There’s a new thriller coming to theaters near you (and video-on-demand) next month, and it stars some of our favorite big screen talents.

Lauren London, Wood Harris, Cynthia Addai Robinson, Loretta Devine, Robbie Jones, and more are all set to play in the upcoming film, Always and Forever, in which “no bad deed goes unpunished.” Robbie Jones infamously raised the hair on our necks as Harley in Temptations: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, so we’re truly petrified to see him work. Not to mention, the fact that Wood Harris is a one-of-a-kind artist and Ms. Devine is an award-winning legend.

Here’s a quick synopsis, courtesy of UMC:

“Nicole (Addai-Robinson) seems to have it all – a great job, an adoring husband (Jones) – but her perfect world is shattered when her childhood friend is suddenly found dead. The tragedy reunites Nicole with her best friends from years ago, but they each soon find themselves in danger, targets of a deranged stalker. As the secrets of their past come back to haunt them, they’ll soon realize that a deadly nightmare is just beginning for those who long ago pledged their loyalty to each other, ‘always and forever.’”

Last night’s final Presidential debate between 74-year-old 5th grader Donald Tr*mp and former Vice President Joe Biden was a slightly more watchable spectacle where Biden, once again, proved he’s the adult in the room with honor, decency and actual PLANS compared to Trump who lied and lied and lied (and lied) while reminding everyone that he requires adult supervision at all times.

At this point, it’s clear who the best choice is between the two at a stressfully uncertain time in America where COVID continues to spike SEVEN WHOLE MONTHS into a preventable pandemic.

On COVID-19:

Trump: “I caught it. I learned a lot … We have to recover. We can’t close up our nation.”

Biden: “If you hear nothing else I say tonight hear this … Anyone who’s responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of United States of America.”

Biden: “This is the same fellow told you this is going to end by Easter last time. This is the same fellow who told you that, don’t worry, we’re going to end this by the summer. We’re about to go into a dark winter, a dark winter, and he has no clear plan.”

Biden: “He says we’re learning to live with it. People are learning to die with it”

Trump on his unreleased taxes:

“Deep down in the IRS, they treat me horribly. We made a deal. It was all settled until I decided to run for president. I get treated very badly by the IRS. Very unfairly.

But we had a deal all done. As soon as we’re completed with the deal — I want to release it. But I have paid millions and millions of dollars. And it’s worse than paying. I paid in advance. It’s called prepaying your taxes.”

Trump: “I take full responsibility. It’s not my fault that it came here. It’s China’s fault. And you know what, it’s not Joe’s fault that it came here either.”

(“I take full responsibility…it’s China’s fault” – hmmmmmmm)

North Korea:

Biden: “He’s legitimized North Korea. He’s talked about his good buddy (leader Kim Jong Un), who’s a thug. And he talks about how we’re better off when North Korea is much more capable of firing a missile that is able to reach U.S. territory.”

Trump: “You know what? North Korea – we’re not in a war. We have a good relationship.”

Biden: “We had a good relationship with Hitler before he in fact invaded Europe. Come on.”

Trump: “I’d like to terminate Obamacare… come up with better health care, always protecting people with preexisting conditions.”

Biden: “We’re going to make sure we’re in a situation where we’re actually going to protect preexisting conditions. … [Trump’s] never come up with a plan.”

If you haven’t already voted there’s still time or you could just wait until November 3rd–Election Day–that’s sure to have a record turnout across the country.

How do you feel about last night’s debate? Who won? Tell us in the comments and peep the pettiest tweets on the flip.

Tim Norman will NOT be going home ahead of his trial.

Tim Norman

The embattled reality star who starred on OWN’s “Welcome To Sweetie Pies” recently pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities in the commission of a murder-for-hire, resulting in death in connection with the 2016 murder of his nephew Andre Montgomery.

As previously reported he’s facing charges alongside exotic dancer, Terica Ellis, and insurance agent, Waiel “Wally” Yaghnam who are accused of helping him conspire to collect a $450K life insurance policy after Montgomery’s murder.

Norman’s defense attorney recently argued that the reality star is not a likely flight risk and should be released to stay with his mother, “Sweetie Pies” owner Ms. Robbie Montgomery who lives in the St. Louis area.

Unfortunately for Tim however, that ain’t happening.

A judge ruled this week that he will remain in prison until his trial citing the “strength of evidence against him.”

STLToday reports that U.S. Magistrate Judge Nannette Baker wrote in her order that Tim faces a possible penalty of life in prison or the death penalty if convicted, thus he has an incentive to flee if released before trial. That’s not all however, Judge Baker’s order also mentions Norman’s 1997 convictions on three criminal cases involving assault, robbery, and kidnapping and his potential to be a danger to the community.

Ms. Robbie has yet to release a formal statement on her son’s case but she previously told a local reporter that she felt “weak” and solicited prayers. She also recently shared a message on Instagram thanking fans for their support.

All the best to Ms. Robbie during these tumultuous times.

On Thursday night, the actress appeared on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, making an in-studio appearance on a talk show for the first time in months. During her interview, they talk about the newest episode of Black-ish and the choice to make it half-animated, how much things have been different when going back to work since the pandemic, and more.

Later on in the episode, the pair also go on to discuss how Tracee feels about Halloween. Because her birthday is so close to the holiday, she got sick of the dressing up and all of the parties by the age of 12–and now, she hates the day because of 3 simple reasons. Even though her mother, Dianna Ross, has told her to not use the word, “hate,” she stands her ground in reaaaally not liking the holiday a lot of people hold so dearly.

Check out the interview down below to see why Tracee Ellis Ross–and Jimmy Kimmel, too–has such strong feelings about Halloween

Shonda Rhimes is sharing details about the shocking disrespect she endured while creating content for ABC.

ABC's TGIT Premiere Event

As previously reported the ShondaLand creator is happily at Netflix with a multiyear, nine-figure partnership after leaving ABC in 2017. Recently she was asked by The Hollywood Reporter, about her time working with ABC that she admitted was tumultuous behind the scenes. According to Shonda, ABC took issue with a number of things she did, and battles would ensue.

“They’d push, she’d push back. Over budget. Over content. Over an ad she and the stars of her series — Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder — made for then-presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

“I felt like I was dying,” she explained. “Like I’d been pushing the same ball up the same hill in the exact same way for a really long time.”

She apparently reached her breaking point however when she was snubbed over a measly $154 Disneyland ticket. The Walt Disney Company of course owns ABC and one of the perks of her job was free all-inclusive passes to Disney theme parks, a courtesy extended to all employees.

But Shonda recalled an incident when she shockingly got pushback for requesting an additional ticket for her sister. After being told several times “We never do this”, the network relented and gave her an additional pass but when she got to the entrance of the park, with her children, nanny, and sister—the pass did not work.

Shonda told The Hollywood Reporter that she called up a high ranking executive at the network to help solve the problem but they quickly copped an attitude.

“Don’t you have enough?” said the exec on the phone.

Hopefully, that exec quickly copped some walking papers for that silliness.

The Disneyland snub was the final straw for the woman whose shows made Disney $2 billion, and Shonda was officially out.

“Rhimes was beside herself. She thanked him for his time, then hung up and called her lawyer: Figure out a way to get her over to Netflix, or she’d find new representatives.

Shonda whose Netflix deal is reportedly for $300 million, has eight original Netflix series in the works. She’s also clearly feeling more free while working with the streaming service.

“And then I said, ‘I just want to be in a place where I can make stuff and no one’s going to bother me or make me feel like I’m beholden,’” said Shonda recalling a meeting she had with Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos  and he was like, ‘That sounds great to me!’”

Know your worth, people.

If people want to see a problem in the streets for REAL, let this George Floyd case fall apart and allow killer cop Derek Chauvin to walk away scot-free. Go ‘head. Watch how it plays out. According to CNN, the Hennepin County judge presiding over the nationally-infuriating murder case, Peter Cahill, has summarily dismissed the third-degree murder charge.

Now, before your blood pressure gets too high, Chauvin will still face the second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter charges that have been brought against him for Floyd’s death. In the 107-page ruling Cahill stated that prosecutors didn’t have grounds because Chauvin wasn’t “eminently dangerous” to other people outside of Floyd himself. The other two charges are much more serious in terms of potential punishment. That said, we don’t want this POS to get off of anything. Throw the whole library at his a$$. Who cares?

Hearing for former Minneapolis police officers involved in George Floyd death

A DailyMail article explains how third-degree murder is defined by Minnesota state law:

Under Minnesota law, a person is guilty of third-degree murder if ‘without intent to effect the death of any person, [the defendant] causes the death of another by perpetrating an act eminently dangerous to others and evincing a depraved mind, without regard for human life’.

A piece of our soul definitely died watching that video. Doesn’t that count?
