Saturday Night Live - Season 47

Saweetie served sexy old Hollywood glamour in her Saturday Night Live debut as the musical guest. The “money-making mami” gave us a preview on her Instagram in a stunning emerald green gown and iced-out chandelier earrings.

The flawless beauty rocked a bright red bob and sparkling floor-length gown in her signature icy blue color for a retro performance of “Tap In,” the lead single from her long-awaited album, Pretty Bitch Music. Then Saweetie turned up the energy even higher with a transition to a bodysuit and her Doja Cat collaboration, “Best Friend.”

After the sexy thigh meat reveal, Saweetie joined her tutu-toting backup dancers for a sultry ballet-themed end to the medley. We’ve seen plenty of great pole-dancing performances already, so the West Coast baddie switched it up at the ballet bar. Watch Saweetie slay the SNL stage for the first time!

Saweetie returned to the stage against a backdrop of “icy” spelled out in giant illuminated letters. Rocking a sparkling corset-style mini dress, she was a show-stopper with her twerktastic debut performance of “Icy Chain.” Check out Saweetie’s newest single.

This may be Saweetie’s first time taking over the SNL stage, but with hits and star power like this, it won’t be her last. Both performances are even more impressive considering that a week ago, the “Slow Clap” rapper did double duty as a performer and the host of the MTV Europe Music Awards. She descended from the ceiling in a giant blinged-out snowflake like the icy icon she is before setting the stage on fire with her live performance in Budapest, Hungary.

Sis is clearly working hard and that perfectionism is why we’re still waiting for Pretty Bitch Music to drop. Saweetie previously told Rolling Stone, “I don’t want to just put my name on something and then put it out. For greatness, I have to take my time — and I’m literally starting from scratch.” She said she dropped several of the songs that were originally planned for the album because she’s “grown significantly through quarantine.”

The growth is definitely showing as Saweetie evolves as an artist. Pretty Bitch Music is expected to drop in early 2022.

What did you think of Saweetie’s performances on SNL? Are you feeling “Icy Chain?”

Garth Brooks returned to Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Friday to sing songs and share stories from his Country Music Hall of Fame career.

Mickey Guyton told fans her son was sick with a stomach virus which caused dehydration and a trip to the ICU. She says he is “doing much better” now.

Baby Jenkins is almost here!

Jeannie And Jeezy Surprise Baby Shower

The ladies of The Real threw their co-host and first-time mom, Jeannie Mai Jenkins, a surprise baby shower on the show Friday. Not only did they surprise the television host with a shower but they also brought out a special guest to complete the celebration. Yes you guessed it, The Real brought out Jeannie’s husband, Jeezy and the tears immediately started flowing.

On September 20th the couple revealed to the world that they were expecting. The two have been going strong since first dating in November of 2018. Now just 7 months after officially being a married couple the new parents are excited for the start of something new.

“I think from the moment we initially first talked about being married, we talked about having something together, whether that was real estate businesses, all those things, but God gave us a child first and I’m just excited to see the first thing that we have together is actually from the both of us. I feel like that’s what we both need right now at our ages and just in our careers. Like Mama Mai said, we ain’t going to spoil the Baby J, you guys are. I’m just excited about us actually having this experience together.”

The couple hasn’t revealed what the baby’s gender is and honestly can’t at the moment because they have no idea. Loni Love decided to dig a little deeper and ask the pair what would they prefer or like.

“I know what I think. I think it’s a boy for sure,” said Jeezy. “I admit, it’s just one of those things where you just know. I just feel like at this point in time, it feels like we need a boy. By the way, you need somebody that is going to be tough like you right now.”

This lucky Liibra seems very confident in the sex of his child and maybe he’s right! Only time will tell for the couple who are expected to deliver before the end of the year.

What do you think the lovely couple is having? Are you team boy or girl? Let us know below!
