOSSIP.

As previously reported, MTV’s hit docuseries, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is set to return TONIGHT Tuesday, July 23 at 8 PM.

As always the series known for highlighting the stories behind the music will feature Rasheeda and her husband Kirk who’s having some hiccups with the mother of his child, Jasmine.

In a clip shared exclusively with BOSSIP, Kirk was seen ranting about his baby mama after DFCS allegedly called him about their son, Cannon.

In the clip, Kirk called it a red flag and alleged that the woman was “on the prowl” trying to get someone to take care of her.

Rasheeda added in a confessional that she believes Jasmine is “losing sight [of things]” because the “things she wants and allegedly asks for” are for herself, and not the child.

“I been dealing with this bulls*** for years,” said Rasheeda. “Jasmine, she needs to start learning that you can’t expect certain things. What it’s about is Kirk financially taking care of Cannon.”

According to Rasheeda, you’ll see not only that moment but later a sit down with her and Jasmine to hash things out.

“In all truth, things change, life happens, realities happen especially when there’s a child involved and at the end of the day I want to be able to come to a relaxed place with this situation,” she told BOSSIP’s Managing Editor Dani Canada.

She also said she gets often asked for advice about dealing with her marital situation from women of all ages.

“Honestly, I never really thought so many people who have been through so many crazy things, a similar situation, all ages from women my grandmother’s age [would reach out to me]…people are human, mistakes happen.”

Elsewhere in the convo she also spoke on her divorced friends Bambi and Scrappy who were seemingly at odds up until this weekend when they were spotted clubbing together in ATL. According to Rasheeda, she’s disappointed by what transpired between the exes, but she respects their decision to split.

“I don’t really feel in the middle [of them],” she told BOSSIP’s Managing Editor Dani Canada. “But what I will say is after being married for an extremely long time you know know how things can get and things can change. Things get difficult more than anything just really trying to be there to support them within their marriage and, you know, we wanted it to go a different route. That’s what we were rooting for but it didn’t and you just have be there to support people. No matter what decisions they make.”

Sonya Massey was shot dead by a Sangamon County sheriff’s deputy on July 6 after calling 911 for help with a potential prowler. BOSSIP recently reported on the incident and today we have a new and disturbing development.

According to WANDTV, The Sangamon County State’s Attorney released the body camera footage from that fateful night and we now understand why Deputy Sean Grayson was charged with first-degree murder. Sonya Massey did not have to die. She did nothing whatsoever to put these officer’s lives at risk. Sean Grayson should spend the rest of his days behind bars in the most cop-hating prison in America.

Warning: This video is very disturbing.

Ubiquitous civil rights attorney Ben Crump is representing the family and spoke at a news conference following Massey’s funeral on Friday.

“We promised Sonya Massey’s family that we would fight for them to get full justice,” said Crump. “Whole justice. Not partial justice, not half justice, not 3/5 justice. The whole justice. We want the same justice that would happen had that been a white mother of two teenagers who called the police.”

In the wake of the release of this sickening video, President Joe Biden took to Twitter to react, offer condolences, and speak to the need for serious police reform in this country.

We will be following this case very closely and will have more details as they become available.

Former Bachelorette contestant Bryan Abasolo is giving fans more details about his life with wife Rachel Lindsay before he filed for divorce.

Celebrities Visit Build - September 30, 2019

The chiropractor, who refers to himself as “Dr. Abs,” filed for divorce from the media mogul back in January. Now, he’s speaking out about what their relationship was like prior to their split, opening up during an interview with his divorce coach, Rene Garcia.

During their conversation, Abasolo revealed that he first began considering divorce because he “had already asked for a separation a few months back.”

“I was sleeping in a different bedroom,” the chiropractor revealed. We were already going to marriage counseling.”

Because the couples counseling “seemed to be working,” Abasolo admitted that he had some second thoughts about initiating the divorce, saying, “I actually set aside my divorce thoughts to give the relationship one last major push but as time went on, things just went right back to the way they were.”

Bryan went on to explain that he and Lindsay had an “unhealthy communication pattern,” going on to reveal that he was learning about her life mostly through social media.

“We didn’t spend enough time with each other,” he explained. “I mean, in my estimation, we saw what the other person was doing in the relationship, mainly on Instagram, although we lived in the same house.”

In the end, Abasolo said that he asked for a divorce after the couple had an argument on December 31, 2023.

“That was one of the toughest things I ever had to do in my life,” he explained. “How I felt when I did it, I felt like I was being blindfolded and then suddenly I was able to see sunlight,” he recalled. “ It was uncomfortable and then there was the other end of the spectrum, there was all this fear that entered my body.”

Abasolo continued: “It was just a huge mix of emotions so on one end, I was in a weird friend zone situation for a while and we started to live different lives and our interests and our priorities “They … no longer aligned and if I look at the other aspect of it, there was this huge admiration for her and all these amazing times and amazing feelings at us both starting with very little and being part of a true team that cared about each other and I felt like I was doing my part as a husband and that felt great.”

“There came a time where I needed to stop letting circumstances and my fear delay what was inevitably going to happen,” he admitted.

Abasolo filed for divorce from the former Bachelorette after four years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. A few months later, in May, he requested emergency spousal support and at least $75,000 in legal fees from his ex, who then claimed he was “not in need” of the funds. In documents obtained by PEOPLE, Linsday also said the requested amount “far exceed the actual marital lifestyle and his need.”

Social media is ABLAZE over President Joe Biden leaving the 2024 Presidential race and endorsing VP Kamala Harris for President in an unprecedented turn of events that sent the political world into a full-fledged FRENZY.

In a statement that will reverberate through history, President Biden announced he was stepping down from the 2024 Presidential race before endorsing VP Harris who intends to “earn and win” the Democratic nomination.

“On behalf of the American people, I thank Joe Biden for his extraordinary leadership as President of the United States and for his decades of service to our country,” wrote Madam Vice President in an official statement shared on Twitter X.

“His remarkable legacy of accomplishment is unmatched in modern American history, surpassing the legacy of many Presidents who have served two terms in office.”

She went on to confirm that she was “honored to have the President’s endorsement” and that she intended to “earn and win this nomination.”

“Over the past year, I have traveled across the country, talking with Americans about the clear choice in this momentous election. And that is what I will continue to do in the days and weeks ahead. I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party—and unite our nation—to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda. “We have 107 days until Election Day. Together, we will fight. And together, we will win.”

Her statement comes amid President Barack Obama and Forever Flotus Michelle Obama releasing a joint statement backing her.

Other big name celebs including Cardi B, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Shonda Rhimes, John Legend, Janelle Monáe, Jenifer Lewis, Spike Lee, and more reacted to the news online.

Naturally, Black Twitter exploded with (hilarious) reactions to the news ahead of VP Harris potentially clinching the Democratic nomination at the upcoming convention.

Kash Doll is “single” and “DGAF” after announcing she broke up with Tracy T only one month after welcoming their second child. While the news shocked supporters of the rappers’ romance and growing family, baby daddy Tracy entered the chat to prove he’s equally unbothered.

As a new mom of two and three years into a high-profile relationship, there is nothing easy about walking away. Haters are nothing new for the Detroit rapper, but she anticipated extra stress and stigma as a single mother. That didn’t stop Kash Doll from choosing herself and focusing on her own happiness because she definitely “DGAF” about the “baby mama” backlash.

Kash Doll took to Instagram Stories to share her unexpected new relationship status.

“SINGLE…. AND IDGAF ABOUT Y’ALL SAYING I HAVE TWO KIDS BY HIM. NOW I’M JUST A BABY MOMMA BLAH BLAH BLAH… I’M NOT DEALING WITH JUST ANYTHING TO JUST KEEP MY FAMILY TOGETHER,” she wrote.

Tell ’em how you really feel, Kash Doll!

Kash Doll Opens Up About The Reason For Her Breakup, Tracy T Responds

Source: Prince Williams / Getty

The “Ready Set” rapper returned to social media after deleting the post to call out the people more invested in her relationship than her artistry.

“Posting something like that, it just goes to show how quick everybody pick up anything with your personal life. But when you’re an album, a song, or merch, or things that put money in your pocket,” she revealed.

“Everybody wants to talk about you and put you down in your worst moments or laugh or ‘I told you so,’ when none of our life is f**king perfect,” Kash doll continued.

In addition to questioning so-called fans’ motives, she opened up about her own for wanting the split. The Instagram announcement sounds like she’s fed up after dealing with drama. Yet Kash Doll was very straightforward about why her relationship with Tracy T didn’t work out: “One person wasn’t ready.”

“No relationship would be perfect until both parties is ready. And that has nothing to do with what type of woman you are or what type of man that is. Just one person wasn’t ready and one person could’ve been,” Kash Doll explained.

She added that she goes through struggles and situations like everyone else. Yet we would never know because she keeps her private life private on social media.

“I don’t sit up here on social media and just talk about my business all of the time, but I go through s**t just like y’all… I never claim to have the perfect situation. I just express it through pictures and videos,” she continued.

“I didn’t hide my situation because I had beautiful kids out of it, but that’s not my life of just sitting here pretending like everything is ok, because it’s not.”

The BMF actress went on to confirm that she’s so happy to be a mother that “keeping a man” isn’t her biggest concern. KD insisted that her family will be good regardless of the relationship. She also noted that not even marriage could or should keep a couple together if they’re not right or ready for each other.

Tracy T also entered the chat after concerned comments started to pour in. He logged into IG Live to respond to a message to “keep your head up.”

“What the f**k you think wrong with me? I’m ok, man,” he assured his followers.

Welp, it looks like everyone is in a good place about moving on, at least on their public platforms. As long as both exes can coparent 2-year-old Kashton and 1-month-old Klarity as peacefully as they sound now, the end of their coupledom doesn’t have to be the end of the world.

2015 BET Hip Hop Awards - Arrivals

Where is Erica Dixon???? Are Bambi and Scrappy copacetic co-parents or something more??? These are the questions that are being asked after the divorced spouses/#LHHATL stars were spotted during a night out.

A July 20 video obtained by the Shade Room captured Bambi and the rapper enjoying themselves in V.I.P., laughing and smoking hookah with friends during a night out on the town. Via her Instagram Story, Bambi revealed that the Scrappy entertained her with a few jokes, enlisting the bottle girls to carry around signs adorned with the phrases “Broke baby daddy” and “Rich baby mama.”

“The Troll of the Year,” the mother of three captioned her video.

After their unexpected link-up, the Shade Room caught up with the duo and asked if they were “rekindling” their relationship. Scrappy, 40, kept things mum, but stated that he was “just living and staying positive.”

Bambi added;

“We are absolutely working together to do our best to stay on the same page when it comes to the wellbeing of our children. Taking it one step at a time.”

Some fans had lots to say about that, with some questioning what clubbing has to do with co-parenting.

“How you co parenting at the club without the kids,” wrote one fan in TSR’s comments. “You don’t have to party with your bm/bd to co parent though, guess that’s just me,” added another.

Others, including some fellow reality stars, were more positive.

“Baby steps is better than no steps ❤️,” said Ebony Avery of Real Chance of Love fame.

“I really like this alot,” added Bambi and Scrappy’s #LHHATL co-star Sierra Gates.

Why Did Lil Scrappy And Bambi Divorce?

Bambi and Lil Scrappy’s renewed friendship comes after the couple went through a rocky divorce all throughout 2023. In July, the “No Love” artist and his ex-wife threw divorce parties to celebrate the end of their union. In November of last year, Bambi confirmed that she had filed for divorce,  a few months before she began filming Season 10 of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta, according to a video obtained by 9MagTV.  She claimed Scrappy’s infidelity, lack of support, and miscommunication fueled the end of their romance.

“The final straw was him cheating and the person that it was with, it was an ex,” Bambi shared during an interview on Amanda Seales’ Small Doses podcast in 2023. “But we did have some issues going on already.”

Earlier this year, Lil Scrappy stopped by The Baller Alert Show, which aired on YouTube on Jan. 30, and alleged Bambi’s “narcissistic” ways were responsible for their split.

“I was diagnosed with narcissistic abuse,” the Atlanta native explained at the time. “I was with a person that was very narcissistic and just was too much into [themselves] to even pour back into my cup. It was a lot poured, but nothing poured back in.”

Bambi and Lil Scrappy began dating in 2013. The former lovebirds secretly tied the knot in 2017 and welcomed three children: Breland, Xylo, and Cali.

What do you think? Are you happy to see Bambi and Lil Scrappy reuniting; even if it’s “just for the kids”?
