Kash Doll is fed up with the endless commentary from haters. The Internet has made a sport of picking apart the rapper’s age, fashion, dance moves, and now, her journey into motherhood. Kash Doll should be focused on resting as much as possible, preparing for the birth of her son, and staying safe during the ongoing pandemic instead of dealing with stress and scrutiny. And with that in mind, she took to Instagram Live to call out trolls and shut down rumors that she’d already given birth.

“Don’t try me when I’m outside,” Kash warned at the beginning of her live stream. “Y’all sit up here and stalk me, stalk everything about the baby to talk sh*t. He’s not even here yet! That’s why I’m not posting him.”

Once Kash announced her pregnancy with baby daddy Tracy T nothing was off-limits and jokes have been flying about everything from her baby shower to the look of her baby bump.

When the Detroit native shared that she will name her son Kashton Prophet Knight Richardson, people criticized that, too, calling the name “ghetto”. Kash, whose legal name is Arkeisha Antoinette Knight, had plenty to say about that.

“It’s giving obsessed, and then going to be mad when I don’t upload him. Kids are off limits,” she said while folding baby clothes. “If whatever it is ghetto, so what? I’m ghetto. I’m from the hood. Let me be ghetto in peace!”

The rapper can’t wait for her bundle of joy to get here, but don’t congratulate her on the new arrival just yet. She set the record straight that she still hasn’t given birth.

“No, I did not give birth! I don’t know why that’s trending. I’m still pregnant.”

Kash tilted the camera down to show off the big baby bump under her animal print robe, comparing it to a bowling ball.

Even though trolls targeting her unborn child set off those protective motherly instincts, the BMF star said she won’t let the hate ruin her joy.

“It’s always the broke and bothered,” Kash said. “And here my dumb a** goes, rich and bothered. Why am I letting these broke and bothered people bother my rich a**? I’m crazy! I think it’s because it’s my kid.”

Both motherhood and the pandemic are a bigger threat to Black women’s lives. The last thing Kash Doll needs is even more stress at a time like this.

Watch the video of her venting below.

We’re wishing Kash Doll and baby a peaceful pregnancy and safe delivery!

Despite Kanye’s numerous attempts, Kim Kardashian said she’s still decided to remain single. Last week, the star doubled down on the decision by filing legal documents to officially separate from the Grammy-award-winning hitmaker.

A source close to the 41-year-old told Page Six that Kim finds it rather odd that Ye is trying to reconcile their marital woes, especially since the Chicago native is currently living with his model girlfriend Vinetria in Malibu. Whispers of Vinetria and Ye’s rumored romance began to swirl back in early November when the two were caught canoodling during a DONDA Academy basketball game in Minneapolis. She was also reportedly with the rapper in Miami during his viral interview with the Drink Champs Podcast.

“Kim is making a statement by doubling down that she’s single,” a source close to the SKIMS founder revealed to the publication. “She thinks it’s strange that Kanye keeps saying he wants her back, but all the while he’s got the [22-year-old] model at his Malibu house,” they added.

Kim is currently waiting for the judge to sign off on the paperwork. If granted, she would become legally single as she and the rapper continue to hash out custody details over their four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2. The reality maven, who filed for divorce back in February, also wants to drop West’s surname and restore her famous maiden name.

So, what’s up with Ye and Vinetria anyway?

A source close to the pair told E-News that they weren’t “exclusively dating” but were still “hanging out.”

“Kanye is still hanging out and seeing model Vinetria, despite also trying to win Kim back,” the source continued. “Kanye likes Vinetria’s company and has continued to bring her around his friend group. She has stayed in his house several times in the last month and has been invited to social functions with him.”

The insider added:

“They aren’t exclusively dating, but are casually hanging out,” noting that the rapper’s burgeoning relationship with the Pat McGrath muse was “a great distraction for Kanye” during this tough time with his divorce.

Since their split, Kimmy Cakes has been seen out and about holding hands with SNL comedian Pete Davidson. The two confirmed their suspected coupledom back in November. A source close to the lovebirds shared at the time that the two were “really happy” together “and seeing where it goes.”

Trisha Yearwood invited a teary-eyed Lauren Alaina, the runner-up on Season 10 of ‘American Idol,’ to join the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday night.

Another festival, another night of violence and chaos. And unfortunately, another promising artist killed right in his hometown.

TMZ confirmed that rapper Drakeo the Ruler was stabbed at the Once Upon a Time in L.A. festival on Saturday night. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and died from his injuries shortly after.

Drakeo, whose legal name is Darrell Caldwell, was one of the dozens of artists scheduled to perform that night, including headliners Al Green, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and YG. The 28-year-old was backstage when he was attacked by a group of people and reportedly stabbed in the neck during the altercation.

Paramedics, LAPD, and California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene at Banc of California Stadium in Exposition Park around 8:40 p.m. The event was canceled shortly after.

A spokesperson for Live Nation said in a statement: “There was an altercation in the roadway backstage. Out of respect for those involved and in coordination with local authorities, artists and organizers decided not to move forward with remaining sets so the festival was ended an hour early.”

Fellow artists have already begun responding to the tragic news on social media. Drake, who collaborated with Drakeo this year on “Talk To Me,” wrote on his Instagram stories, “Nah man this shit isn’t right for real wtf are we doing. Always picked my spirit up with your energy. RIP Drakeo.”

Joey Fatts expressed his sorrow and frustration with the violence rappers face in their hometowns and at festivals recently.

“Drakeo was killed while working. Was there for a performance. All these get out the streets tweets/leave your city tweets. Shut the fuck up. No reason why a knife should be able to be snuck into a music festival. Especially since the Travis Scott shit. Rip Drakeo hope his fam sue.”

Drakeo just returned home from L.A.’s Men’s Central Jail in November of 2020 after four years in jail. While incarcerated, he recorded Thank You For Using GTL, which Pitchfork called “likely the greatest rap album ever recorded from jail.” Drakeo was released with time served for the gun charge after he was acquitted of murder and attempted murder charges, beating two potential life sentences.

The L.A. native told Rolling Stone back in March that music and a second chance at freedom gave him a new sense of purpose.

“I just want people to know that I’m here to stay,” he continued. “I want them to take my music seriously and feel everything. I mean, a lot of people know about my story … but I want them to know I had to go through a lot to get the things that I got. I might talk a certain way or say certain things, but I’ve been through a lot in my life. I want them to feel what I went through. When I did the song for the homie [“Long Live the Greatest”], people told me, ‘I feel you,’ and, ‘I know what you was going through.’ I want them to know that I’m a real person, that we’re the same.”

R.I.P. Drakeo the Ruler. Our condolences to his family and loved ones.

It’s only been a little over a month since Fetty Wap got out of jail, and he’s already back in trouble with the law.

Page Six reports that he was arrested for an outstanding warrant on Friday when his ankle monitor went off at Newark Liberty International Airport.

The rapper was just released on a $500,000 bond in early November to await trial for his Trap King charges. BOSSIP reported that just before he took the stage at Rolling Loud, Fetty was arrested by federal agents for trafficking over 100 kilos of cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, and crack cocaine in New Jersey and Long Island. The conditions of his recent release include the ankle monitor with GPS tracking, surrendering his passport, and prior approval to travel for professional purposes.

This recent run-in with the law seems to be unrelated to his federal drug case. The active warrant that led to Fetty’s arrest is from a public nuisance charge in North Bergen, New Jersey. It’s still unclear which incident led to this charge in the first place.

According to Port Authority spokesperson Rudolph King, “He was released on bail. No bail amount listed. And no mugshot.”

Now the 30-year-old, whose real name is Willie Junior Maxwell II, can hopefully focus on more important things like enjoying the holidays with his loved ones while he still can. The “Trap Queen” rapper faces a minimum sentence of 10 years and a maximum of life behind bars if convicted for running what federal prosecutors described as a”multimillion-dollar bicoastal drug distribution organization.”

Starz & 50 Cent are developing a drama series centered on the life of African Warrior Queen Nzinga with “American Gods” star Yetide Badaki set to star in the main role.

The series is based in 17th century Angola and according to Deadline, it’s described as an “African warrior drama.” The show follows Badaki’s transformation from an innocent princess to a fearless warrior.

“If you liked the movie 300 your gonna love this,” said Fif about the upcoming project.

Also, executive producing will be Badaki, Jackson, Steven S. DeKnight, and Mo Abudu.

50 Cent already has a number of successful shows on Starz such as “Power”, and the spin-off’s “Power Book II: Ghost”, “Raising Kanan”, and Tommy Egan’s spin-off, “Power Book IV: Force”, set to air in February 2022. 50 also has “BMF”,  based on the life and actual events of two brothers, Big Meech and Southwest T.

According to 50 Cent also in the works is a Snoop Dogg documentary with the working title of “Murder Was The Case.” The documentary will be based around Snoop’s trial for the first-degree murder of Phili Woldermariam in 1993. However, there’s no release date at this time.

Also in the works is the development of “A Moment in Time: The Massacre”, which follows the rivalry between 50 Cent and The Game.

It’s safe to say 50 Cent is heading into the new year a very busy man and we’re excited to see everything come together.

Aaliyah‘s new song “Poison” from the late R&B icon’s upcoming album, Unstoppable, has been released, and, well, a lot of fans appear to be disappointed. The song features The Weeknd, who might as well change his name to “The Monday” because everyone hates it.

OK, that’s a bit hyperbolic; there’s probably plenty of people who like the song, but some think it sounds “sloppy” and needs to be remastered in order to capture the gloriousness that was Aaliyah.

But before we get into all that, let’s start with a little info on the new release.

According to Complex, “Credits for the first official new Aaliyah release in more than a decade includes production from DannyBoyStyles and Nick Lamb, writing contributions from The Weeknd and the late Static Major, along with Mike Dean (mixing) and Shin Kamiyam (engineering) putting their touch on the record.”

“I’m so excited to share this new song by Aaliyah and the very talented The Weeknd,” Blackground Records founder Barry Hankerson said in a statement. “I wanted her adoring fans to get a special gift before the holidays and felt it was the perfect time to release a never-before-heard offering.”

But fans appear to be significantly less excited about the new release than Hankerson is. Now, to be fair, it doesn’t appear to be the song itself that people don’t like, they’re just not feeling the production value. I mean, it isn’t as bad as back in the late ’90s/ early 2000s when rappers were slapping random 2Pac verses on songs and just polluting our ears with grainy vocals that just barely matched the beats they were laid over. Still, the general consensus appears to be that the song either needs to be remastered, or there will remain only one “Poison” the Black delegation recognizes.

OK, but not everyone hated it.

Some listeners actually liked it while others at least thought it wasn’t the most terrible thing ever created since Taylor Swift‘s woefully unseasoned acoustic cover of Earth Wind & Fire’s “September.” (I deeply apologize for re-traumatizing anyone who didn’t need a reminder of that caucasified monstrosity of anti-Black cookout proportions. I was just trying to take some of the heat off of the “Poison” producers.)

But anyway, don’t let people who hate things influence your opinion on Aaliyah and The Weeknd’s new song.

Listen for yourself and tell us what you think.
