While some staffers at The Wendy Williams Show might be missing her presence, others are ready for changes to be made and for Wendy to be out the door.

“There’s talk of how to say goodbye and a lot of people on staff feel like there should be a tribute to Wendy or some kind of farewell,” a staffer revealed to Page Six.

“At the end of the day, it’s her show and she’s not there for it,” they added.

The Wendy Williams Show first premiered on July 14, 2008 and because her staffers have all these fond memories with her it makes a lot of sense to push for one last show with Wendy.

“People want her to come back… A lot of people — especially the mid and low-level producers — who signed up for the job because of Wendy. It feels like it’s just going to end without her. It’s weird,” they said.

On the other hand a number of staffers aren’t so thrilled of the idea of Wendy returning. Some have said to still be traumatized over Williams’ allegedly erratic behavior in recent years.

“There have been days where people thought they wouldn’t have a job because she wouldn’t show up to work, so this idea that there’s some conundrum? No,” they said. “She held the fate of almost 125 staffers’ ability to care for their families [in her hands]. They’re glad they finally have some security in their life with Shepherd’s show,” they added.

With Sherri Shepherd stepping in she’ll most likely bring along most of Williams’ production staff when her show debuts in September. While it’s not confirmed, Shepherd is expected to guest host the last episodes of Williams’ show, which “makes it awkward because she’s the one replacing her,” per the first source.

Wendy recently did an interview with Fat Joe and told Page Six she “would love the chance to actually speak with Sherri and sit down and meet.”

Williams’ attorney LaShawn Thomas has said, “Wendy requesting to have a sit-down with Sherri to have a meeting of the minds is the perfect solution as she has no ill will or intent.”

Can’t quite say that Sherri is here for that conversation as she has stated that she’s “unbothered by all of it.”

The final episode is slated to air June 17th. Do you think Wendy Williams should be able to host the last episode? Let us know below!

After almost a week in Cobb County jail, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Young Thug’s legal team filed an emergency motion for bond on Friday because of the “inhumane” condition. He was named with Gunna and 26 others in the 56-count indictment against affiliates of the YSL label, which Thug co-founded. The 30-year-old has been locked up since he was arrested during a raid at his Atlanta home on Monday for allegedly violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was held in isolation while he awaits a bond hearing in Fulton County Superior Court. Attorney Brian Steel claims Thug was unable to sleep due to an overhead light in his cell that stays on for 24 hours a day and unable to eat the “inedible” food served at the jail. The emergency motion states that Williams has been left in a windowless cement room unable to exercise, shower, or speak to anyone outside of his attorneys “as if he is a forgotten person alone in the world.”

“He will be vindicated but this is wrong. He is being treated the exact same as the person next door to him who has been arrested tried and convicted for murder and sentenced to death,” Steele said.

The court did not set a date after the first time Steel filed for a bond hearing on Tuesday.

The failure to schedule a bond hearing for this innocent man, coupled with the inhumane and unconstitutional treatment of Mr. Williams, mandates that this Honorable Court grant bond until a hearing can be held.” The motion also requested that “Williams is not held in isolation and that he be given access to televisions, windows, showers and other surroundings that pretrial detainees typically receive.”

The new filing also asserts that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis violated Thug’s first and fourteenth amendment rights when she used his own song lyrics against him as criminal evidence. Steel said those songs were nothing more than his client simply doing his job by “lawfully exercising his freedom of speech and expression in his profession as a musical artist.”

“The state seeks to insinuate criminal conduct from quotations from song lyrics and social media posts. To weaponize these words by charging overt acts to support a supposed conspiracy is unconscionable and unconstitutional,” he wrote.

According to WSB-TV, the dungeon-like conditions are supposed to be for the 30-year-old’s own good. The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office said Thug is in administrative solitary confinement for his own safety and the 24-hour light allows the officers to make sure that he’s ok at all times.

In addition to allegations from the RICO indictment that Thugger rented a car that was later used in the 2015 murder of alleged rival gang member Donovan Thomas and conspired to murder rapper YFN Lucci, the raid of his Buckhead home led to seven more felony charges. Police claim they found several guns, 1,300 grams of marijuana, 31 bottles of Promethazine syrup, and 20 bottles of “YSL Slime Drink” laced with THC.

“Mr. Williams committed no crime whatsoever,” Steel said about his Grammy-winning client, and he will “fight till his last drop of blood to clear him.”

Looks like the love is really strong between Chaney Jones and Kanye West.

So strong that some pretty permanent moves are being made — or at least ones that would require laser surgery to reverse! You guys know where we’re going with this right?! Thursday Kanye West’s bangin’ bawwwdied boo thang Chaney Jones posted up on her Instagram stories rocking a chrome two-piece set that featured a bandeau top, body-hugging pants and matching thigh-high boots, but the star of the snap seems to be new ink spotted by eagle-eyed onlookers, who quickly identified the tattoo on Chaney’s left wrist as her famous boyfriend’s name, “Ye.”

Jones has been linked to Kanye West since February, when she accompanied him to a Donda 2 event in Miami and they were photographed shopping in Bal Harbour. The pair most recently spotted jet-setting in Japan last week and were spied shopping in Shibuya during their little getaway. You know these shopping trips must be luxurious if the lady is inspired to get inked up so soon.

Chaney’s tattoo already had tongues wagging that this is another tit-for-tat situation considering Pete Davidson, who is currently dating Ye’s estranged wife Kim Kardashian, is known to have multiple tattoos in Kim’s honor. Earlier this month, Davidson was photographed sporting a new tattoo on his collarbone which appears to read “KNSCP,” commonly believed to represent Kim and her and West’s four kids, North, 8½, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2½. Kardashian revealed another of Davidson’s tattoos in March, which says “my girl is a lawyer.” It’s no secret that Kardashian celebrated passing the “baby bar” exam last year, after a few failed attempts.

What do you think? Are Kanye and Chaney just naturally progressing? Or is this in response to Kim and Pete’s accelerated love affair? Would you get your boo’s name or nickname tatted within just a few months of dating?

Hip-hop buffs and critics are itching to decipher Kendrick Lamar’s next era when new album ‘Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers’ is released at midnight.

At one point, rumors were swirling that Jeannie Mai Jenkins was set to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. We know what you’re thinking. Jeannie Mai? A peach holder?

We can kind of see her fitting in well with the sassy Atlanta socialites, but the rumor also claimed that she’d be coming to snatch a peach from Kandi Burruss which made it VERY hard to believe.

Well, this week The Real co-host set the record straight about the alleged hearsay.

“That was crazy. I literally was just over here having a baby and I’m hearing these rumors, I was like ‘Where? How am I going to go from this into that because that’s a full-time job,” the 43-year-old told viewers on a May 11 airing of the popular daytime talk show.

Mai, who just welcomed her adorable daughter Monaco in January with rapper hubby Jeezy, told fans that she’s not even sure where the buzz came from.

“Do you know when they say where’s there’s smoke, there’s fire? That was a complete rumor,” the star continued. “I haven’t talked to one person, my people haven’t talked to one person from Bravo, so that was a complete rumor that got made up.”

RHOA vet Kenya Moore appeared as a guest on Wednesday’s episode of The Real, and she claimed she heard the gossip too.

Interestingly enough, Kenya gave Mai her seal approval, noting how the ABC correspondent would “make an excellent Housewife.”

“You could come on as my friend,” she added.

That definitely sounded kind of shady, but anyway… All in all, Mai said she’s not interested in joining the drama-filled Bravo series.

“The door is closed. It’s sealed. There wasn’t a door to begin with. It was a wall. There is no door,”  she laughed, before referencing her co-host Garcelle Beauvais, who stars on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“I say that, just because it’s a lot of work. And even knowing Garcelle, I always ask her ‘How do you get your mind in the place of going in to shoot and you’re not ready for what might come at you? And she tells me too, it’s a full-time job.”

Dang… we could totally see Jeannie Mai throwing out “fun shade” and on the epic girls’ trips too, but according to the Emmy-award-winning producer, she’s just happy to be enjoying her full-time job as a new momma.

“I’m going to leave it to you guys because you do it well,” she added to both Moore and Beauvais.

As for Kandi, the RHOA OG also shut down the chit-chatter during an exclusive interview with ET. She said she didn’t even know where the heck the rumor came from.

“I don’t know who makes these rumors up. I think somebody secretly wants to get rid of me or something. I’m like, ‘Too late. I already filmed season 14, ” she joked, but all is well for the Old Lady Gang restauranteur.

Burruss said she would happily welcome Mai with open arms if she were to join next season.

“I’m cool with Jeannie and I love her. So, please, I would love for her to come on,” the bustling entrepreneur shared, before adding:
“I don’t know if somebody wants her to come through. I mean, it would be great to see her. I would love for her to be a part… We’re friends, so let me be the one to bring her on.”

Welp, there you have it! Check out the actual Real Housewife of Atlanta Kenya Moore talk about the new season below.
