Cardi B is a trendsetting icon in everything from clothes and shoes to makeup and nails, but now her natural hair is what everybody’s talking about. She recently Tweeted an update about her hair growth journey and posted a picture of her hair that’s waist-length and thicker than half a dozen bundles!
“So I’ve been so consistent with my hair mask routine and drinking alkaline water, and look how much my hair has grown! I was so scared of my hair falling out after my son’s birth because I’d been growing it for years now, so I made sure to keep up with it and I actually gain hair.”
The “Rumors“ rapper is an open book when it comes to her hair and with results like that, we’re taking notes! Last spring, she proudly posted her wash-day routine on Instagram stories. A few months after that, Cardi posted an Instagram story of her creating the homemade hair mask she credits with maintaining healthy hair for herself and Kulture.
The results speak for themselves!
Cardi also noted that her epic collection of wigs “helps with hair growth ALOT!”
There were skeptics about Cardi’s success, claiming her mixed Dominican heritage contributed more to her hair journey than the consistency, healthy lifestyle, and hair mask. Cardi followed up her length-check with a fact-check on Instagram.
“Why everytime I post my natural hair I hear ‘you’re MIXED you’re supposed to have long hair’? That’s not true and very misleading,” Cardi captioned a series of pictures showing her natural hair since childhood.
Cardi went on to speak to the complicated history of Black hair that has made it difficult for people with tight kinks and curls to properly care for their hair.
“I want women of color with tighter curl patterns to know that you don’t have “BAD HAIR” there’s no such thing as bad hair . and “good” hair don’t mean a certain texture. ALL HAIR IS GOOD.”
The Instagram series ended with a video of Cardi flicking and flipping her luscious locks, simply saying, “It’s a lot of hair!”
She also posted throwback pictures to Twitter to set the record straight.
“ItS gEnEtICS! No it’s proper hair maintenance.I have a hair texture that requires lots of love and maintenance. This pictures show my hair from childhood,high school & adult hood and since I started takin care of my hair the right way it has grown TREMENDOUSLY!”

Could Nene Leakes be making her return to Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta?!

Let’s not forget Nene Leakes called it quits and walked away from the franchise show in the middle of the Season 12 reunion. Now, she’s speaking out and stated that she would be okay with returning to the show.
At the time she confirmed she would not be participating in Season 13, the 53-year-old recent widow had burned nearly every bridge imaginable.
To Nene’s defense she was dealing with a lot of things at once. Her late husband, Gregg Leakes, was battling cancer and she was his sole caretaker. This also resulted in her lashing out at cast and crew members.
But time has past and Nene Leakes is now a new woman ready to reclaim her title on the show and hold the peach that she deserves.
However, getting back on the show might take some heartfelt apologies to Andy and Bravo. At the time of her exit from the show Leakes publicly trashed Andy and Bravo and encouraged viewers to boycott RHOA, and – in one Twitter rant – called both Cohen and the network “racist.”
Just recently she appeared on an episode of The Real, was asked about the topic of a potential comeback.
“I would return to the show. I’m OK with returning to the show. As long as we can work through a few things, I’m happy to return to the show. And besides,” she added, “I have a lot of unfinished business with a couple of them that they ‘confirmed’ on the show.” She made sure to gesture a dramatic eye roll.”
Surprisingly, Kenya Moore is in favor of Nene Leakes making a comeback too. According to Page Six if Kenya Moore could give Nene Leakes her peach back she would.
“I do think that she has a very interesting story to tell now, especially with the unfortunate passing of her husband [Gregg Leakes],” Moore, 50, exclusively told Page Six in a new interview.”
If it were up to her fans, they would say, ‘Absolutely yes, bring her back.’ She was a viable cast member for many, many years,” said Kenya Moore. “[She’s] one of the OGs and you can’t take that away from the franchise.”
This says a lot coming from Kenya and their many years of beefing.
What exactly would it take for Nene to come back, she stated that Cohen somehow owed her.
“I think Andy and I were really close for a really, really long time,” she said, adding that she had a lot of love for his 2-year-old son, Benjamin.
She also made it point to say that she “helped pay for his baby shower” back in January of 2019. She told The Real that once she and Andy “have a sit-down and talk,” they’ll be “off to the races.”
So who knows! Maybe the two can make up and be friends again and fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta can see Nene grace their screens again.

Lil Nas X isn’t playing! Or is he? It’s always tricky to tell with him. The “Industry Baby” singer recently said that he’s bored with trolling Boosie, but the rest of us are still fair game. He already took us to heaven, hell, and jail, so what’s left? Maury!
This week the classic daytime talk show announced on Twitter that Lil Nas X will appear on an “all new EXCLUSIVE Maury” on Nov. 17. The hilarious promotional video promises everything that made the show an iconic guilty pleasure: a love triangle, a secret spouse, heartbreak, and of course, a paternity test!
Is any episode of Maury really complete without someone taking off running like Usain Bolt? The video shows the Grammy winner confronting his ex, Yai Ariza, about hiding a wife and child. Or did Yai just hide the world from his child? Either way, Lil Nas X (aka Montero) is the one sprinting backstage by the end of the clip. He perfected the form of the Maury run with his arms flailing backward to guarantee maximum ugly crying during the breakdown.
Fans will recognize Yai and his secret family from the super-steamy music video for “That’s What I Want,” which is also the background music in the trailer.
Whatever Lil Nas X has planned must be major, because he’s been suspiciously silent on Twitter since his jaw-dropping transformation into Voldermort from Harry Potter for Halloween.
This unexpected cross-over left some people wondering whether the episode or even the rest of the Maury show is real. According to TODAY, a representative confirmed that Lil Nas X will appear on the show. The description for the episode breaks down all juicy details.
“On today’s all-new exclusive Maury, Montero and Yai are football teammates who quickly became lovers,” the episode listing said. “Montero was shocked to discover soon after that Yai was married with a child. Now, Montero is here to tell Yai’s wife, Ashley, about their secret love affair. Montero also needs to know if Yai is the father of Ashley’s child. Maury will get the answers they need. Will Montero get exactly what he wants?”
