Poor Zeke

We’re still reeling from Diana choosing the highest form of violence by spilling ALL of the Tejada tea during an explosive dinner scene that shattered the Powerverse.

“She let it all out at the dinner,” said LaToya Tonodeo (Diana) in an interview with TVLINE. “She cooks. She’s like, “I’m going to cook this dinner, and my parents are going to be there, my brother, and she’s trying to hold it in because she gave Monet the opportunity to want to talk.”

[But Monet] brushes her off, So, Diana’s like ‘OK, fine. I gave her the opportunity. Here we go!” [Laughs] It’s described as the nuclear dinner… I don’t know how it’s edited or what we kept, but everyone just went off. Mary [J. Blige] throws stuff. I’m like, oh, my God. There was a moment, I don’t know if they’re going to keep this or not, but she jumped up out of her chair, and she didn’t do that before.

And when she did, at that point I jumped, because she was coming for me! … It was so great. I really hope they keep that. [Editor’s note: They did.] I don’t know if they will or not, but yes it’s the nuclear dinner and we’re dropping bombs. Diana is telling on everybody. Everybody. Even Monet.”

When the smoke cleared, Zeke learned he’s actually 23, not 19, in an unintentionally hilarious moment where he’s more concerned with breaking NCAA rules than Monet being his mother who lied to him his entire life.

What’s even wilder is that Monet maintained the lie for 20+ years, hid her secret from Lorenzo, changed Zeke’s birthday and got him into college with a fake birth certificate.

At this point, it’s all downhill for Monet who paid Carrie a visit that ended with the ill-fated professor hanging in her apartment.

With only two episodes left, we can’t wait to see how Zeke deals with the shock of finding out Monet is really his mother, he’s four years older than he thought, and the death of Carrie.

Do you think the murders get pinned on Zeke? Tell us down below and peep the funniest reactions to Diana blowing up the Tejada family and confusing Zeke on the flip.

We all know Charlamagne Tha God doesn’t hold back, especially when it comes to his opinions about Kanye West.

Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen - Season 18

In a recent episode of his podcast, Brilliant Idiots, the author and radio host gave his opinion about Kanye’s recent Pete Davidson diss, which he included in his verse on the Game’s track, “Eazy.” Of course, this comes as the Saturday Night Live star cozies up to Ye’s soon-to-be-ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

“I thought Kanye’s bar to Pete was corny as hell,” Charlamagne said. “I thought it was corny. I didn’t like it…what happened to Jesus? What happened to God? You weren’t even cursing on your records and now all of a sudden you wanna beat up Pete Davidson?”

He continued,

“I just thought the line was corny. For me, I think about what he said on Drink Champs when he said, he used all the backpackers. Remember he was like ‘I used all the backpackers cause I never really liked backpack rap,’ and then you see him hanging out with like a lot of the street rappers now. He’s hanging out with all these guys just to be able to say that line. You know what I mean? But I want all those street rappers to know, he’s using y’all too. But the difference is the street rappers aren’t going to be used. They gon keep they hand in Kanye West’s pockets cause wolves do not make good house pets, and Kanye West will learn that.”

Following his take on the song, when asked if he was tired of the antics, Charlamagne added that he’s “been tired of it.”

Tuesday nights are for “Grand Crew” and we mean that sincerely.

BOSSIP’s Sr. Content Director Janeé Bolden caught up with “Grand Crew” actors Aaron Taylor Jennings and Carl Tart ahead of this week’s episode and discussed the unique way the show portrays Black men and their friendship dynamics. On the show Tart and Jennings play Sherm and Anthony, two very different people who are often forced to find a middle ground since they are roommates. While Anthony is an accountant and UCLA grad who happens to be vegan, Sherm is an anime-loving genius who is currently unemployed.

Aaron Taylor Jennings revealed that the important themes that are tackled in the storyline played a big part in his decision to join the cast.

“That’s ultimately what attracted me to this project,” Jennings told BOSSIP about the show’s comedic take on real issues. “Yes of course there’s so much fun shooting it and hopefully the audience is enjoying that as well, but the fact that it has that heart and it explores those themes in a lighthearted way so it’s not so heavy-handed, so it’s palatable, it’s like hiding the medicine in the soup. That’s important for us to see ourselves in that way, I think it gives us permission to be as we are and then, for other audiences outside of our community, to see us as non-monolithic and human, it’s done that job as well.”

Jennings’ costar Carl Tart agreed, noting that he’s gotten a lot of feedback in his DM’s, both from Black men who see themselves in the show as well as those who feel the characters are soft.

“There have been some dudes that have slid in my DM’s like ‘Yo, what y’all are doing reminds me of me and my friends!’ “Y’all are the group of friends that I wish I had.’ “I see myself in y’all.’ ” Tart told BOSSIP. “Also I’ve had people hitting me up that have been like, ‘Man y’all too soft. I don’t like it. That’s not how a Black man is supposed to be portrayed!”

“But who makes the rules on how a Black man is supposed to be portrayed?” Tart continued. “We’ve seen ourselves portrayed in such a negative light in so much media representation that people can’t understand, these are just Black dudes. You don’t have to put us in no box, you don’t have to be like ‘these dudes are THIS!’ Both sides of the coin are people crying out for something they never have had. I think that’s what’s really cool about what we’re doing. So while I definitely will be like, ‘Hold up man, don’t be in my DMs starting ish, you’ll get these hands. I step back and go oh this person needed this.’”

Rae Sremmurd has been on hiatus for the past few years. While Swae Lee has become the go-to hook maker and ghostwriter in the music industry, Slim Jxmmi has made his imprint in the streaming and gaming space.

Today, NBC Miami reported that despite the success he’s seen with streaming, Slim Jxmmi is in police custody at the Miami-Dade jail due to an arrest for battery. The person he battered is allegedly his girlfriend, with whom he shares a son.

According to police officials, the girlfriend told them that an argument ensued after she questioned him about someone he follows on Twitter. Jxmmi reportedly left after the argument and later returned smelling like alcohol. According to TMZ, this is when the alleged assault happened.

Officials say the girlfriend told them that as she was “trying move their son to his bed”, Jxmmi came at her pulled her hair so hard that it “tore the extensions from her head.” She tried to record the attack before locking herself in a room, where he reportedly ended up kicking down the door, taking her phone, and throwing it from their balcony, police officials added to the outlet.

Police later recovered the phone near their home and the phone was still intact.

Despite the cop’s claims that she made numerous allegations against the rapper, Jxmmi’s girlfriend is denying that she was assaulted.

“Oh wow. This is cap. Dade County y’all are wrong for this,” she wrote. “I told you guys he did not hit me. Every officer you guys had in my face are wrong for this. No hands were put on anybody, I stated it more than once. It was a loud argument and the police were called. You guys turn nothing into something. It’s our sons first birthday tomorrow, what’s wrong with y’all?”

According to Fox 7 reporter Sheldon Fox, Jxmmi is still in custody at the Miami-Dade jail. Until he is released, we probably won’t hear any update or his side of the story, but we will update you with any new developments.

TMZ reports that the “WAP” rapper was victorious in court Monday against YouTuber Tasha K who Cardi claimed fabricated harmful lies about her on the Internet and tried to harm her reputation with a “malicious campaign.”

As previously reported Cardi testified that she was left feeling “extremely suicidal” due to alleged lies spewed about her by K, born Latasha Kebe.

Tasha made multiple claims that Cardi denied including that the rapper was a “prostitute”, contracted multiple STIs, “f–ked herself with beer bottles on f—king stripper stages,” and that her daughter Kulture may have been born with “intellectual disabilities” due to Cardi allegedly using drugs during her pregnancy.

Cardi first filed her lawsuit against Tasha K in 2019 and after a two-week trial in present day, Tasha was found liable for defamation, liable for invasion of privacy through portrayal in a false light, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Monday’s verdict awarded Cardi B $1.25 million in damages, but the total could potentially end up higher, reports Billboard. The outlet adds that proceedings will kick off Tuesday to decide whether Kebe owes additional punitive damages, or whether she must reimburse Cardi B’s legal expenses.

Tasha K has reacted to her loss in court saying in part, “My husband, attorneys & I fought really hard. Winos [her name for her followers], it’s only up from here.”

All might not be lost however, Tasha’s attorneys can challenge the verdict to the judge in the weeks ahead and potentially appeal the verdict to a federal appeals court.

As you can imagine, Cardi’s fans are ECSTATIC about the victory and they’re relentlessly trolling the YouTuber.

What do YOU think about Cardi B defeating Tasha K in court?

We’ve heard about shady pastors but damn!

green wood Door with Lock

Source: Adél Békefi / Getty

This is one of those stories that might just have you looking at the collection plate a lil’ funny this Sunday. According to a report in PEOPLE, a 55-year-old Georgia pastor named Curtis Bankston and his 56-year-old wife Sophia Simm-Bankston were arrested for operating an unlicensed, unsanctioned, unsupervised “personal care facility” out of their home. More specifically, the locked basement of their home. Authorities say the couple was using a church moniker, One Step of Faith 2nd Chance, to disguise the evil nature of their allegedly sick endeavor that included the imprisonment of 8 people.

On January 13, the Griffin Fire Department showed up at the house after receiving a call stating that a “patient” had a seizure. When they saw that the basement door had been secured with a double deadbolt lock, they called the police.

“Preliminary information indicated that as many as eight individuals resided in the basement of this residence and that they were ‘locked in’ at certain times by the ‘caretakers,’” reads the statement. “The ‘caretakers’ have been leasing this property for approximately fourteen months, using the basement as a personal care home for the individuals, which essentially imprisoned them against their will.”

Those who were held in the Bankston basement ranged in ages from 25-65 and all were suffering from either mental or physical impairments. There’s no telling WHAT type of twisted things these devils were allegedly doing to those poor people. Further investigation showed that the Bankstons not only allegedly imprisoned victims, but they also allegedly gained control of their personal finances, medications, and all public benefits.

The devil works hard but nobody works harder than diabolical people who claim to be doing God’s work.

As one would expect, the couple has hired a lawyer who released the following statement via WXIA that we’re not even sure that he believes.

“Everybody inside this home was here on their own free will, they were free to come and go as they please,” Wimbish said. “No one was kept, held hostage. … You’re not talking about somebody profiting off of the backs of the poor, you’re talking about somebody who’s actually doing what God commanded us to do — go out into the byways and the highways, spread his message, and feed individuals and clothe individuals. He’s doing what his God has called him to do.”

He also alleged that his client was a “Black man under attack.”

If this tis true, hell might be Chateau Elan for these heathens. They need something a lil’ more spicy than eternal damnation.
